Top Ten Star Wars Characters

The Top Ten

1 Darth Vader Darth Vader Darth Vader was the original dark lord for Star Wars. Darth Vader ruled with both fear and aggression. Originally Anakin Skywalker a young Jedi who was then seduced by the dark side of the force by Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious. Vader had his limbs cut off by his jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi leaving more.

When people think of guys in dark suits, there thoughts automatically go to Vader.

When people think of red lightsabers, Vader first comes to mind.

When people talk of Star Wars, Vader is always on top of that list.

Shows you how awesomely over rated the guy is. Kinda like Sephiroth except more realistic. - sapphirewhirlwind

Maybe the most stereotypical character in the saga, but definitely the coolest one

I'm talking about Legends Vader. He was a lot more ruthless and unforgiving. - Roach

He was a complex and sad character

2 Obi-Wan Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, played by Sir Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor.

Definitely my favourite Star Wars character, he delivers great in all 6 films. In episode 1 he defeats Darth Maul and fulfills his master's dying wish to train Anakin. In episode 2 he tracks down Padme's assassins, discovers the Clones for the Republic, finds the droid factories on Geonosis and fights Dooku. In episode 3 he rescues the Chancellor and fights Dooku with Anakin, kills Grievous and nearly kills Darth Vader too. He gives Luke to Vader's family on Tatooine and watches over him. In the original he disables the Death Star tractor beam and sacrifices himself for Luke and the others to escape. He acts as a spiritual guide to Luke, teaching him some about the Force and using a lightsaber. Both of Kenobi's actors were the best of any Star Wars actor in my opinion

I think he is the best because he cares about other before himself, like in episode 4 when he disables the Death Star tractor beam and sacrifices himself for Luke and the others to escape.

He is like what a jedi would have to be

Obi-Wan Kenobi: never quite the hero of his own story but always a quiet counterpoint and stabilizing influence of another's, he is one of the most subtly nuanced, genuinely good, and ultimately tragic characters in the Star Wars series. He does his duty, he tries his hardest, he is celebrated and remembered for his serenity and wisdom, though when necessary he can be cunning and even ruthless. The prequels also show us that Obi-Wan too can fall victim to the same human weaknesses which cost Anakin Skywalker dearly. Love blinds him to Anakin's fall; attachment prevents him from killing Vader on Mustafar. The difference between the two of them is that Obi-Wan's inner strength allows him to carry on and keep hope for the future, even when faced with the loss of everything he's ever known and almost everyone he's ever cared for. That is what makes him a great man and a fascinating character.

5 Yoda Yoda Yoda is a fictional character in the Star Wars space opera franchise created by George Lucas, first appearing in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back.

Yoga is strong and really funny

Bro, Yoda is 900 years old, and, if you haven't seen the Last Jedi, can summon lightning! LIGHTNING! Not Sith Lightning, but actual lightning. OK. Enough about the lightning. He faced Sidious unafraid, and is just overall on of the best quote characters in the galaxy. If I had to complain about 1 thing, it would be his CGI in Phantom Menace and Last Jedi. They were just crap.

He is very smart

6 R2-D2 R2-D2 R2-D2 or Artoo-Detoo is a fictional robot character in the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, who appears in the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy.

Swears so much that every line is bleeped out

Since he's a droid people don't really look at how amazing he really is. He saved Padme in attack of there clones and if she died Luke and Leia wouldn't have been born, Anakin probably would've tuned bad sooner because he was mad his mom and the girl he likes died, and Obi-Wan was captured and Anakin and Padme wouldn't have been there. He also saved Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewy! They would have been smashed without him. R2 is awesome and smart! - hollyeb13

He s my favorite by far there is no star wars character that could be better than r2-d2

Okay let me get started...he saved PADME in 2 (Attack Of The Clones) and if he didn't luke and leia wouldn't have been born and darth vader would have never turned good. Think about what would have happened if Luke and Leia weren't in it?

