Top 10 Star Wars: The Clone Wars Characters

The Top Ten
1 Obi-Wan Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, played by Sir Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor.

Obi-Wan is an awesome character! He didn't appear as much as other characters, but he's great at using the Force, like when he used it on the beasts in Innocents of Ryloth. That episode is one of the reasons Obi-Wan is my favorite Jedi.

Obi-Wan is my favorite, though he is more of an alcoholic than his future self.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is my favorite! I love him so much!

2 Captain Rex Captain Rex, designation number CT-7567, is a fictional character in the Star Wars science fiction universe created by George Lucas and a main character of the animated The Clone Wars 2008 film and the related television series of the same name. He is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

Captain Rex is the loyal captain of Anakin's 501st Battalion. Why isn't he one of the top 10? While his personality may be impulsive and a bit overconfident, he knows how to lead his men into battle and emerge with as few casualties as possible. Not to mention, he is more than just a number. He's an individual who knows how to make his own choices. He understands that a good soldier doesn't always do what he is told but rather what is right. He sees his soldiers as men, not clones, which shows he understands life and individuality. The Krell arc proved that. He's loyal, dedicated to himself and his men, and unafraid to put himself on the front line. Plus, he wields two blasters, one in each hand. What's not to love about him?

3 Darth Maul Darth Maul is a fictional character in the science fiction franchise Star Wars. Trained as Darth Sidious's first apprentice, he serves as a Sith Lord and a master of wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. Darth Maul debuted in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and has made subsequent appearances... read more

Say what you want about Maul, but The Clone Wars has brought a whole new layer of depth and humanity to the silent assassin we saw in The Phantom Menace. If you think deeper, you will realize how powerful he actually is and understand some of the morals behind his actions. Plus, he played a critical part in some of The Clone Wars' best episodes.

If you look at any best episodes of Clone Wars list, you will find a bunch of Maul's episodes near the top. There is a reason for that.

Darth Maul is the black-jacket devil, very good speed, red and black colored face, and does an excellent job in fights.

4 Ahsoka Tano Ahsoka Tano is a character in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni. Introduced as the Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, she is a central protagonist of both the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the subsequent TV series. Ahsoka Tano was voiced by Ashley Eckstein... read more

I don't understand people who disliked her at the start. If she had been perfect from the beginning, people would have complained about that. I was younger than her when I started watching Clone Wars, and I was so happy there was a character around my age. She's the reason I started getting into Star Wars. Then, when Season 7 aired and she was older, I was also a bit older than her but still around the same age. Basically, I grew up with Ahsoka, and at the same time, she grew up in the series. Her personality change and growth are my inspiration, something Rey in the sequels could never achieve.

5 Fives

Fives was always loyal to his clone brothers and the Jedi. He gave his life trying to expose Chancellor Palpatine's plan to exterminate the Jedi, dying with uncompromising selflessness and courage to do what was right.

Sweet baby cinnamon roll who did not deserve his fate. He stood with and desperately tried to protect his vode. When he couldn't protect them, he tried to bring joy into their lives through humor. Overall, an amazing goofball who deserved better.

Well done, Fives, for finding out about Order 66. You are one of my favorite clones by far. It's a shame he died because of Fox!

6 Anakin Skywalker

The reason Anakin is my favorite is because I love his history. It's sad that he gets so much hate, considering everything he's been through. He was a slave as a child, his mother died in his arms, and he only wanted power to protect the ones he cared about. Anakin really doesn't deserve such hate. Sure, he can be a little whiny, but at least he was apologetic and regretful about his behavior and actions later on.

Anakin is really underrated. He is really cool. Some people say he is quite irritating, but I love his sense of humor and how he kind of does his own thing. One moment he is getting on Ahsoka for not following orders, and the next, he is disobeying orders himself! I know this is annoying to a lot of people, but I love it!

7 Yoda Yoda is a fictional character in the Star Wars space opera franchise created by George Lucas, first appearing in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. He is portrayed by Frank Oz.
8 Hondo Ohnaka

Hilarious. He'd go from being an ally to the Jedi, to hijacking their ships a few weeks later, to being an ally again the week after that - all while delivering some of the show's best one-liners. What's not to love?

Hondo puts the Jedi and Sith in perspective, maybe the only character to ever do this. To Maul, he said, Let me warn you, you are not the first laser-sword-wielding maniac I've had to deal with, and Hondo Ohnaka survives every time!

9 R2-D2 R2-D2 or Artoo-Detoo is a fictional robot character in the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, who appears in the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy.
10 Padme Amildala Padmé Amidala is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in the prequel trilogy portrayed by actress Natalie Portman.
The Contenders
11 Savage Opress Savage Oppress is a fictional character who appeared in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Oppress was the secret apprentice and of Count Dooku and brother of Darth Maul. He is voiced by Clancy Brown.

He is totally awesome. How is he so low on the list?

12 Castas
13 Pong Krell
14 Faro Argyus
15 Asajj Ventress Asajj Ventress is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise during the Clone Wars, appearing in the Clone Wars micro-series, and in The Clone Wars film and television series. She is voiced by Nika Futterman.

I really loved her backstory, and I can't help but feel bad for her because she never really managed to find a place where she belonged. Whenever she did, she either got betrayed or the people she cared about got killed.

I love Asajj! How come she isn't higher than General Grievous? She has great character and is one of my favorites!

Ventress does not get enough credit. She is awesome.

16 Count Dooku Count Dooku of Serenno, from the House of Dooku is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise, appearing in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith as a primary and minor antagonist respectively. He was portrayed by Christopher Lee and... read more

He also appeared in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett.

Best bounty hunter ever. Absolutely no debate.

18 Echo

Echo is a loyal clone. He has a lot of fighting spirit and knows what to do.

19 Palpatine Sheev Palpatine (also known by his Sith identity Darth Sidious and publicly as Senator Palpatine, then Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and later Emperor Palpatine) is a fictional character and one of the primary antagonists of the Star Wars franchise, mainly portrayed by Ian McDiarmid.
20 General Grievous

His death wasn't really the best. I think they could have done better. Seriously, after all the Jedi he killed, he got taken down by a blaster. I know it was Kenobi who killed him, but they could have done better.
He's cool, and his theme is my favorite Star Wars song. I prefer the piano version, so just search "General Grievous Suite Piano," and it'll pop up.

General Grievous is the best and always gets the upper hand over Obi-Wan.

21 Pre Vizsla
22 Shaak Ti Shaak Ti is a fictional Jedi Master who appeared in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

I really liked her in The Clone Wars. I loved her words of wisdom, and she was one of the only characters who actually listened to Fives. She's my absolute favorite Jedi Master.

23 Bossk Bossk is a fictional Trandoshan bounty hunter in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
24 Plo Koon Plo Koon is a fictional Jedi Master who appeared in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2014; 2020).

Best character you know nothing about. Plus, he, in a sense, started this story by finding Ahsoka.
