Love his vocals on slip of the lip on their 1986 album dancing undercover

I didn't expect to see one of the pioneers of American arena rock vocals down at 34. Come on guys.
AMAZING SINGER and AMAZING FRONTMAN but not necessarily Metal more like classic Rock
Now, I wouldn't say he was the best, but man could he make us wana party!V1 Comment
HE'S THE DEMON, HE SINGS HIS HEART OUT... IT'S MARILYN MANSON... I can't WAIT TO SEE HIM AT HIS NEXT CONCERT
He has the sexiest, darkest, badass, and most BRUTAL Hard Rock N Roll/Metal voices! Listen to him! The one and only...MARILYN MANSON
His dark voice is just amazing! Especially when he sings "Where did you sleep last night" by Kurt.C
The scream in Won't Get Fooled Again. Enough said.V2 Comments
How the hell is Myles Kennedy below Jonathan Davis and Matt Shadows? I like both bands but come on, the vocals aren't exactly stellar. Matt's voice sounds so nasally on his high notes, it's ridiculous. Myles has the most dynamic voice I have ever heard in rock music. Just listen to Blackbird by Alter Bridge. Perhaps their greatest song and it greatly shows off his range. There's a reason Slash chose Myles to sing for his solo band - he's a much better version of Axl Rose.
Myles is like the child of Chris Cornell's voice and Axl Rose's. It has the range and power of Chris's, but it also is slightly more contained, like Axl. Like both singers, he can hit ridiculous high notes and like Chris, he can play fast riffs at the same time. Listen to Cry of Achilles, Addicted to Pain, or Blackbird and you'll see what I'm talking about.
4 octaves people. Seriously. Better than Axl in so many ways, most of which being that he's not a self-absorbed ass.
He is Myles away from beating everyone on this list...V6 Comments
The guy mentioned the comment below.
I have the same thing to say...
He can play guitar, sings, scream, and even can growl...
After him randy blythe is a very impressive vocalist.
I don't get why Matt Tuck is 17 he should at least be in the top three section, he inspired me to be the vocalist I am now (screaming)
HE SHOULD BE HIGHER ON THIS LIST. HE SHOULD BE ON THE SECOND POSITION JUST AFTER JAMES HETFIELD. HE IS A GREAT VOCALIST AND ALONGSIDE HE PLAYS GUITAR WHICH IS A VERY DIFFICULT THING TO DO.
Patton has done a lot of things in all kinds of genres. But I can't remember anything anyone ever called Heavy Metal or Hard Rock.
However he is the best vocalist on earth. And if he ever starts singing in a Heavy Metal or Hard Rock Band he will top them all. So I vote for him.
Breaks my heart that he isn't even on this list yet, should be #10 minimum
This list has to be more than just voice.. Agree with the top 3, Dio, Dickinson, and Halford, but Klaus should be top 5 easy! So much variety and so much power. Listen to the Scops live...huge voice. #51 is an embarrassment.. DLR better? Ozzy? Analyze your list...
Klaus meine voice is very Broad.. It covers all range... He should be in the number 1 spot...
In my opinion the best metal singer ever, without a doubt!
So underrated, must be at least top 3 - fuzzmanV7 Comments
The dude covered Rob Halford vocals, anyone who can do painkiller for more than ten seconds let alone the entire song deserves to be on this list!
He is the father. All the vocals are getting taught by his influencing scream. A voice came from his soul. Pure and strong. He is the best.
So powerful & dynamic. Blackie should be in the top 5.
I Wanna Be Somebody be somebody tooV1 Comment
Singer of Testament he rules! awesome
This man seriously deserves to be much higher. How many other vocalists on this list have a four octave vocal range and amazing clean and rough tones? Listen to the Accolade to get a taste of why Russell should be far, far higher than 48. He may not be one of the most famous, but is undoubtedly one of the best.
He's not one of the best. HE IS THE BEST.
He's one of the best ten.
But no one knows him.
