JKT48 is the newest, freshest idol group. They are the official sister group of AKB48, the number one idol group in Japan. JKT48 performs in theater concerts, TV concerts, etc. It's well-known that JKT48 are all good singers. They are the best singers in the entire 48 family. Recently, JKT48 held a "Mega Concert," which received a big response not only in Indonesia but also in Japan. Japan is the home of idols, but the Japanese were surprised by JKT48's big ability. SNSD is the best. No one can beat them in my heart. They're the leaders of the Hallyu wave, the bosses. They may be idols, but they seem like your girls next door. They are down-to-earth, dorky, and funny. They don't care about their image, even if there are many cameras on them. They just want to be themselves. They play pranks on each other. The nine of them are really close, like real sisters.
They may have the faces of goddesses, but in their hearts, they are just young girls who want to live like 20-year-olds despite being the center of attention. Love them forever.

These girls hit the trail BoA pioneered, put it in overdrive, and never looked back. As a group or as individuals, it's almost impossible to beat these women. I'm not biased. DBSK isn't even my favorite band. But if we're talking about the most powerful/best Asian pop artists, it has to be DBSK/TVXQ. They've dominated both Japan and Asia, have the biggest fan club in the world, and even as they are now (acting as just Yunho and Changmin), they are even more popular now than when they were a group. Sorry, everyone else. DBSK wins.

Their voices are heavenly. Their a cappella is beautiful. Their personalities are so good and down-to-earth, despite how great their popularity is. They taught me about friendship, brotherhood, love, life, and dreams. They are an inspiration.

AKB48 is the best girl group in this generation. This idol group has been criticized by so many, like being presented as imperfect in everything: ugly, talentless, etc. But that is what a real idol is. They don't present themselves as perfect. Instead, they show their imperfections. They started their idol careers as amateurs and beginners in everything, and little by little, they get better and better until they become National Idols. Time and time again, they prove everyone criticizing them wrong. I think that is what everyone should follow. Be true to yourself. You don't need to have plastic surgery to be beautiful. Don't give up and believe in yourself more until you reach your dreams.

All SHINee members are great, not just one. They all have unique personalities that fit with each other, and they can come together as one, not five. Haha! I love their music. It always brightens up my day. They are also very handsome. If I had to choose a favorite member, I couldn't. It would be all of them. They are all great singers, and I love the way their music is so new and different. I think that everyone should get to hear their music. It's so good to me. Wherever I go, I am always thinking about Big Bang. They are always on my mind. If it were up to me, I would put them at number one, just like their song.

The reason Big Bang is the best pop artist is that they show strong friendship among the members. They trust each other and overcome their conflicts and obstacles together. They show us what true cooperation means by understanding each other and withstanding hardships together.

Each and every member of EXO is flawless. They operate at a different level. What is most intriguing about them is their love, friendship, and support for each of their members. They are "sarang."

EXO deserves to be in first place. I'm Asian, and I don't know how such a popular boy band ended up in the top 14 while an unknown singer got first place! Something must be wrong with the votes, I guess.

They are a great group. Even though they are just rookies, they already have millions of fans! Other rookie groups don't have that! Laugh out loud.
Blink

Blink is an amazing girl band in Indonesia for me. I like their performances, their skills, their songs, and their voices are really good. I like Ify Blink because she is so perfect for me. She has created two songs titled "Andaikan" and "Blinking".
My friend asked me, "Why do you really like Blink?" I like them because they have good voices and performances, and they can act on TV. I always watch Blink on TV. They often cover popular songs such as "Firework" and "What Makes You Beautiful", among many others. I just like the girl band of Indonesia, Blink. We will always support you guys.

Blink is a teenage girl band from Indonesia, aged 15 to 16 years old, who rely not only on dance skills but also on their vocal quality. All of its members have participated in contests at the international level.
Sivia even won a silver medal at the World Choir 2007. Not only Sivia, but Ify also participated in Java Jazz 2011 and performed in front of the Sultan of Brunei with Sivia. Pricilla performed in France in 2008 and has been part of a well-known musical theatre production in Indonesia called "Musikal Laskar Pelangi," which has performed at Esplanade Theater in Singapore. Febby also participated in a dance competition with her friends in Korea.

For first-timers, I recommend you listen to Rolling Star and Summer Song. She has a lot of good songs for different genres or moods. YUI indeed is one of Asia's remarkable talents. She is the best!

Well, I don't know her very well, but as I've watched her interviews and other content, she seems to have a good personality and is such a funny girl. I often laugh when I watch her acts on TV.
She also has quite a good voice, and her pitch is well-controlled in almost all her performances, which gives her extra points compared to other singers. What a great idol!

This woman is the single most important reason the Hallyu Wave even exists. She was the first non-Japanese person to crack the Oricon charts, a breakout wonder on the Billboard dance charts in the U.S., and an inspiration to almost all the acts on this list for getting into entertainment in the first place. Best of Asia, simply BoA.
The fact that she's not at number one is a travesty. This woman is the reason people outside of Asia have become interested in this music. No one, and I mean no one, has had the impact on not only the Asian market, but also the world market that BoA has.
She is simply the greatest performer still living. All of the accolades that the rest of this list has received have either been down paths she created or because she was busy elsewhere when they won (hear that, Agnezmo?).

They're really very hard-working, and it shows because they have such perfect stages. It's incredible. Their main singer, Daehyun, is so talented. His voice gives me chills, in a good way. They're great and nice too. I've been to their fan meet and sign in Malaysia, and they were so sweet to the fans.

Although they're rookies, with their charisma and talent, they're absolutely one of the best groups for me. Even though I could talk all day about their awesomeness, I'll keep it at this.
