Top Ten Sith Lords
He nearly killed every Jedi in 19 BBY because he was the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic at the time. Every clone obeyed Order 66. Darth Sidious was eventually killed by Darth Vader, who threw him off the Death Star.
Gotta go with Sidious here. He had a long evil plan and executed it brilliantly to destroy the Jedi. He went untouched and accumulated power throughout the galaxy.
He is the accumulation of all Sith power. He is all-powerful, and I have a theory he may be the third Sith'ari.
He was a Jedi Knight of the Republic and an apprentice to Obi-Wan Kenobi (who was, in turn, the apprentice of Qui-Gon Jinn). He helped Darth Sidious succeed in executing Order 66 by attacking the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. However, he died on the Death Star after telling Luke Skywalker to take off his mask.
He is essentially a being made up almost entirely of the Force, a Force entity in human form.
It's Darth Vader, people - one of the most iconic characters in history!
Darth Bane's 'Rule of Two' was crafted from Revan's philosophies. This rule led to the eventual destruction of the Jedi Order and the Republic in 19 BBY. I rest my case.
Without Revan, Bane wouldn't have come up with the Rule of Two and would never have become the Sith'ari. Revan was a top-class Jedi and Sith. He should be in the top ten or at least top eleven.
This guy is so cool because he was first a Jedi, then a Sith, then a Jedi again!
With arguably the best Sith presence up to around 2020, Darth Nihilus has impeccable robes, clothes, and a face mask. The mysterious nature behind the character places Nihilus as one of the best Sith to grace the audience. An awesome turn of events for the Sith starts with Darth Nihilus and continues to Kylo Ren. Incredible attire and impressive skills put Nihilus on a high pedestal.
He was a Force vampire. Force vampires feed on the Force to make themselves stronger. He is virtually unbeatable.
His lightsaber has two blades. Good. Twice the pride, double the fall.
He is not the most powerful, but he is the best in my opinion.
He was short, so he had a smaller hitbox.
Was the Sith'ari and the Dark Lord of the Sith responsible for creating the Rule of Two. Died in 980 BBY at Ambria.
How is this not #1? Traya is clearly the best Sith. Her character is the most interesting, and she isn't just someone who looks cool like Maul.
Extremely clever and could wield three lightsabers using the Force. She foresaw Mace Windu's death 4,000 years before it happened.
He could manipulate midi-chlorians and make his loved ones immortal. He was also extremely clever and a good negotiator. He was the master of Darth Sidious.
He was a human Sith Lord with red clothing and a metal mask covering his mouth. He died in 3,956 BBY.
He was the apprentice of Darth Revan and the master of Darth Bandon.
He was a Sith Lord in the Old Republic times. He was the apprentice of Vindican and led the victorious recapture of the Sith world Korriban. He attacked the Jedi Temple but died several years later.
Held his decayed body together just with the Force. That's some power. I believe he is on par with Darth Nihilus.
Also called the Lord of Pain, he lived during the time of the Old Sith Wars but died in 3951 BBY on Malachor.
Created the One Sith Order and abolished Darth Bane's Rule of Two. What a guy!
You may be wondering, Who is he? His father is Han Solo, and his mother is Leia Organa Solo. He turned against his family and friends, betraying his former principles, and led the Galactic Alliance. He died at 41 BBY. Lumiya was Darth Caedus' Sith master.
She killed Darth Bane, one of the best Sith of all time.
He wielded a double-bladed lightsaber and was strong in the Force. After he died for the first time, his soul continued to cause evil for a long time until he finally met his demise at the hands of the Jedi.
Another Dark Lord of the Sith. He died twice: once in 3996 BBY on Yavin 4 as a physical being, and again in 11 ABY on Yavin 4 as a spirit.
Killed a ton of Sith at a young age with just a thought, and single-handedly brought the Sith under his control.
The master of Darth Malgus. He was not as powerful as his apprentice, Darth Malgus, but he was killed by him in 3,681 BBY.
Not so much for how cool he is, but rather how cool he could be. It would be awesome if the new canon fleshed out his story.
The only Sith to practice the dark side and remain a good man.
I hope Disney makes him canon, but if they do, they need to preserve the character exactly as he was.
