Top 10 Best Schools In Malaysia
Although the term "Best School" is often regarded as a subjective topic, it cannot be denied that SMK Taman Setiawangsa has borne excellence among its students. Starting its legacy in 2009, this school has aged gracefully for the past nine years.
Carrying the motto "Beramal, Berilmu, Berbakti", SMK Taman Setiawangsa devotes its time and effort to help students develop their potential and guide them to the road of success. With the help of its devoted teachers and staff, this school has often been regarded as one of the best schools for all types of students, regardless of their background.
Despite being exposed to negative influences, SMKTSW has succeeded in maintaining balance and discipline among its students without sacrificing dignity and respect. This is thanks to the help of the ever-diligent board of prefects, "Menjalan Amanah", that has been entrusted upon them. Though lacking in various aspects, this school has the potential to be recognized as the best school in Malaysia.
Despite being in the middle of Old KL and exposed to the threat of all negative influences (e.g., gangsterism, drugs, clubbing, etc.), VI has managed to sustain and continuously achieve its purpose to develop students who are scholars, sportsmen, and gentlemen at the same time. Victorians' qualities can match those of other full-boarding premier schools.

I am from this school. Those days it was called Jalan Termeloh Girls School. The teachers are very dedicated, for example, Puan Janaki, Puan Bavanandan, and a very good accounts sir, whose name I could not remember, who would not give 100% marks even when you got all answers correct.

I attended St. Michael from 1965 to 1971. It had the best and most innovative physics and math teachers of any high school I know of. Later on, I went to college in the US and had a very accomplished career in the energy and nuclear industry.
In 1990, I won the President George H. W. Bush Energy Innovation Award from the US Department of Energy and the 1990 Florida Governor Energy Innovation Award in Tallahassee, Florida. I hold many US patents in the energy field. I received all my passion while I was at St. Michael's.
I am now sixty-six and am still very involved in the US energy industries, renewable energy, nuclear power, and fossil fuels. I also operate an education business to train US college and high school students in physics, advanced math, and engineering. St. Michael's is truly a jewel of a school.
The school has excellent teachers with a unique culture. In my opinion, from Form 1 to Form 3, I believe that this school is the best daily school. For Form 4 to Form 5, it is better to go somewhere else to further your study.
Being a Georgian brings memories that I'm sure no other school can offer. Apart from the academics, the KGV culture is unique. The curiosity in every student to know the history of the school is priceless, especially when we are not allowed to go to the clock tower.
Georgians are special. This school allows us to be ourselves without being judged. The teachers are amazing because they understand the students when they teach and do not just force the students to study. I had the best three years of middle school in KGV. Thank you, SMK King George V.
