Top Ten Star Wars Characters

The Top Ten

1 Darth Vader Darth Vader is a Star Wars character and the main antagonist of the first three original Star Wars films and the main protagonist of the Star Wars prequel trilogy under his original name Anakin Skywalker. He had been trained as a Jedi but defected to the Sith lord and Galactic Chancellor Palpatine. more.

When people think of guys in dark suits, there thoughts automatically go to Vader.

When people think of red lightsabers, Vader first comes to mind.

When people talk of Star Wars, Vader is always on top of that list.

Shows you how awesomely over rated the guy is. Kinda like Sephiroth except more realistic.

Hayden's portrayal of Anakin may not have been the best acting wise, but Anakin is by far the most three-dimensional character in the Star Wars saga (it's also confusing to me as to why Anakin and Darth Vader are separate people on this page...they are the same person; When Vader fulfills the prophecy and kills Darth Sidious to help his son, Anakin Skywalker arises once again). Anakin did everything for love. He lost his mother in possibly the most horrific way possible--he watched the light leave her eyes while she was in his arms. The guilt he felt for not being able to save her is what triggered the immense fear of loss that would eventually lead him to the Dark Side. In my opinion, Anakin was a character that was very easily manipulated but he had a good heart, and had good intentions. Good intentions do not excuse what he did, like killing the younger Jedi in the temple or choking his wife, but he is a very flawed person. And I guess that makes him very human, regardless of the ...more

He is the most badass guy to ever exist in the galaxy. I love his use of sarcasm.
My favourite Character.

What a cool villain. Even though he deserved his death, I wish he lived on.

2 Obi-Wan Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, played by Sir Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor.

Definitely my favourite Star Wars character, he delivers great in all 6 films. In episode 1 he defeats Darth Maul and fulfills his master's dying wish to train Anakin. In episode 2 he tracks down Padme's assassins, discovers the Clones for the Republic, finds the droid factories on Geonosis and fights Dooku. In episode 3 he rescues the Chancellor and fights Dooku with Anakin, kills Grievous and nearly kills Darth Vader too. He gives Luke to Vader's family on Tatooine and watches over him. In the original he disables the Death Star tractor beam and sacrifices himself for Luke and the others to escape. He acts as a spiritual guide to Luke, teaching him some about the Force and using a lightsaber. Both of Kenobi's actors were the best of any Star Wars actor in my opinion

come on he's suffered more than anyone else and still remains the calm and controlled mentor

Kenobi. He's just... Kenobi. He seems to be the character who ties everything together for me, from the peak days of the Republic to the end of the Republic and rise of the Empire. He seems to have gone through the most, lost his master, his apprentice and best friend, his lover, the people who treated him like family, and never strayed away from his belief in the Jedi.

And yes, Alec Guiness did his part well but wasn't invested in the character. Ewan McGregor seemed to relish playing in the role and he just is Kenobi to me.

The best. Hands down. The reason I watch Star Wars. In terms of loved characters by the fans he is clearly in the top three but I still think he is underrated.

3 Luke Skywalker Luke Skywalker is a fictional character appearing as the central protagonist of the original film trilogy, and as a supporting character in the sequel trilogy of the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas.

Luke Skywalker is a legendary character, he has a very interesting ark from a boy who has nothing and is not popular with the ways of the force, until he becomes literally the most powerful Jedi of any Star Wars universe ever. He literally has very limited training (In comparison to rey which has absolutely no training which makes no sense), and still manages to come up to become the most powerful Jedi ever. He is the Peter Parker (Spiderman) of the star wars universe.

I think it's a good thing he's whiney. There's supposed to be a resemblence between him and Anakin- always the grass is greener on the other side. Plus, in the fourth one, he's only what, seventeen? I think it adds to his character. And, on top of all that, he's supposed to be impatient when Yoda tries to trick him into thinking Yoda is an idiot. You see, Yoda was testing him. He obviously is like his father, so that's why they worry so much about him when he goes to face him. Also, I would be whiney too if I lived on a moisture farm and couldn't go out and see the world. Can't we all relate to this?

