1. Umbreon has poisonous sweat

   This is probably because it was a Poison-type Pokémon.

2. Umbreon's Japanese name is currently translated as "Bracky," but before 2023, it was translated as "Blacky"

   

   I have no idea what "Bracky" means, so the previous translation makes more sense to me.

3. Umbreon has the same footprint as Glaceon and Leafeon

   

   That's pretty unique, considering they're pretty different Pokémon altogether.

4. Umbreon has the same coloring as statues of the ancient Egyptian deities Bast (cat goddess) and Anubis (jackal-headed god of the afterlife and funerals)

   

   Funny, since Umbreon is a little cat-like and is associated with dark stuff.

5. Umbreon's rings may be designed to resemble solar eclipses

   

   This idea is pretty cool since it kind of gives off the feeling of being the counter to Espeon.

6. The Gold and Silver Spaceworld '97 demo featured a purple Umbreon

   Probably because it was a Poison type at the time of the demo.
