Best Anime Proposal Scenes
You know these sweet little scenes are even greater for me, now that I'm engaged. However, which anime did the best proposal scene? These can be just as important as first time they say "I love you" or the actual marriage. I'll put in ten recommendations, you figure out the rest. These two are complete dorks, and I love them for it. The proposal scene where they still bicker is utterly adorable. Edward says if she gives half of her life to him, he'll do the same for her. She then says she'll give all her life to him and becomes flustered. It's a great way to cap off their relationship.
This proposal scene came after a very emotional scene and took me by surprise. Yet it was very heartwarming as Nagisa says that she'll always be with Tomoya. Both Japanese and English voice actors did an excellent job capturing the joy in this scene.
After an encounter with her mother, Taiga runs off with Ryuuji elsewhere. She accidentally knocks him off the bridge and into freezing water, but other than being freezing, he's okay. Then suddenly, he says that they can run away and get married. It was very delightful after watching these two slowly fall in love and then finally come together.
This moment was so touching to me.
This scene is so sad yet romantic at the same time. Yui wants to get married, and Otonashi is trying to accomplish everything she wants in life in order for her to move on. However, instead of Otonashi doing it just to please her, Hinata shows up and confesses to her. He then gives a very poetic speech about how he will always be with Yui, even if she couldn't walk or have children. He tells Yui she isn't fake and that if they met again, he would marry her. Then she disappears from the Afterlife. Boy, was that scene a tearful one.
I couldn't help but add this in. It only happens in the manga, but I've been waiting for this scene. Usui giving a promise ring to Misaki and them staying faithful to each other was a great scene to watch. These two are great characters and deserve this happiness.
The setting where this takes place, the music, and how Hiramaru proposes just made it a cheeky thing. You can't help but chuckle at how Hiramaru is when he tries to pop the question, and you root for him too.
Thank goodness this was a romance series and not a harem. This anime deserves a proper proposal scene. After a long, intense fight, Ikki wants a family with Stella. So, in front of thousands of people, he asks the question. Stella gleefully says yes, and they kiss.
Whoa, whoa, I didn't even know that! I only saw three episodes. Now I want to finish and see what happens!
While you don't actually see the proposal, just a quick flash of it, it was the scene before that made it special. Miketsukami only has one desire, and that's to have a family and marry Ririchiyo, but he says that can wait. Ririchiyo, despite being a tsundere, wants that too. Then you quickly see the image of his proposal before the anime ends.
Adorable couple! Especially Miketsukami! He's such a sweetheart!
I honestly didn't see this one coming at all, yet I was fine with that. Not many of us can say we proposed to our significant others in space, but Hachirota can. The sun peeking over the Earth, Ai's beaming face, and the fantastic score made this captivating to watch.
Finally! These two get together! I've been waiting for this! Zen and Shirayuki have helped each other many times in the past and trust each other. She treated him with care, even though at first she didn't know he was a prince, and he liked that about her. Then he asks for her hand in marriage, and the rest is history.
These two were the best parts of the anime for me. They deserve to be on this list. It's cute. The entire scene is cute and in character for these two. Love it.