7 Chewbacca Chewbacca Chewbacca, nicknamed "Chewie", is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is a Wookiee, a tall, hirsute biped and intelligent species from the planet Kashyyyk. Chewbacca is the co-pilot of the Millenuim Falcon, and is best friends with Han Solo.

Chewbacca is so cute! He is one of my favorite characters from Star Wars... - Onepatch

Chewbacca is the best and the most loved of star wars fans all over the world including me. Chewbacca the best.

I think that chewie is the best! He is so courageous, but gentle at the same time, and he has an awesome Wookiee crossbow blaster!

I've heard that Chewbacca was based off of George Lucas's dog, Indiana, which was also the inspiration for the name Indiana Jones. also, chewbacca's voice is a mix of bears, lions, walruses, and badgers.

8 Princess Leia Organa Princess Leia Organa Princess Leia Organa, later known as General Leia Organa, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Carrie Fisher.

Luke: "The Force is strong in my family. My father has it... I have it... My sister, has it. Yes, Leia...It's you." How could this not be one of the most memorable scenes in Star Wars? What princess here has their own ship, (SPACE ship.) doesn't run away from the danger, is called a general, whose brother is one of the most good looking and most known in the whole universe, has the greatest hair, actually knows what a weapon looks like, has had the courage to fly into a "cave" that turned out to be a huge monster, killed an evil ugly looking warm (AKA: Jabba) is brave enough to confront Vader and not tell him important information and know she could be killed if not, AND still looks awesome while doing it!

The original waifu - Fat_Turtle_Gamez

Princess Leia is my favorite Star Wars character, yes I'm a girl. She's a good influence on girls, because she's both girly and brave, and shows that you can be both girly and brave at the same time. She's also funny and sarcastic, she's definitely different than your average princess. She's a leader, a lover, a friend so many, and very caring. No female character in Star Wars will ever take the place of Princess Leia. She's officially a Disney Princess now, too.

She is absolutely the best Star Wars character, and should be treated as such on this list. No female character COULD ever take the place on Princess Leia. - Cry_For_Carrie_Fisher

No females in the top ten, huh? I think the daughter of the Jedi deserves to be at least #10 - shouldn't Vader and Anakin be the same?

9 Darth Maul Darth Maul Darth Maul is a fictional character in the science fiction franchise Star Wars. Trained as Darth Sidious's first apprentice, he serves as a Sith Lord and a master of wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. Darth Maul first appeared in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, and has also appeared in The more.

Double lightsaber, need I say more.

The best character in the prequels, by far. No question. He was the one to pioneer different lightsabers as a whole: we might not have gotten Dooku, Kylo Ren, or countless future others. He made the phantom menace a little less painful. - Fat_Turtle_Gamez

Here is my top ten:

10. C-3PO
9. Anakin Skywalker
8. R2-D2
7. Yoda
6. Qui-Gon Jinn
5. Darth Vader
4. Darth Maul

Boba fett is my other favorite star wars character I've been a huge star wars fan it reminds me of he-man and transformers and I'm planning on wanting there to a crossover of it and transformers that can be comic book series and I believe that boba fett is alive

Boba fett is a cool star wars character and I believe he was just following orders and I know he was in star wars droids and he would join other bounty hunters and lead and I can hope for there to be new action figures comic books and cartoon show of him

The Contenders

11 Anakin Skywalker Anakin Skywalker Anakin Skywalker is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He appears in the original trilogy as a main and pivotal antagonist serving the Galactic Empire, while his past as Anakin Skywalker and the story of his corruption are the focus of the prequel trilogy.

Hayden's portrayal of Anakin may not have been the best acting wise, but Anakin is by far the most three-dimensional character in the Star Wars saga (it's also confusing to me as to why Anakin and Darth Vader are separate people on this page...they are the same person; When Vader fulfills the prophecy and kills Darth Sidious to help his son, Anakin Skywalker arises once again). Anakin did everything for love. He lost his mother in possibly the most horrific way possible--he watched the light leave her eyes while she was in his arms. The guilt he felt for not being able to save her is what triggered the immense fear of loss that would eventually lead him to the Dark Side. In my opinion, Anakin was a character that was very easily manipulated but he had a good heart, and had good intentions. Good intentions do not excuse what he did, like killing the younger Jedi in the temple or choking his wife, but he is a very flawed person. And I guess that makes him very human, regardless of the ...more

They already said him.