Might not be my favorite Jedi but he is the original main protagonist so he definitely deserves a spot high up in this list.

Definitely my favorite light side hero out of the Original Trilogy.

4 Han Solo Han Solo is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Harrison Ford. In the original film trilogy, Han and his co-pilot, Chewbacca, become involved in the Rebel Alliance which opposes the Galactic Empire.

Han solo my favorite character of star wars and in my opinion the best star wars character

I love his sarcastic humour. And that expression at the end of the return of the jedi: priceless!

Never was a huge Luke fan but Han Solo was always an amazing sidekick to root for

He has a realistic personality, and he has flaws, unlike Luke, which you could say being a jerk is a bad thing, but as long as you don't shove it down other peoples throat, it makes you more realistic.

5 Yoda Yoda is a fictional character in the Star Wars space opera franchise created by George Lucas, first appearing in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back.

Yoda is one of the few fictional characters I can look up to as inspirational. While he may be a great warrior, his best quality is his sage-like wisdom. This can be seen through numerous quotes, which can be applicable in real life, such as:

- "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed, that is."
- "Do, or do not. There is no try."
- "The greatest teacher, failure is."
- "Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter."
- "Truly wonderful the mind of a child is."

Yoda views the other Jedi as his family, and this is why he feels responsible for being unable to detect and stop Darth Sidious. However, he ultimately accepts that it is up to someone else to stop Sidious and that he has a duty to train them and pass down his wisdom.

Probably the wisest Jedi of all time having trained approximately 20,000 padawans in his days.

True source of wisdom and the nature of the Force that never fails to inspire me. Yoda (as well as Vader) are probably the reasons why ESB is widely considered to be the best Star Wars film.

Though some people here are wrong, Yoda was not the first Jedi... He is most certainly the most bad ass. As touching as his death scene was... I like to think the reason he kept coming back to say more things to Luke the way he did, was a bit of a joke on his part. As shown in "Empire" he was pretty much the only Jedi who liked to mess with people in a joking manner.

6 Darth Sidious Sheev Palpatine (also known by his Sith identity Darth Sidious and publicly as Senator Palpatine, then Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and later Emperor Palpatine) is a fictional character and one of the primary antagonists of the Star Wars franchise, mainly portrayed by Ian McDiarmid.

The Emperor is the best because he restored the Sith to their former glory that they had lost millenia ago. The execution of order 66 signaled the death of the Jedi Order and the rise of a grand new Sith Empire! The Sith were destined to fall apart into nothingness... but Palpatine rewrote history, rose from the ashes and built a kingdom. He did a lot of bad things though, I will admit, however and he shouldn't have listened to Tarkin about using fear to rule the people. Fear always works... until the rebellion rises...

he's creepy but cool in the rise of skywalker he's extremely creepy

If you thought Darth Vader was the real villain in the original trilogy, you were sure wrong. This Emperor is pretty much stronger and more evil than all star wars combined, in fact, he's pretty much the lord of all evil, and the most evil villain that was ever thought of by any franchise, making those like Thanos and Darkseid, look like heroes. If it weren't for him, Darth Vader wouldn't exist. This is how bad he is.

Mastermind behind each Galactic conflict in the series so far. Sheev basically serves as the embodiment of the Dark Side of the Force and is a truly frightening character. I also love how hammy he is, he just loves being evil.

7 R2-D2 R2-D2 or Artoo-Detoo is a fictional robot character in the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, who appears in the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy.

Swears so much that every line is bleeped out

A silent guardian. A watchful protector. R2-D2, ladies and gentlemen.

LOVE DA DUDE! But the sequels totally disrespect him. Also, want proof that he's the most iconic Star Wars character? Walk up to one of of your friends who doesn't know anything about Star Wars and say, "Name all the Star Wars characters you know." Chances are, R2-D2 and Darth Vader will be at the top of their list.

