BEST ANIME <3 So interesting and with all the fights and action they just keep the audience waiting for more! Its in its 7th Season in Dubs and in Subs I believe, but not sure. Oh and, don't skip it just cause everyone says its cool or it looks dumb or whatever I did that too for a looong time till I started watching it on Netflix out of curiosity of why it's so good to must people, and now I'm a HUGE fan. My favorite anime, I will always love this anime. This anime is like my life. I never want it to end not ever. The characters are all awesome and yes I can not help but like old enemies. Always making me smile and laugh no matter what mode I'm in. If anyone could make an anime like this one then my anime world would be complete
I would watch yourself before you start watching this anime. I swear that I fell into a hole that I will never get out of. This is downright the best T.V. series that I've ever watched in my life. And that is A LOT coming from me. You should really take the time to watch.

No other show has ever managed to make me cry, but I found myself teary-eyed on many occasions and in tears during one particular unforgettable moment (You all know the one...).
Oh, and no other show has had antagonists that I've found so fundamentally terrifying... And pitied so much when they died. The whole series is extremely amazing, except for maybe the last season. But hey, Brotherhood has one of the best endings ever.
The emotion depth and plot line are far better than DBZ. This show also has action, and it's way more realistic than DBZ. It has way better animation too. Fullmetal Alchemist is considered one of the best animes of all time by many anime watchers, and anyone who watched it would at least say it's a decent series. It has such a beautiful story and the characters are so fun to watch grow.
Full metal Alchemist is one of my favorite anime series. This is a heartwarming anime; the big brother chooses the dangerous path for his beloved younger brother, Al. This anime will somehow can torment a person psychologically. Many people died in this anime. Because of such a stone, many people have been sacrificed.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an anime series adapted from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga by Hiromu Arakawa. Watching FMA03 is great but Brotherhood is the better of the two series. My favorite anime of all time. My recommendation is watch the 03 series to get some more background on the characters and then watch brotherhood. Yes some backgrounds are slightly different but you will appreciate Brotherhood so much more if you watch the first series.
This show has a longer journey for you. More character growth and better animation. It is truly a heartwarming anime, one recommended for teenagers who love action. This is my #1 best anime in the world. It truly has a touching meaning in it, love.
I love this anime so much it has so action and comedy. Don't even get me started with the ended it was so cool and romantic. I could've asked for a better ending.
I watched Brotherhood instead of Full Metal Alchemist because this one is more closely related to how the manga is written and follows the story, while Full metal alchemist ran along side the manga (like dragon ball z) and is full of filler episodes.
Not to say they both don't have a place because they are both extraordinary pieces of work.
It wouldn't hurt to watch both

This anime has now surpassed DBZ after I finally catched up to manga and anime.
Naruto was my first anime and I loved it till the very end of the manga however one piece is (GOAT) greatest of all time due to the character development and hilarious comedy. This anime made make theories of things that not yet told but lots of foreshadowing. I love lots of anime especially mainstream e.g. one piece, Naruto,bleach and fairy tail have not really fully watched DBZ but plot is not as good as one piece not gonna lie all these anime are amazing but if I had to choose one it would be One piece.

Very good story line that you can get in to and make you feel like your there too, at least for me. Super funny and kinda sad once you learn some of the crews past. Overall disappointed it only got 8 on this list, I would've put it right next to Fairy Tail.
By far my favourite anime yet, considering it is still going on! It is super suspenseful, will leave you with little to no knowledge about an important character for a long time (I.e Shanks). Bare with it even though it is 750+ episodes strong!
This show is impeccable. It has a great deal of suspense, it made me cry, it made me laugh until I fell off my chair. The character development and the story is completely brilliant. Recommend it for everyone.

Soul Eater is an anime series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo, which adapts the Soul Eater manga written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. My first anime, and although I liked the Manga ending better, this anime was action packed, with deadly and suspencing fight scenes, humor, romance, and a great storyline with different and unique characters, (Such as Kid's OCD, ) and although they can seem a bit naive, (ahem, Blackstar, Patty) they all seem to care for each other and get the job done. This anime must be watched in order, but it's one of my favorites.
Soul Eater is action packed. However, it only appeals to the kind of people who love fighting and friends and whatnot (if you liked Attack On Titan, you MUST watch this). The ending is definitely unexpected, and the series has unique characters that you're sure to love. Balanced with romance, humor, and ACTION AND ADVENTURE, Soul Eater is GREAT!

My Hero Academia is a superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, and 20 volumes have been collected in tankōbon format. I absolutely loved this anime! It is new but so well written! This anime deserves to be in at least the top ten. It is one of the only anime's that I have ever been so passionate about.