People don't give him enough credit, but this character had some of the best dialogue and scenes in the entire franchise. Hayden was able to pull of great emotion with just a look, and he portrayed the characters fall exponentially well. Was he whiny? Yes, but he was also a teenager who was looked down upon by the entire order, treated like a child at 19 by his master, and yew knew his skills were beyond anyone elses. Then he has to witness his own mother die. As for the complaint about him falling to quickly, that was a huge build up, as we saw since Phantom (you can see even as a child, he had anger when the Jedi council spoke down to him). As for why he fell the way he did, he was being told by someone how the Sith and Jedi are not that different, then witnesses one of the masters do exactly what a sith would do. At that point, everything he had learned from the order appeared to be nothing but a lie to him, so it makes sense why he fell.

I now know where Luke gets his good looks. But, that's beyond the point. Fact is, Luke and Anakin are alike in so many ways. They have so much in common. They both think highly of themselves and have confidence. They're pride may be one of the many reasons that they are subdued to the dark side (speciffically the fact that they under estimate the power of the Emperor.) Why do you think Luke wanted to be a pilot all his life? Same thing with Rey. Obviously they both have mechanical hands. Plus, Luke is always really pushy. Anakin always got angry with people. Just like Luke. They're both very very impatient. But, then again, how would you feel if you lost everyone who cared about you? For instance: Luke lost Obi-Wan, his aunt and uncle who raised him, and his father. While Anakin lost: His mother, his wife, his children, AND his trust from the jedi council. How could you possibly not know that they're related? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

He's so old

His spot in empire just is great. - Fat_Turtle_Gamez

If you thought Darth Vader was the real villain in the original trilogy, you were sure wrong. This Emperor is pretty much stronger and more evil than all star wars combined, in fact, he's pretty much the lord of all evil, and the most evil villain that was ever thought of by any franchise, making those like Thanos and Darkseid, look like heroes. If it weren't for him, Darth Vader wouldn't exist. This is how bad he is.

Palpatine Is Plain Villainous, He Even betrayed Darth Plageius He Nearly Killed Several Jedi Even Though he Killed many The Main Antagonist In the series is More Evil Than You Thonk.

13 Kylo Ren Kylo Ren Kyle Ren is a fictional Sith lord, who is strong with the Force. Kylo Ren commands the First Order with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber. His debut was in 2015's Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Ren's real identity is Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia. He was trained more.

Kylo Ren should definitely outrank Maul, R2-D2, and the dead guy Han Solo. Kylo Ren added a much needed emotional weight to episode 7. Instead of having a one-dimensional villain like Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace; JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan created a unique character that people could connect with. A perfect analogy that expresses who Vader is in relation to Kylo Ren is who Superman is in relation of Spiderman. Superman can do anything he wants. He has all the powers, and can now survive death. Spiderman I believe is the peak of what a relatable character should be. He was basically a nerd who was a superhero. Darth Vader could do anything with the force in the original trilogy. Darth Vader could survive multiple things, and no one knew how to defeat him. Kylo Ren is also a relatable character. One could already see the past of Kylo Ren. One can already speculate how emotional and vulnerable Kylo Ren is. What is also very interesting about his character is that he is going ...more

I think Kylo and Rey are Siblings! Tell me I'm right and help reboot my self-esteem? - oceanbreezetheawesomewarrior

I see him making this list after Episode 9 ending. I see a potential in him to outrank Darth Vader. I believe Disney won't spoil such an interesting character with flat, conventional solution and won't change him into one-dimensional villain. His indecision, unpredictability, blind faith, kind of fanaticism, unstable character, not fully controlled, but amazing powers, vulnerability, Darth Vader's complex... I can say without end. He gave more internal tear in 15 minutes of screen time, something Anakin didn't do in three movies. Let Kylo be Anakin as Star Wars deserves.

