Top Ten Most Unexpectedly Bad Movies of 2016

The Contenders: Page 3

41 Arrival
42 Pete's Dragon

Nothing compared to Suicide Squad. This made $145 million at the global box office, SS made $745 million. I'll go with Suicide Squad as the best film of the summer.

43 Free State of Jones
44 Finding Dory

I liked this. Dory developed more as a character (and she was SO CUTE as a baby! ) and we even also got some decent development for Marlin. I also liked the new characters like Destiny, Bailey and the octopus (forgot his name). - SailorSedna

First installment ALWAYS wins, and this is no exception. Finding Nemo was much better than this hunk of junk.

What about Toy Story 2? That one wasn't just as great as the first, it actually was even better. - SailorSedna

This isn't bad, it's awesome - VideoGamefan5

45 The Boss

This movie was hilarious. At least for me - 906389

46 Sausage Party
47 The Legend of Tarzan

I wanted this film to succeed so badly. Tarzan rocks and he deserves a decent, modern live-action movie to his name. Why even make a movie about him if you're just going to bore us to death with a slow-as-molasses pace and an unoriginal plot? Really, guys. Now, it's going to take ages before anyone else tries to take another stab at it (probably). - BKAllmighty

48 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Well, I certainly don't think it deserves a spot here. Overall, I thought the movie was great, although the plot was slow to get moving and sometimes confusing. The ending (which I won't spoil) was slightly disappointing as well. So in other words, how dare you. - LeiaSkywalker

I actually enjoyed this WAY more than the others posted on this site

I loved this film. - HeavyDonkeyKong

Hell no. This was awesome! - TwilightKitsune

49 My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2
50 Money Monster
51 Ben-Hur
52 The Jungle Book

The original version was a memorable part of my early childhood. There was plenty of slapstick and witty comedy in it, and it was really that that makes you enjoy it at any age.

The remake was not at all humorous, and the acting was wooden. It made the storyline appear very boring, in contrast with before when you were pulled right in.

All in all, the remake sucked. - PositronWildhawk

I liked this but the original was still better. What annoys me is Disney is just unnecessarily remaking all their animated films into live action remakes, which makes me believe they've either run out of ideas or just want money (probably both). - SailorSedna

53 The Accountant
54 The Girl on the Train
55 Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
56 Deadpool

WHO PUT THIS THERE?!?!?! Deadpool is the best R Rated hilarious Marvel movie of 2016, who says that this movie is horrible? I blame the person who dislike Deadpool

57 Doctor Strange
58 Fifty Shades of Black

Lemme guess, a knock-off of the horrendous Fifty Shades of Gray? - SailorSedna

We Knew This Would Suck - VideoGamefan5

59 The Darkness
60 Nine Lives
