Top 10 Worst Things About YouTube Rewind 2018
The YouTube Rewind is a tradition that started in 2010 as a celebration of the platform's creators, trends, and viral moments. The goal was simple: to encapsulate a year's worth of digital culture into a single, digestible video. However, over the years, the balance between what viewers wanted and what YouTube presented began to falter. The pendulum reached its peak swing in 2018, resulting in a rewind that drew more flak than festivities.
What was it that left viewers all over the globe scratching their heads, clicking on the dislike button, and typing out their grievances in the comments section? Was it the overload of celebrity cameos? The apparent disregard for the platform's actual top creators? Or perhaps it was the forced and cringe-worthy attempts at capturing trending memes and events?

Lack of Pewdiepie
Rewind 2018 is now officially the most disliked video on YouTube, and it only needs 50,000 more dislikes to reach 10 million.
I have a feeling that YouTube is promoting T-Series on purpose.
YouTube is what it is because of how popular Pewdiepie has become.
-
Fortnite
Why did they have to center this overrated game front and center in the rewind? They should reference Overwatch or Super Smash Bros Ultimate in the next rewind.
This will probably have a movie made by Disney instead of Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie. Make that and not Fortnite: The Movie.
I would've done better if they could've just left it out of there. But it was so popular this year, I have no words. The end!

BTS
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in Seoul in 2013. The group includes leader RM and members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They have gained international fame for their music, performances, and social impact.
How are these guys even popular? They've barely got personality, and you can't really distinguish their singing.

K-Pop seriously needs to go away. Fast.
Although I like some K-pop, what does it have to do with YouTube? YouTube just added it to be "trendy."
