Considering that there is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I felt as if a similar vein could be applied to Pop Music.

This is a list about not just the best Pop Music has to offer, but its also about the influence and legacy that these artists have presented. Hence, a "Hall of Fame".

I mean, his title is "King of Pop". It is to be expected. In all fairness, Michael has remained one of Pop Music's most seminal and influential music artists, in spite of his many controversies.

The biggest solo pop star in history, he would be the first and only one inducted first year so the enitre show can be dedicated to his greatness.

She is "The Voice". She was the first true black female global superstar and one of the original pop divas who set the lane for woman to break in easier in American popular music.

Like MJ, she has her own moniker; "The Queen of Pop" and its easy to see why she deserves it. She has one of the most powerful voices out of any female music artists I can think of.

Isn't Madonna the Queen of Pop and not Whitney?

Celine Dion Céline Marie Claudette Dion is a Canadian singer and businesswoman. She is best known for her song "My Heart Will Go On", which is the main theme of the 1997 film Titanic, which was the first film to gross $1 billion at the box office.

Alongside Whitney and Mariah Carey, them and Celine make up for one of music's most renowned Group of influential artists. That, and she has a very powerful voice, one of the best out of any music artist in general.

Her voice is the driving factor to some of the 90s biggest pop ballads which are in turn some of the most iconic love songs in modern history so she is definitely on this lost with reason.

Prince and MJ were formidable rivals. Despite MJ's superior stage persona and singing, Prince is no slouch either and excels in instrumentals for an alternative. One of Pop's greatest instrumentalists.

I think Prince had better singing skills and a better voice than Michael Jackson but Michael was more entertaining because of his dancing.

Hard to say; he only had a handful of albums that could really be construed as pop (Young Americans, Let's Dance, Tonight, and maybe Hunky Dory or Ziggy Stardust). His "best" work (Station to Station, Low, "Heroes", Lodger, Scary Monsters, ★, etc.) certainly wasn't. I guess he did drive a number of pop music trends, which probably justifies his inclusion.

Undeniably talented. His experimentation and versatility is remarkable and whilst he is a rock artist he is also a pop artist as well, which is awesome. His influence has gone on for several years and he is one of the best singers ever in my opinion. R.i.p. David Bowie(Day of his death was in 2016)

Elton John Sir Elton Hercules John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, pianist and composer.