Since he's a droid people don't really look at how amazing he really is. He saved Padme in attack of there clones and if she died Luke and Leia wouldn't have been born, Anakin probably would've tuned bad sooner because he was mad his mom and the girl he likes died, and Obi-Wan was captured and Anakin and Padme wouldn't have been there. He also saved Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewy! They would have been smashed without him. R2 is awesome and smart!

8 Princess Leia Organa Princess Leia Organa, later known as General Leia Organa, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Carrie Fisher.

Luke: "The Force is strong in my family. My father has it... I have it... My sister, has it. Yes, Leia...It's you." How could this not be one of the most memorable scenes in Star Wars? What princess here has their own ship, (SPACE ship.) doesn't run away from the danger, is called a general, whose brother is one of the most good looking and most known in the whole universe, has the greatest hair, actually knows what a weapon looks like, has had the courage to fly into a "cave" that turned out to be a huge monster, killed an evil ugly looking warm (AKA: Jabba) is brave enough to confront Vader and not tell him important information and know she could be killed if not, AND still looks awesome while doing it!

Such a strong personality. she's a great princess and will always stay in our hearts

Great actor, great character, and definitely the best female character in the Star Wars universe.

Princess Leia is my favorite Star Wars character, yes I'm a girl. She's a good influence on girls, because she's both girly and brave, and shows that you can be both girly and brave at the same time. She's also funny and sarcastic, she's definitely different than your average princess. She's a leader, a lover, a friend so many, and very caring. No female character in Star Wars will ever take the place of Princess Leia. She's officially a Disney Princess now, too.

She is absolutely the best Star Wars character, and should be treated as such on this list. No female character COULD ever take the place on Princess Leia.

9 Chewbacca Chewbacca, nicknamed "Chewie", is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is a Wookiee, a tall, hirsute biped and intelligent species from the planet Kashyyyk. Chewbacca is the co-pilot of the Millenuim Falcon, and is best friends with Han Solo.

Chewbacca might not be a really powerful Jedi or anything but him being a Wookie is in my opinion really cool. I mean look at the guy, he is a giant hairy human with a blaster that looks like a crossbow so how could you not like him!

Never says a word of english and still manages to be one of the best characters

Nice place my dad was that he should be in force but he is a great character is in the corners revenge of the Sith a new Hope the Empire strikes back return of the Jedi the force awakens the last Jedi and the rise of Skywalker Chewbacca is your name is chewy and he’s his best and he is Han Solo’s best friend at first he tried to eat Hansel

I've heard that Chewbacca was based off of George Lucas's dog, Indiana, which was also the inspiration for the name Indiana Jones. also, chewbacca's voice is a mix of bears, lions, walruses, and badgers.

10 Darth Maul Darth Maul is a fictional character in the science fiction franchise Star Wars. Trained as Darth Sidious's first apprentice, he serves as a Sith Lord and a master of wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. Darth Maul first appeared in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, and has also appeared in The more.

Darth Maul was awesome he is the coolest looking character I have ever saw

The fact that he only has two scenes and is still top 10 shows how much everyone loves this character

I love Maul all around in both The Phantom Menace and in The Clone Wars.

He's a little bit too creepy for me, but still a pretty swell guy.

The Newcomers

? Durge

11 Boba Fett Boba Fett is a fictional character in the Star Wars series. In The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, he is a bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader and also employed by Jabba the Hutt.

He is a classic character and the best bounty hunter. I think he should be #6

With 4 lines of dialogue and a badass looking suit of armor, he is one of the best looking and most well scripted villain in Star Wars. He was the reason that Han Solo was captured! One of the biggest plot points in the movies! Everybody praises Jango Fett yet he was a remake of Boba (since the prequels came after the originals). Also Jango never really DID anything besides fight. He killed some lame secondary characters and stuff, and Boba would've done that too given that there were more than just one Jedi. Jango couldn't even take down a young Obi-Wan... Boba stood up to Vader and made such a good reputation for himself. His death scene was bull though...