Spoilers: A villain that is cool and badass, but is also a very compelling character unlike Maul or Dooku. He is new, fresh and unique amongst the Sith Lords and other Star Wars villains in that he is the first to display real vulnerability and internal emotional conflict from the start. He is more of a rival to the main protagonists, because he is like the protagonists in that he is not flawless or also some unstoppable warrior. Couldn't be happier with the direction they're taking with this character and was easily my favourite in the Force Awakens.

Has a lot of funny lines, also he looks cool

I can't say he is my favorite, but this guy seriously needs more attention. Vader (after Anakin turned to the dark side) never notices him. Neither does any other villain. On the light side, when they give him attention, they do for five seconds max (unless you count R2-D2). For all his intelligence, he needs to be way higher - MusicMovieMinecraftMe

Samuel Jackson - SharkWithAHat

This guy beat Darth Sidious. If it weren't for Anakin he'd have saved the republic.

He is very skilled indeed, but Sidious did lose on purpose do get Anakin to join the dark side. Look at how he fought against Yoda. Yoda is way harder to fight, he's stronger with the force and 2 feet and jumping around. I know the clone wars is animated but he completely destroyed maul and savage and lifted them and tossed them around with ease. But I do like Mace - bumsterdumster

Darth sidious is the same thing as emperor palpatine!

Why are Sidious and Palpatine separate here. There the same person

But, if Darth Sidious wasn't on the dark side in the first place there is a great chance Anakin would have never turned bad and Darth Sidious would have never put lightning on Luke. Darth Vader would have been already good, not burned, (Padme still would have died) so Luke wouldn't have to go through pain to turn Darth Vader good again.

COME ON! He's the same as Palpatine! Next I'm gonna see Ben Kenobi at a different spot than Obi Wan! This just takes up space.

18 Rey Rey Rey is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed by British actress Daisy Ridley. First appearing as the central character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey is a scavenger who was left behind on the planet Jakku when she was a child, and later becomes involved with the Resistance's more.

Rey's character is phenomenally written. Depicted as the next Luke Skywalker while having an incredibly mysterious past is excellent screen writing. Rey is easily the most relate-able character in the whole series as a complete no body who posses the powers of the Force. That makes Star Wars so much more real and can make any kid dream of having the force. Also the claim that she is a Mary Sue is completely wrong. She is not perfect. One of the biggest flaws that any character has is in Rey always wanting to find the answer to her parents. There is plenty more I could write about Rey but she is one of my favorite characters in the whole series and I can not wait to see her in IX.

She is the single most amazing character in the whole saga. She is SO cool and a serious bad A. She is flippin amazing and should at least be in the top 5. How can any person say that she is terribly written? She is the dang main character! How is she supposed to not succeed? Sure She succeeds a lot, but even with her success she still has a very mysterious past and was literally left on a planet by herself, still managing to survive! She succeeds out of pure talent, smarts, and maybe a little bit of luck. She is literally the coolest person to ever! I mean have you seen the new Star Wars trailer? She flippin backups onto a plane. Tell me that's not amazing?! Overall I personally love Rey and give Daisy Ridley credit for her amazing acting skills and raw talent.

Rey is a poorly written character, is simply overpowered and far too competent in every single way. If Rey were Male the character would be getting similar feedback from those who dislike the character (Think Anakin Skywalker the phantom menace - very small fan base)

Some suggest gender is an issue no one I know has any issue with Rey being female (Leia,Helen Ripley Jyn Erso and many more female leads are celebrated there is no issue because they have flaws, there is character development and a reason to keep watching) several women I know dislike the ridiculous hyper-competent Rey because there is nothing to get behind or invest in.

