Best Actors In the Sam Raimi Spiderman Trilogy
The actors can come from any of the original Spiderman movies, so Spiderman (2002), Spiderman 2 (2004) and Spiderman 3 (2007) actors can be included.Of all the actors in the trilogy J.K. nailed Jameson's disgruntled and angry nature, and his scenes always provide a good laugh throughout.
The reason why his character isn't in The Amazing Spiderman was that they couldn't get another actor as good as J.K. Simmons. That should speak volumes.
Defiant key the veins of the movies!
For me Tobey is the definitive Peter Parker. Sure Andrew Garfield is a good actor and might be a more realistic teen, but Tobey always seemed more likable in general more believable as a nerd.
A scientist with a dream that collapses before his very eyes Otto is a villain who you can really feel sympathy for when things went wrong for him, but still legitimately believable as a threat.
Sure he may have been over the top and silly, but his on screen presence was always fun to watch, plus the Jekyll and Hyde like persona was portrayed very well here.
Whilst he didn't have much to do in Spiderman 1 his character arc grew over the course of 3 movies and was faced with some serious conflicts like believing his best friend killed his father. Good actor overall.
Cliff certainly got down Uncle Ben as a compassionate man who shares concern for Peter and always wants to do what's right. His death scene was also really sad.
As Peter's only family left she does her best to be there for Peter when he needs her. Whilst distraught over her husband's death she still manages to be a sweet and compassionate woman.
One couldn't help but feel sympathy for a guy who got mixed up in a bad crowd trying to save the life of his daughter. For more proof of this just watch his birth scene, great acting without needing any dialogue.
Sure she may play the damsel in distress, but she does show traits of being a nice character I.E. she's opposed to Flash bullying Peter. Also in the sequels she's more self dependent and wanting to make her own decisions in life.
Personally, didn't like her portrayal of Gwen Stacy.
OK some of you may hate me for this but I thought Topher Grace did well in his respective role. His character may have been more jerk than threat but he at least seemed to have fun with what he was doing.
