41 Hawaii Hawaii Hawaii is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959. Hawaii is the only U.S.

There's 1. No crap to do if you hate being outside, 2. A lot of racism. 3. WAY too much traffic. 4. Extreme overrating when there seriously shouldn't be any. 5. Being insanely corrupt. 6. The most problematic thing:THE PEOPLE. Yes, me, and some million people out there, there's a lot of problems with me and it's also countless people who sometimes have psychological problems. A lot of people are annoyingly unstable that I've already lost it. That's only Oahu though, Big Island has problems as well, like being harder to pick up on if you prefer the illuminating lights of NYC and such. I have many more problems to list.

Racism is HORRIBLE if you have light colored skin, people will call you a "haole". I have red hair and green eyes, and I was bullied even though I was born and raised on Oahu like everyone else. I remember wanting to dye my hair black as a 6 year old because of how bad the racism was. The kids are terrible, the teenagers are terrible, and even some stupid adults are terrible too. Do not ever move there.

Most people would assume Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, or other stereotyped southern states would be the most racist. As a man of the American south, I fail to believe a state could possibly be more racist than Hawaii. If you're not native Hawaiian, get ready for a constant bombardment of racial slurs. Most've said that the racism is against whites, but blacks, hispanics, and middle easterns are all about equally attacked. You'll also need to either homeschool your children or put them in private schools because Hawaiian on "haole" crime is extremely high in public schools. I walked into a pizza shop on a lunch break and spent the entire 30 minutes getting stabbed with death glares from the local Hawaiians dining there, only to find out that the place I ate is "no-Haole", which quite a few business here are. On the other end of the spectrum, a lot of white people are racist too, moreso than what you'd see in Texas or whatever stereotyped racist state you're thinking of. ...more

It's a good place.Unless if the volcano may erupt in the future.

42 Indiana Indiana

Maybe the reason why this one is so shockingly low on the list is because we're so often forgotten about. Don't get me wrong, if you love cornfields and you get excitement from watching combines, this may be the place for you. Seriously, there's nothing to do here unless you go to Indianapolis and it's still pathetic

First of all. I was born in Indiana.. I've lived in several towns here, but have also lived in CA, and visited numerous other states... If you want to make no improvements to your life, spit out 2-3 kids, and get harassed by the police PLEASE BY ALL MEANS come to Indiana!

YAY, were not the worst!

We have a lot of drugs and orher bad thing in our state

43 Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Pennsylvania, officially the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is a state located in the northern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Crumbling roads, water main breaks every five minutes, terrible education system, debt, bridges falling into the water, highways collapsing, shootings, violence, tom corbett. - Bturlik

Home of ketchup that's all I need to say

Narcotics are extremely popular in Pennsylvania. That's probably not a good thing.

Laws suck weather sucks

44 Montana Montana Montana is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaƱa.

There is nothing here. A pit of sewage made the top 10 best attractions list.

The only thing in Montana is poop

I don't really like Montana its big and boring

45 South Dakota South Dakota

Beautiful state when it is warm, sucks the other 11.5 months. Can go for miles without running into anyone.

46 North Carolina North Carolina North Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

Everyone's all "fayetteville sucks, stay away from there." I've lived there for over 10 years & I don't think its that horrible. I hate the state's law about minors not receiving medical care without their parents signing 500 papers, and how fort bragg occasionally keeps me up at night. But it's not so bad here.

I am sad to say I am North Carolinian myself. And I hate it. The education system is horrible, the people are generally either racist, crotchety, or homophobic/transphobic, or any combination of these. The weather is unbearable. It is extremely humid, or at least on the coast, where I live, and we only have 2 seasons, Summer, and Winter. I'm getting out of this godforsaken place as soon as I can, and going to New Mexico. Or maybe just Mexico. Anywhere but out of the South.

This place is horrible. I've lived in North Carolina and the economy is horrible, the people are horrible, and to many girl teens are getting pregnant

47 Wisconsin Wisconsin Wisconsin is a U.S. state located in the north-central United States, in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions.

WHAT?! Wisconsin does NOT EVEN belong on this list. What about the dells? That's a good place to go to for a vacation! Whoever putt this on the list should go to jail.

We're the worst?!? Fine we'll take our dairy, tourism, beautiful scenery, varied landscape and countries biggest water park and leave, and as a parting gift we well leave Minnesota our frigid weather. JK but seriously want did Wisconsin do?

Wisconsin - Where you can see things bought at Illinois garage sales.

WHY IS THIS EVEN ON THE LIST? WISCONSIN SHOULD SCOOCH OUT OF THIS LIST RIGHT THIS SECOND! IF NOT... WE WILL TAKE DOWN THE WISCONSIN DELLS, GET RID OF THE CHEESE PLACE, COVER UP LAKE MICHIGAN, AND GET RID OF THE PACKERS (which is by the way the most POPULAR football team in ALL of the United States! ). DO YOU REALLY WANT THAT?!

48 Oregon Oregon Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada.

It's great and all but too much depression. Lived there for a year. Sports in Oregon are great, fresh air, green trees, very friendly people, nice cold weather (except when it's raining), but just too much depression there.

Actually, it's great here. It may be bad in other parts of Oregon, but if you live in the countryside it's great. The only thing I don't like about this state is the amount of rain

Great state should be 46

Oregon is the worst state ever hands down. I've lived in this state for almost 6 years now and it sucks. To many tweakers and homeless, plus it rains like 5 times a day the weather goes like this: nice and sunny for at least a short period of time then it's pouring down rain. It just goes back and forth, to cold and it snows very rarely (depending on the location). The biggest city in the state Portland, is a tweaker infested depressing and some what dangerous city. Its basically woods, mountains, and lakes surrounding the whole state with nothing to do at all. Overall I rate it a 2 out of 10, I'm graduating soon and hopefully moving back to Washington a much better state then whoregon.

49 Minnesota Minnesota Minnesota is a state in the Midwestern United States. Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd state on May 11, 1858, created from the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory.

YES! YES! YES! My home state is the best in the country among the Top Tens! You rule, Land of 10,000 Lakes!

Yay, I'm glad this is last, because I actually have always wanted to move here, just because of it's perfect Autumns, and winters, and it doesn't get as hot as it does where I live now so this is a good choice for last.

It has perfect springs and falls, the education is good, and the culture and history is rich and interesting. Paired with pretty nice people and it's almost perfect

My home state is 4th place, I've allways felt lucky to live here. The Vikings are doing very well now, number 1 team in the NFL - Unknownguy

50 Georgia Georgia Georgia is a state located in the southeastern United States. It was established in 1732, the last of the original Thirteen Colonies.

GA is a scum pit. At least the Augusta, GA area that is. Worst drivers I've ever dealt with. I'd rather drive in L.A. or San Antonio during rush hour and that's saying something. Most of the people I've encountered are selfish and rude. And I'm sorry but when the two biggest food recommendation I got before moving to this slum was Cracker Barrel and Waffle house... That alone makes me lose respect for this "state." "Good" food in this state is anything that is cheap and you get lots of it. Funny that seems to describe my two years living here, cheap and lots of it. This should be listed as the WORST state in the USA to live in. I do have a feeling that Alabama and some others states like MO are just as bad but I'm not going to test those waters. Screw the south and the ass backwards way of life they enjoy.

Too many zombies. - JustAnAccount

I love GA. There's not much else to say.

Celebrities like Andre 3000 and games like the walking dead are based in Georgia for one reason*Beautiful weather and nice summers with protection by gulf stream my advice put this lower(I lived here all my life and it never changes when it comes to beauty