If a character has no flaws there is no journey to take with the character because everything or anything they encounter is overcome with consummate ease which made several people just switch off.

Why invest time in a character who can do absolutely everything brilliantly? why invest in a character who has no learning curve ...more

How is she all the way down here in 18th place! Rey is NOT a Mary Sue! She is not "terribly written"! Does she succeed a lot? Yes. However, she has problems with her past and has made mistakes. It is necessary for the hero to succeed in a story. Look deeper into her character

I honestly do not think Episode I was awful. I thought it was quite good in fact. And the best thing about it was Qui-Gon Jinn. He may be my favourite character. - BKAllmighty

I think is wasn't that awful to I thought it was quit good to but it was not the best star wars movie but the movie was not bad. I think that all star wars movies are great I'm a really big star wars fan/star wars nerd - jangofettisthebest

QUi gon Jin and tpm were awesome Qui gon is so athletic

Awesome character. He is in the best star wars movie along with jar jar binks. Qui-Gon is one of those characters where you could take him out of the movie and in the later movies darkness would win. He even discovered the chosen one. He kind of plays by his own rules. Without him Luke never would've been trained to be a jedi because with out GUI-Gon Obi-Wan would've never been trained and if Obi-Wan was never traine then Luke never would've been trained. Qui-Gon Jinn should be number one.

He was just oblivious that Anakin would turn evil because he was a Jedi almost soley connected to the living force, or what is happening at present, while obi wan's strong point was in the universal, as in visions. Perhaps that's why Anakin had those visions, he was taught to listen to the universal force because he had no influence from the crèche prior of either of the forces. Maybe if Qui Gon had been the one to train him he would have not turned to the dark side. But maybe that's just me.

22 Finn Finn FN-2187 (Finn) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens in which he is a stormtrooper for the First Order who flees and turns against it after being shocked by their cruelty in his first combat mission. He is portrayed by English more.

I think Finn is my favorite new addition to the Star Wars roster. He is well acted and has good synergy with the rest of the cast. Unfortunately, he suffers from having his arch rushed for the sake of the plot. For me a characters actions must stem from their stated motivations. In the film his defection from the First Order comes about really quickly and isn't well explained. This guy is presumably indoctrinated to believe the First Order are the good guys and and Resistance is some kind of terrorist organization. So when in the first scene his friend is killed by armed villagers harboring a fugitive, I don't know understand why that garners sympathy for the villagers from him. Yeah, they went on the massacre the villagers after that. I don't know if he left because he didn't like killing people or because he was afraid of being shot like his friend. Cause if it is either of those things then it makes no sense why he is so cavalier about killing scores of the people he ...more

I really like making up characters for books and T.V. shows and movies and such. A few years before the latest movies, I made up a character who was once a stormtrooper but started helping the rebel alliance. There were two major differences between Finn and my character! 1. I made the character a girl beacsue I thought it would be different. 2. her name was F1ght3r or Fighter!

I'm only 15 so Star wars the force awakens and The Last Jedi (and whatever number 9 is called), are the movies I'm going to grow up with and I love these movies but my Favourite new character Is easily Finn. Him being a Stormtrooper and chosing to leave is an amazing concept of a character and him try to leave in the lst Jedi really shows what kind of a character he really is. Plus, am I the only person who was on the edge of their seat when Finn was going to crash into that big laser cannon thingy, Thank god that stupid rose chick saved him. Can not wait to see what happens to him in Star wars 9.

My favorite character of all-time and the best new character as well. 24 Padme

She is underrated

Padme is superior to Leia in my opinion and one of my favorite characters in Star Wars. For one she is far more beautiful than Leia could ever be and is the best looking female character to ever exist. She is tougher than Leia too as she has the durability advantage such as she fell on her back from 300 feet and was only knocked out for a minute and is taller and stronger. She was so physically and mentally powerful that she survived battles that even Jedi knight and masters died in. Overall she should be in the top 5.

