    There is no way you can hate this character. Even dead, he played a major role in the end of the series. I love Kamina.

    Kamina is cool, and Yoko is cute, but Simon is the main character for a reason. Yeah, sometimes he's kind of a wimp, but wouldn't we be the same? He represents a normal person. What really makes him awesome is when he gets mad. It's so inspiring.

    While a lot of people say Kamina is their favorite, I personally prefer Simon. The amount of character development he goes through in the series is incredible.

    Say what you will about Simon, but he's honestly my favorite character in the series. Why? Because of his character development.

    Yoko is so cute! She's got a perfect personality and plays an important role in the show.

    I love Yoko Littner. She's my favorite.

    Nia actually proved to be a really strong and brave character. The way she held on makes her one of the reasons the anime's ending was so awesome.

    She is great. I love her to death, and her lines usually make me burst out laughing.

    He is a very complex and multi-dimensional character, especially after the time skip. I respect his character writing immensely and think it is one of the best in the show.

    I, David Rivera, respect Viral from Gurren Lagann because he is a proud warrior who loves the thrill of battle. He's cocky, headstrong, and refers to humans as "Naked Apes."

    I feel like he is the smartest among them.

  6. Rossiu Adai

    I feel bad for this guy. He lived his life in false faith and pretense until he met the Dai Gurren Lagann crew.

    He was smart enough to understand why he and the village believed in those lies, and he respected the priest's reasons for it. He changed quickly after he found out the truth and remained one of the smarter characters in the crew.

  7. Kittan Bachika

    If he wasn't already cool to you, he becomes much cooler and more badass around the final battle against the Anti-Spiral. I gained max respect for him after that finale.

    The best character in the show, period. He did what Kamina couldn't do.

    Best character ever. The backbone leader of the Gurren-dan!

    He has the best mech besides Gurren Lagann and King Kittan.

  9. Lordgenome

    Even when he is a villain, he is doing it for the greater good. He always goes out like a badass and has a pretty cool character. He is pretty damn awesome.

    I liked when he joined the Dai-Gurren crew in the end. He was a great addition to the team!

    Boota

    Minor spoiler here, but Boota gains a human form around the end of the series. I thought that was so cool, but since it happened in the second-to-last episode, we didn't get to see much of that.

    I kinda wish we did.

    Where the hell is Boota's respect? He put his ass on the line (literally) and saved Simon and Kamina.

    He possesses the strongest fighting spirit.