Boba Fett hardly did anything in the movies and he killed no one, unlike Jango Fett

He was great in Empire, the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter and a worthy right-hand man to Vader. Wish we got to see more of him in the films, Sarlacc should get indigestion and spit him out.

Originally he was overrated but then someone said he was overrated so then people agreed and he became underrated but then some people disagreed and now he's middleratted. Damn I'm good - Unnamed Google User Remade

12 Kylo Ren Kyle Ren is a fictional Sith lord, who is strong with the Force. Kylo Ren commands the First Order with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber. His debut was in 2015's Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Ren's real identity is Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia. He was trained more.

Kylo Ren should definitely outrank Maul, R2-D2, and the dead guy Han Solo. Kylo Ren added a much needed emotional weight to episode 7. Instead of having a one-dimensional villain like Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace; JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan created a unique character that people could connect with. A perfect analogy that expresses who Vader is in relation to Kylo Ren is who Superman is in relation of Spiderman. Superman can do anything he wants. He has all the powers, and can now survive death. Spiderman I believe is the peak of what a relatable character should be. He was basically a nerd who was a superhero. Darth Vader could do anything with the force in the original trilogy. Darth Vader could survive multiple things, and no one knew how to defeat him. Kylo Ren is also a relatable character. One could already see the past of Kylo Ren. One can already speculate how emotional and vulnerable Kylo Ren is. What is also very interesting about his character is that he is going ...more

He has one of the COOLEST character in the whole series. While Vader will always be the original villain who turns right before the end, Ben Solo comes back and kills the knights of Ren, helps Rey destroy Palpatine, and then gives his life to her. Overall, one of the best characters in the series.

I see him making this list after Episode 9 ending. I see a potential in him to outrank Darth Vader. I believe Disney won't spoil such an interesting character with flat, conventional solution and won't change him into one-dimensional villain. His indecision, unpredictability, blind faith, kind of fanaticism, unstable character, not fully controlled, but amazing powers, vulnerability, Darth Vader's complex... I can say without end. He gave more internal tear in 15 minutes of screen time, something Anakin didn't do in three movies. Let Kylo be Anakin as Star Wars deserves.

Kylo is definitely one of my favorite Star Wars characters ever. I love him

13 Mace Windu Mace Windu is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, portrayed by actor Samuel L. Jackson in the prequel films.

This guy beat Darth Sidious. If it weren't for Anakin he'd have saved the republic.

He is very skilled indeed, but Sidious did lose on purpose do get Anakin to join the dark side. Look at how he fought against Yoda. Yoda is way harder to fight, he's stronger with the force and 2 feet and jumping around. I know the clone wars is animated but he completely destroyed maul and savage and lifted them and tossed them around with ease. But I do like Mace

Purple light saber. Samuel L Jackson. Beat Palpatine. Top 3 Jedi

Mace windu is the dopest must wise and most badass jedi of all time

He BEAT the most powerful Sith lord of all time, Darth Sidious, and Sidious DIDN'T throw the fight.

14 General Grievous General Grievous is a fictional character and antagonist in the Star Wars franchise. He served as the Supreme Commander of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Droid Armies during the Clone Wars.

Grievous is probably the most infamous Jedi killer in the galaxy, complete with a murderous cybernetic wheeze that established himself the Vader before Vader became Vader. He is the villainous cyborg of the Clone Wars and the architect of the war atrocities of the Separatist alliance, and altogether very underrated in my opinion. Each lightsaber he collects is a trophy; a testament to all the Jedi he has slain in battle.

