Top 10 Star Wars Clone Wars Villains

The Top Ten
1 General Grievous General Grievous is a fictional character and antagonist in the Star Wars franchise. He served as the Supreme Commander of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Droid Armies during the Clone Wars. He is voiced by Matthew Wood.

Best Star Wars villain ever! He stole the show like Darth Vader did in the Star Wars movies. He's very skilled with a lightsaber and is even a match against Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

He's a cyborg with four arms, an awesome voice, and a ruthless yet cowardly personality.

I hated his death. I loved seeing him slaughter Jedi, and I would love a series of him. I wish he had joined the Empire.

2 Darth Maul Darth Maul is a fictional character in the science fiction franchise Star Wars. Trained as Darth Sidious's first apprentice, he serves as a Sith Lord and a master of wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. Darth Maul debuted in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and has made subsequent appearances... read more

Darth Maul is awesome and should have lasted more than one movie. I was so glad when they brought him back. He was just too good to die. He has been incredible in the show. I love what they've done with him.

In the movie, he had only a few lines, but in the show, he has many. He's a much more interesting character. Since his return, he has starred in some of the show's best episodes and most epic lightsaber fights. Sam Witwer does an excellent job with his voice acting. I like Maul in the show better than in the movie. He should at least be in the top 3. I say he deserves number 1.

3 Count Dooku Count Dooku of Serenno, from the House of Dooku is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise, appearing in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith as a primary and minor antagonist respectively. He was portrayed by Christopher Lee and... read more

Dooku's not a wimp. He's a good villain.

4 Cad Bane Cad Bane is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, created by George Lucas, Dave Filoni and Henry Gilroy as a recurring antagonist voiced by Corey Burton in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He also appeared in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett.

Cad Bane is a great fighter. A bounty hunter with no fear is dangerous. Thus, Cad Bane is very dangerous and is kind of the master bounty hunter, leading groups of others on many occasions.

Very cool villain. He is a bounty hunter, yet he can stand up to a Jedi.

He is my favorite bounty hunter. I liked watching him abuse Obi-Wan and that other guy single-handedly, and they were both Jedi.

5 Darth Sidious Sheev Palpatine (also known by his Sith identity Darth Sidious and publicly as Senator Palpatine, then Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and later Emperor Palpatine) is a fictional character and one of the primary antagonists of the Star Wars franchise, mainly portrayed by Ian McDiarmid.

General Grievous? He has to be one of the most overrated characters in the franchise, not to mention he dies almost as quickly as he's introduced. Darth Sidious, on the other hand - THIS guy is one of the greatest movie villains of all time! You can really feel how evil he is. It's chilling, and he has some unforgettable lines. Clearly the best villain of the Clone Wars, and the second best in the Star Wars franchise in my opinion (after Darth Vader).

Although old man Sidious appears in the flesh just once, he is a total BADASS! He wasn't even trying to battle Maul and Savage, but it looked like he was in total control of the battle and killed Savage JUST LIKE THAT. He is intimidating, PERIOD, whether he's a hologram or dual lightsaber-wielding.

6 Savage Opress Savage Oppress is a fictional character who appeared in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Oppress was the secret apprentice and of Count Dooku and brother of Darth Maul. He is voiced by Clancy Brown.

I love his design and strength in The Clone Wars. It's a shame that he had to die. I would love to see Savage in a Star Wars movie.

7 Asajj Ventress Asajj Ventress is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise during the Clone Wars, appearing in the Clone Wars micro-series, and in The Clone Wars film and television series. She is voiced by Nika Futterman.

It is very interesting to see the twists and turns that this character takes, and I am so excited to see which path she will finish on. It would be amazing to see her in Star Wars Rebels!

Much more complex than she gets credit for. Plus, giving the kiss of death to a clone trooper was amazing.

Ventress is the definition of evil, which makes her the best.

8 Pre Vizsla

He has awesome armor and defeated Ahsoka and Obi-Wan! Vizsla should be number 3 on this list.

Vizsla is like Boba Fett and Jango Fett mixed with a Sith. He is a boss!

9 Hondo Ohnaka

Hondo is such a funny character, and he's cool!

10 Bossk Bossk is a fictional Trandoshan bounty hunter in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

Bossk doesn't need anyone! Boba pisses him off at times and keeps bothering him. Aurra Sing left him like the weak coward she is and didn't even care about him in the first place. Castas didn't even respect him and kept complaining. Plus, he is just bossed around.

Bossk is an awesome, loyal friend to Boba. But he would have been way better off without Aurra and Castas, for sure!

Bossk is one of my favorite bounty hunters. I just wish he was a bit more independent.

The Contenders
11 The Son

Number 12! The Son killed The Father, crippled The Daughter, and nearly single-handedly destroyed Mortis. He has red Force lightning, almost blew up The Father's palace, and captured the Dagger of Mortis. The only reason he died was that Anakin, who had greater Force potential than The Father, drained him and ran him through.

The Son is so cool! I love his lightsaber too!

12 Nute Gunray Nute Gunray is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in the prequel trilogy and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Gunray served as the Viceroy of the Trade Federation and was a member of the Separatist Council.
13 Boba Fett Boba Fett is a fictional character in the Star Wars series. In The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, he is a bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader and also employed by Jabba the Hutt.

Not scared of anything but felt bad when Aurra left him and Bossk. I was SO glad when Boba and Bossk became friends in the movies, while Aurra didn't.

Boba is skilled, able to work well with guns, bombs, targets, and ships.

Boba proved himself to others, but he only has around six episodes in total.

14 Darth Vader Darth Vader is a Star Wars character and the main antagonist of the first three original Star Wars films and the main protagonist of the Star Wars prequel trilogy under his original name Anakin Skywalker. He had been trained as a Jedi but defected to the Sith lord and Galactic Chancellor Palpatine... read more

I guess if you count Anakin at the end of the seasons.

15 Aurra Sing

Aurra was like a mentor for Boba after his father died. Aurra is also a skilled bounty hunter.

16 Sergeant Slick

It was cool to see a traitor in the ranks in an early season. I liked those episodes.

17 Zam Wesell
18 Admiral Trench
19 Poggle the Lesser
20 Mother Talzin

I don't know if she is considered a villain, but she is evil and wicked and does a great job at it.

21 Castas
22 Faro Argyus
23 Pong Krell

A traitor to the Republic with four arms, two double-bladed lightsabers, and a beard - what more could you want in a villain?

If you dual-wield, you are my guy. If you have a double-bladed lightsaber, you're my guy. If you dual-wield double-bladed lightsabers, you are my god.

This guy was an absolute powerhouse. He could have killed almost any Jedi or Sith. He had a cool voice too.

25 Evil Yoda
