The Contenders: Page 3
Only rapper to make it out of the west coast without Dre. Two classic gangster rap albums that reflect the struggles of everyday life on the streets of Compton just as well as NWA did with Straight Outta Compton.
What is she doing on this list? Nicki sucks. I couldn't even get through her first song on the pink album it was that bad. Her sound is annoying, she uses simple beats and boring lyrics and makes her songs all about her ass which is 99% of the reason she is famous. I look forward to the day when I can turn on the radio and not hear her trash.
This whole list is bull. Fist of all, where's Eminem? Or Hopsin? Or Immortal Technique?
With her newest album "The Pinkprint" I think she should definitely be top 15. People get hear the songs like "Anaconda" and think that her butt is all she talks about. The first song talks about some deep stuff on her new album and there a some songs that are sad songs about love. Should be higher than 22. - gavinthatcher
Nicki Minaj, you're kidding me rightV 7 Comments
Criminally underrated here. I call him the country-fried Kendrick. not sure why he doesn't get nearly as much love as the rest of his crew.V 1 Comment
#43 is pretty high for Pitbull considered he's one of the worst rappers of all time to get famous. He's made the radio the radio even worse than it already is with his terrible verses. - gavinthatcher
Not a rapper. But he is still trashV 3 Comments
Tyga is one of the best rappers of the new generation. He can make extremely meaningful songs like "I $mile, I cry" or just fun and awesome songs like Baller Alert. When he's not lyrical Tyga makes great catchy songs with awesome beats. His flow and voice are also awesome. He is the most underrated rapper ever - JAckSparrow
How are 7 million twitter followers, 15 million Facebook likes, and 9 million instagram followers, underrated? - venomouskillingmachineV 2 Comments
Why is this here? Young Thug just mumbles dumb lyrics that don't make sense. It sounds like he is choking on his own tongue, then like he's throwing up, then tried to gargle his vomit.V 1 Comment
Mac Miller...? IGGY...?!?! He kills every verse he is featured on and his solo work speaks for itself. It is a crime that he is #27. I know he's not exactly "new age" but I would rank him at least where Eminem/Kanye are at. And now that I think of it.. Nas isn't "new age" and he's #6. Not saying Nas doesn't deserve to be ranked there, it just makes me realize this list doesn't make any sense. KA-POW! I'M OUT.
This man has been killed it on every album he has released and still has very little recognition from mainstream audiences. I would recommend his special effects album.
He started in the mid 90's so he shouldn't be on this list, he's my favorite artist ever but he shouldn't be on this list - KrazzyMadd
No disrespect to tech n9ne its just he's not that good but he still the homie though
Mac Miller is dope. He spits fire.V 5 Comments
Rest in peace, give him peace in death and listen to Amerikkkan koruption
Dude is ill, unique flow and word play, kill everything
You should have put Flatbush ZOMBiES instead of just one member - KrazzyMaddV 3 Comments
This dude is pretty good. He is way low on that list. He should be at least #25 if not top 20. I could see even a bit better than that but considering he's this low on the list I'll just leave it at somewhere between 20-25 - gavinthatcherV 1 Comment
He was at his best in the 90's. Still good
Even though I love him, He started in the mid 80's so he shouldn't be on this list - KrazzyMadd