He is an unstoppable beast in Clone Wars and expanded material. He's less intimidating in TCW and ROTS, but still an overall fun character with a strong presence. Also literally everything this hulking mechanical monstrosity says becomes a meme and I'm all here for it.

One of the most memorable characters from one of the best Star Wars movies, Revenge of the Sith

Most sympathetic Star Wars villain (yeah I'm looking at you Anakin). Also the coolest looking character. Never reached his full potential.

He looked like a badass in his one movie appearance, but his character was done a disservice in Revenge of the Sith. In his real introduction to the Star Wars universe, the 2003 animated Clone Wars, he was more of a juggernaut than Darth Vader, taking on six jedi at once with ease and single handedly kidnapping Palpatine from Coruscant. And his backstory is downright tragic, making him far more than the shallow and stereotypical villain he appears to be. I don't hesitate to say he's my favorite character in Star Wars.

15 Rey Rey is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed by British actress Daisy Ridley. First appearing as the central character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey is a scavenger who was left behind on the planet Jakku when she was a child, and later becomes involved with the Resistance's more.

Rey is incredible. She is cool. Compliment to Daisy Ridley for the incredible acting by the way. Her story fascinated me. As a child she was left on Jakku, and got herself through until the age of 19 at which she leaves with Finn and the Millennium Falcon. She is a great pilot, even though no one taught her. She constantly keeps proving that she can be better than somebody, especially the guys. She leaves without her parents ever returning, and starts fighting alongside the Resistance. Also she had some other personal lows, like when Finn tried to leave, and I think she does like him, either as a friend, or maybe as something else, I don't know. Later she is kidnapped by Ren and gets out by herself, minutes later she watches Han Solo die and is devastated. Then Finn falls into a coma, she has to fight Ren, and get away. Later she has to leave Finn again, and considering that she whispers "We'll see each other again. I feel it. Thank you, my friend." as she kisses him on the ...more

She is just overpowered and so cool, coolest being in the cinematic series. Giving all my thanks to Daisy Ridley, the best actor

She is the single most amazing character in the whole saga. She is SO cool and a serious bad A. She is flippin amazing and should at least be in the top 5. How can any person say that she is terribly written? She is the dang main character! How is she supposed to not succeed? Sure She succeeds a lot, but even with her success she still has a very mysterious past and was literally left on a planet by herself, still managing to survive! She succeeds out of pure talent, smarts, and maybe a little bit of luck. She is literally the coolest person to ever! I mean have you seen the new Star Wars trailer? She flippin backups onto a plane. Tell me that's not amazing?! Overall I personally love Rey and give Daisy Ridley credit for her amazing acting skills and raw talent.

Rey's character is phenomenally written. Depicted as the next Luke Skywalker while having an incredibly mysterious past is excellent screen writing. Rey is easily the most relate-able character in the whole series as a complete no body who posses the powers of the Force. That makes Star Wars so much more real and can make any kid dream of having the force. Also the claim that she is a Mary Sue is completely wrong. She is not perfect. One of the biggest flaws that any character has is in Rey always wanting to find the answer to her parents. There is plenty more I could write about Rey but she is one of my favorite characters in the whole series and I can not wait to see her in IX.

16 C-3PO

Best comic relief in the series. A perfect example of how to make a character annoying to the other characters while still adding to the viewing experience. Take notes, Jar Jar.

I can't say he is my favorite, but this guy seriously needs more attention. Vader (after Anakin turned to the dark side) never notices him. Neither does any other villain. On the light side, when they give him attention, they do for five seconds max (unless you count R2-D2). For all his intelligence, he needs to be way higher

C-3PO is hilarious and magnificent!

He is my husband. And seriously the best character ever. He is smart and dumb at the same time, and he is very funny. "You probably didn't recognize me because of my red arm."!