Very strong, independent, and intelligent woman being a Queen just at 14 years old. She also has fallen off of ships and while she was stunned it appeared to not even damage her but it killed the clone trooper with armor on which proves how durable her body is. She was also choked by her husband which did not kill her as she was medically healthy. She was also heavily pregnant so that's the reason she fell unconscious. It's also fair to note that Jedi/Sith aren't powerful against superheroes, etc. as Darth Vader has taken minutes to strangle imperial officers and couldn't kill Motti in a New Hope. This shows that Vader's choke is no trouble for Padme especially if it was Ep.2 Padme. Padme is also extremely fast being an peak human to the point where she is as fast as Anakin who augments his speed to superhuman levels. She is also extremely intelligent and has an IQ possibly well over 200. She can outthink any opponent. She is great with an blaster never missing. Since force users ...more

She was extremely tough, smart and an extremely beautiful and attractive woman. She survived battles Jedi could not have and survived blows capable of killing the average person. He then still went to stop the sith emperor, but was forced to turn against the republic, the organisation he had spent years protecting, through sheer luck he was pulled away from the dark side, and though he resisted its pull again, he was forced to kill his friend, the one who had helped and assisted him since they were both Palawans, and who had only been following his teachings, he was forced to leave his wife and child behind in a desperate attempt to stop the emperor from invading the republic, willing to give his life just to slow him down, he was betrayed, losing his closest ally, failing at his greatest moment, and spending 300 years being tortured and having his mind ripped apart, but even then, his dedication never faltered, manipulating the mind of the most powerful being in the ...more

He is the most badass sith/Jedi there was

Revan should top this list because of many factors, but in particular it is his devotion to protecting the galaxy, he defied all odds and authority, and constantly destroyed anyone who stopped him, while constantly being torn apart, losing his morality in the mandalorian wars, attacking the republic to save it from a fate far worse than himself, having to leave his family, being betrayed, and then woke up hundreds of years later, his name having been forgotten, he defied death, it took the combined abilities of the best fighters and force wielders in the galaxy to just weaken him, and finally dying, in the end, thinking he was nothing, but managing to lay the groundwork for the defeat of the monster who had been manipulating and destroying his life for centuries

Revan was the only force user to have equal mastery over both light and dark sides of the force. The rule of two is based on Darth Bane's interpretation of his teachings. He never actually became a jedi master, yet tore through the Star Forge's defenses like nothing (technically as a padawan - this is why the jedi are morons), while other jedi could barely hold their ground against them.

27 Count Dooku Count Dooku Count Dooku of Serenno, from the House of Dooku is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise, appearing in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith as a primary and minor antagonist respectively. He was portrayed by Christopher Lee and more.

Learn more about him and you will find that he's pretty cool. Used to dislike him myself but like him a lot more now. And he was played be the late and great sir Christopher Lee (RIP)

I believe count dooku is one of the most underrated

Count Dooku's cool, he's underrated.

I can understand why the Emperor wanted Anakin to kill Count Dooku and have Anakin as is new apprentice.

30 Galen Marek / Starkiller Galen Marek / Starkiller Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, was a male Human apprentice of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. A powerful Force-user who lived during the era of the Galactic Empire, Marek originated from the Wookiee home planet of Kashyyyk as the sole offspring of two Jedi Knights—Mallie and Kento Marek—who deserted more.

He should be way higher. One of the strongest if not the strongest character. I get he's not canon but still. Come on now

What is wrong with you people! Galen should be at least in the top five. He is one of the most powerful force wielders in the galaxy! He killed thousands of stormtroopers, killed many Jedi, took down a star destroyer all by himself, nearly killed vader twice, and if it wasn't for Kota, he would have killed the emperor, saving the galaxy! He is the ONLY Star Wars character who did this all! I would like to see him and Luke fight. Starkiller would totally kick his ass! Enough said.

Not many people actually know about Galen because they don't look at the star wars books/comics or games

Star killer is crazy awesome!

