1 Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, 5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991) was a Zanzibari-born British singer of Indian descent, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Queen. He died on November 24, 1991 from bronchopneumonia as a result from HIV/AIDS

The fact that this isn't Number 1 just shocks me. As much as I love Amy Lee, Freddie Mercury is just a legend.

I think Amy Lee also has a unique voice, but there's no denying that Freddie Mercury belongs at 1.

The greatest singer, who ever walked on Earth, we all know that.

Not really a rock or metal singer, but he is good.

2 Amy Lee Amy Lynn Hartzler, known professionally as Amy Lee, is an American singer-songwriter, classically trained pianist and composer. She is also the lead singer to the Arkansas band Evanescence.

Gorgeous voice. Way better than talentless hacks who twerk to be famous like Nicki Minaj.

He decided to form a band with Mark Hoppus and Scott Raynor called Blink-182. He was known for his guitar playing and his raspy voice. Years later in 2015, Tom left the band Blink-182. Other bands he was in include AVA and Box Car Racer.

How can anyone say his voice is not unique? Sure, he may not have the most beautiful voice in the world, but you can't deny the fact that it is unique, he is known for that. He combines a raspy, high pitched voice, along with an unimitatable accent, to create a unique voice. I have not heard someone that sounds like him, and he does not sound like your typical pop punk guy. I don't find his voice annoying at all, like some people, Ariana Grande and Chris Brown are far more annoying singers.

I would put him number 1, but since there are more legendary singers, I will put him here.

He isn't that popular, but he has a unique voice.

6 Janis Joplin Janis Joplin (1943-1970) was an American singer who rose to fame as the main singer of acid band Big Brother and the Holding Company. She was known for her eccentric hippie style and psychedelic rock music.

I never heard a voice like hers before, I am serious, I never heard anyone with her voice before. Not one of my favorite singers, but you can't deny the fact that her voice is unique. I decided to listen to one of her songs, and gosh, she has a voice that will never be heard again.