17 Qui-Gon Jinn Qui-Gon Jinn is a fictional character in the Star Wars saga, portrayed by Liam Neeson and is one of the main protagonists in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

For years, (and I do mean years. Like, 10) Qui-Gon Jinn was my favorite Star Wars character EVER! He was smart, capable, talented, and had a fantastic understanding and link to the Force. He may never have been on the council, but I believe that was because he saw the flaws in it. He never allowed himself to become complacent, and I think that was why Darth Maul killed him, knowing he would be a threat if he were allowed to live. Liam Neeson was the perfect man for this role, and he performed so well! Qui-Gon is still one of my favorites, and always will be!

His death was the key to both dooku and anakin turning to the darkside. Had he lived, they would have remained jedi.

I honestly do not think Episode I was awful. I thought it was quite good in fact. And the best thing about it was Qui-Gon Jinn. He may be my favourite character.

I think is wasn't that awful to I thought it was quit good to but it was not the best star wars movie but the movie was not bad. I think that all star wars movies are great I'm a really big star wars fan/star wars nerd

He discovered anakin is the chosen one. If he didn't die. Things would have changed drastically. Dooku wouldn't have turned to the darkside. Anakin would be qui gons padawan. This could lead to order 66 never happening, because the clones would be discovered sooner. Palpatine being revealed sooner. Anakin asking him for advice to save padme, as qui gon would allow the marriage. Qui-gons way of thinking was what would have saved the universe.

18 Jango Fett Jango Fett is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, created by George Lucas. He made his debut in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, where he was portrayed by actor Temuera Morrison.

Better than Boba. He was an amazing warrior and the clone template.

Without him there would be no Clone Troopers. No Clone Troopers = No Order 66 = The Dark Side doesn't reign supreme. The Empire would be nothing without him.

I could vote for him or boba, ones a clone of the other

Everybody hates him but I think he's pretty cool

19 Lando Calrissian Lando Calrissian is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is portrayed by Billy Dee Williams in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and will be played by Donald Glover in the upcoming standalone Han Solo Star Wars movie.

This guy needs more attention. He was a pretty important character in the Original Trilogy, but he's always in the shadow of other characters like Vader, Luke, Han, and Leia. I think it's because he's not in ANH.

I love this dude. We needed that shady, smooth gangster that is also a really true friend.

He should of been in the new force awakens movie.

He is mabe a clone and really cool... The end

20 Ahsoka Tano Ahsoka Tano is a character in the Star Wars franchise. Introduced as the Padawan apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, she is a central protagonist of both the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the subsequent TV series.

One of the best and most fleshed out characters in the whole franchise. We basically got to see the whole journey of her growing up. And many of us fans grew up along side her. A beautiful coming of age story. Her last scene in Clone Wars season 7 kills me. There is no character more relatable. She was that kid fighting to find her place in the world. She made mistakes. She faced hardships, lost friends, struggled with authority. She made her own family out of her friends. She is that kid that we all were. Seeing her reach her full potential is one of the most satisfying things in all Star Wars.

Ahsoka Tano is a brave, quick, independent, stubborn, interesting, a not human protagonist, beautiful, intelligent, snippy, growing female character that the franchise needed. Ahsoka is a special character because she is one of the only former/Jedi to see the faults of the council and the jedi order. She is one of the impacts good or bad on Anakin’s life on being basically his adopted daughter or little sister. Ahsoka Tano is innocent yet strong in the clone wars, having still been a child when she was leading troops and not afraid to speak up to her master unlike most other padawans. Ahsoka Tano is basically the icon of the two sabers, and the white colored sabers. Ahsoka Tano is my favorite female character because she has the beautiful character development a character needs, and is so independent compared to the other female characters in star was.

I love Ahsoka because she is more independent and different than all the other female characters.

A beautifully crafted character! One of the best written out of the whole saga.

21 Padme Padmé Amidala is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in the prequel trilogy portrayed by actress Natalie Portman.

Her being pregnant is what caused almost everything from episode 3 onward.

Sure, Padme's romance with Anakin is unconvincing. But she is good when she is by herself. A great aspiration for women.