My number 1 favourite star wars character of all time, I almost cried when he sacrificed himself at the end of Force Unleashed 1, he's one of those characters that I was rooting for him throughout the game because his life was ruined by Darth Vader and possibly Sidieous, also the only game were I just hated the two villains and wished Galen could get his revenge once and for all. I wish Galen Marek was somehow canon, but sadly Disney doesn't like badass characters and cash in on pathetic characters like Rey and Ezra.

He defeated general grievous like a boss

Such a cool, laid-back character. my older brother's favourite and he fought against darth sidious ten times as long as two of his fellow council members (them being killed immediately and all). definitely deserves top 15.

HE IS MY FAVORITE, he is wise he is good at combat etc.

This guy looks sick and is one of those background characters that seem whatever but end up doing more.

Great character who was overshadowed because she was a minor character in the films.

The best jedi ever. So sad she dies with order 66.

Tarkin was Governor of the Outer Rim territories, and eventually earned the rank of Grand Moff in the Galactic Empire. Tarkin was also in charge of the production of the Death Star. More like Grand Theft Auto

Grand Moff Tarkin exploded when the death star when KABOOM!

People need to get this right. He was responsible for alderaan's doom, not vader

He destoid planet.

37 Wedge Antilles Wedge Antilles

Everyman hero of the original trilogy. He wasn't a Jedi or princess, just a pilot doing his job.

Wedge as the only not main character to survive all 3 of the original movies should surely be higher on this list.

Wedge needs more love. - BrideiMacBella

He is awesome and worth voting for

38 Commander Bly Commander Bly

I never really understood my brother obsession with Commander Bly until I started watching them and realized that he was quite a good character! - oceanbreezetheawesomewarrior

Bly is my favorite clone. He hates politics and just enjoys fighting evil and scrapping droids. He's both a good leader and good follower, which is a rare trait in anyone. Not counting Boba Fett, he is perhaps the most similar clone to Jango Fett in that he is deeply mistrusting of certain people, completes missions as quickly as possible, and keeps his feelings off the battlefield. He became very close to Jedi Master Ayla Secura before finally gunning her down on Felucia during Order 66. Plus, he has cool yellow armor. - ShuhBanggg

40 Darth Bane Darth Bane Darth Bane is a legendary Sith from Star Wars. Darth Bane was one of the greatest Sith lords who ever lived in the Star Wars universe. Darth Bane's greatest accomplishment was creating the Rule of Two, making the Sith am secretive order with one master and one apprentice. The apprentice would learn more.

I want to se him in the film.

Took down the entire Sith army in a matter of seconds. He is merciless, smart, strong, and a master of the force. He also brought back the "Rule of Two"

2nd worst bounty hunter. Jango fett is way better

I bet sidious could kill him hahaaha

She's awesome. I almost feel bad for liking someone from the first order, but I do. PLEASE DON'T JUDGE! - HermioneKG4884

She should have ranked higher! She is the only (known) Female storm trooper and I really liked her! I really would've liked to see her with her helmet off! - oceanbreezetheawesomewarrior

She is the best of star wars the force awakens

She's everyone in one character + Arnold Schwarzenegger

47 Grand Admiral Thrawn Grand Admiral Thrawn Grand Admiral Thrawn is a Chiss male from the Star Wars universe. He first appeared in Star Wars Heir to the Empire. Thrawn has more recently appeared in Star Wars Rebels, and also has a novel that was released in April 2017, titled Thrawn. In summer of 2018, Thrawn: Alliances will be released, where more.

There is no other character as intelligent, cold, intimidating, and alluring as Grand Admiral Thrawn. He is a normal man who's intellect and foresight can defeat practically anyone. Just by studying one's culture he gained insights into who he was fighting, and how to counter specific alien species. He himself almost defeated the New Republic. I've never seen such a great character.

Honestly, he was likely comparable to Palpatine when it came to intimidation.

Come on. Grand Admiral Thrawn should at least be in the top 25. He's a genius commander, and his interest and use of art is really cool.

Aww why is he so low?! come on guys!