Padme is superior to Leia in my opinion and one of my favorite characters in Star Wars. For one she is far more beautiful than Leia could ever be and is the best looking female character to ever exist. She is tougher than Leia too as she has the durability advantage such as she fell on her back from 300 feet and was only knocked out for a minute and is taller and stronger. She was so physically and mentally powerful that she survived battles that even Jedi knight and masters died in. Overall she should be in the top 5.

Very strong, independent, and intelligent woman being a Queen just at 14 years old. She also has fallen off of ships and while she was stunned it appeared to not even damage her but it killed the clone trooper with armor on which proves how durable her body is. She was also choked by her husband which did not kill her as she was medically healthy. She was also heavily pregnant so that's the reason she fell unconscious. It's also fair to note that Jedi/Sith aren't powerful against superheroes, etc. as Darth Vader has taken minutes to strangle imperial officers and couldn't kill Motti in a New Hope. This shows that Vader's choke is no trouble for Padme especially if it was Ep.2 Padme. Padme is also extremely fast being an peak human to the point where she is as fast as Anakin who augments his speed to superhuman levels. She is also extremely intelligent and has an IQ possibly well over 200. She can outthink any opponent. She is great with an blaster never missing. Since force users ...more

22 Finn FN-2187 (Finn) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens in which he is a stormtrooper for the First Order who flees and turns against it after being shocked by their cruelty in his first combat mission. He is portrayed by English more.

I think Finn is my favorite new addition to the Star Wars roster. He is well acted and has good synergy with the rest of the cast. Unfortunately, he suffers from having his arch rushed for the sake of the plot. For me a characters actions must stem from their stated motivations. In the film his defection from the First Order comes about really quickly and isn't well explained. This guy is presumably indoctrinated to believe the First Order are the good guys and and Resistance is some kind of terrorist organization. So when in the first scene his friend is killed by armed villagers harboring a fugitive, I don't know understand why that garners sympathy for the villagers from him. Yeah, they went on the massacre the villagers after that. I don't know if he left because he didn't like killing people or because he was afraid of being shot like his friend. Cause if it is either of those things then it makes no sense why he is so cavalier about killing scores of the people he ...more

My favorite character of all-time and the best new character as well. He has tons of personalities tat I relate to and this character is so awesome that we got to see the first stormtrooper express his own feelings and change sides. This character will develop as well in the series. Finn will be the galaxy's hero forever.

He has so much potential to becoming a Jedi. I hope they do make him one too.

I felt bad for him at the beginning at the movie. He was great, but I will not tell spoilers

23 BB-8 BB-8 or Beebee-Ate is a droid character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Guys come on this is BB-8 we're talking about. VOTE for BB-8. Best droid is the world please VOTE for BB-8.

BB8 has maximum screen time in The Force Awakens and yes it is adorable. It gets all the awww moments. It's like a new pet who loves everything he sees.

I wanna build my own BB-8!

He's so awesome!

24 Kit Fisto Kit Fisto Is a Jedi from the Star Wars universe who appeared in Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge Of the Sith, and also appeared in the TV show, Star Wars the Clone Wars,

I Always liked kit fisto and his awesomeness was done no justice in revenge of the sith

The coolest of any of the background characters. The Clone Wars T.V. show expands on many of the initial background characters, including Kit Fisto.

Such a cool, laid-back character. my older brother's favourite and he fought against darth sidious ten times as long as two of his fellow council members (them being killed immediately and all). definitely deserves top 15.

This guy looks sick and is one of those background characters that seem whatever but end up doing more.

25 Ezra Bridger

Ezra's started off as a street rat and turned into a noble jedi fighting for the rebellion. Overall his achievements in the war and especially his special encounters with the force built a good story around his character.

He has a lightsaber that doubles as a blaster. Enough said.

He is one of the best

He almost killed the inquisitor but Kanan finished it