An amazing show, it really hits the feels, it's a great reverse-harem that I would 100% recommend to anyone into that, I like the different characters in this anime, the boys in the host club are very naive when it comes to how Haruhi lives her life as a middle-class civilian, which just adds to the already funny plot.
Dubbed shows the emotions of each character so well. All in all it's so funny. The twins are hilarious while in sync. Bravo to Funimation because that must have been really hard to do considering when they talk separately there is just a small variation in voices. Works with the Twins whole concept.
This is probably one of the only anime that I will ONLY watch dubbed because it's so well done. If... no, when you watch this... because you HAVE TO... watch it with the Funimation dub. It makes things much more fun.
This anime wasn't as good as others I have watched but the twins make up for that. I would definitely recommend this anime for those who like funny, and mischievous characters

Honestly, this is my favorite anime of all time. It's funny watching the characters interact with one another and the moves are badass. The dark tournament is the best story arc iv'e seen in an anime.

Black Butler is a Japanese anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures. It premiered in October, 2008. It was based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Yana Toboso. The series follows Ciel Phantomhive, the twelve-year-old Earl of Phantomhive serving as the Queen's Watchdog. He is tasked with solving crimes in the underworld of Victorian-era London. Ciel has formed a contract with demon Sebastian Michaelis, who disguises himself as his butler, to seek revenge on those who tortured him and murdered his parents. In exchange for his services, Sebastian will be allowed to consume Ciel's soul. Absolutely a must see if you like mystery some what horror (depends on the person) and an overall well done story line in my opinion. Although, it ended so sadly that every time I watched the whole thing over again I always cry at the ending. Sad it didn't make top 10.
It has a full story arc that actually closes, something that a lot of Anime's don't have these days. They made a few spin-off series that occur by pretending the last few episodes never happened, but the first season is a complete story in itself.

Heaven's Lost Property, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Suu Minazuki. The plot revolves around Tomoki Sakurai, a boy who desires to live a peaceful life but encounters a fallen girl with wings, named Ikaros, who becomes his servant. It is emotional and dark. The story is so good and I cried a bit in some scenes. The gore is not heavily glorified; mostly when it is necessary to have some. Comedy is really good in this. It also clears up a lot of questions you may have about the events of the story. GO WATCH IT

Kenichi is a master piece. Having only 50 episodes makes it more desirable. Every OVA released adds to the anticipation of the next season. Very good mix of comedy, action and character growth

Future Diary is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno. The plot surrounds a battle royale in which each combatant has a diary with entries from the future. The manga was serialized in the Kadokawa Shoten's Shōnen Ace between January 2006 and December 2010. I loved the range in this anime, how its dark and slightly disturbing at times but jumps right back to romance, comedy and action. With a dark twist at the end that made it much worth watching. I would watch it again if I could, I'd like to see a lot more shows like it that delve into dark topics that most will not even touch.
A perfect mix of action, romance and dark physiological themes. This is the type of anime that will make you re-think your expectations of life itself. No other show will be able to perfectly fill the hole that finishing this anime will leave in your heart. A true must watch.

Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump between September 2011 and September 2014, and it has been collected in fourteen tankōbon volumes as of August 2014. This is the best anime I have ever watched! I love how it is a horror feel, but it is also very heart-warming. Words can not express how addicting this anime is. I stayed up till 4 in the morning watching this because I love it so much. It is a little bit of every genre, so it will appeal with the majority of people. It is exciting, sad, heart-warming, creepy, dramatic, and loving. You will just want to keep on clicking the next episode. You will have a mix of emotions when it ends and will beg for the next season. Plus the characters are hot and crazy
This is a horror anime about creatures called "Ghouls" who can only eat humans and are hunted by them. A boy gets turned into a ghoul unexpectedly in an accident at a hospital, and must fight between his hunger, humanity, his new ghoul friends, and his human friends. Very exciting, very sad, and has enough horror to keep you on the edge and always clicking the next episode.
This Anime has everything I personally like combined. I like the sad, darker, gorey and just a little sappy anime. It has a great suspense to it, really keeps you on the edge of your seat. I binged through both seasons and can not wait what season 3 has to bring us. A lot of fans didn't like the quick plot developement but I found it refreshing. If you like the dark stories definitely give this a go, you will not be disappointed!
It only took me about 4 days to finish all the episodes (2 seasons with 12 episodes each so far). In those 4 days, I found that this anime is great. A bit confusing to keep up with, but great style, music, and story.
Claymore is a dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi. The series initially premiered in the now defunct Monthly Shōnen Jump in the May 2001 issue, but was moved to one of their sister magazines as the content was deemed too adult for Shōnen Jump’s target demographic. One of my absolute favorites! Although when it comes to "funimation" they suck! It doesn't matter if a show is doing really well or not. They will and do cancel a show if 5 or pple ask about it. It's the DUMBEST thing ever! How many EXCELLENT shows were canceled because of their ridiculous rules! How this company is even still around...well I'll never understand!
One of my favorites. Action, monsters, swords, and a mysterious organisation who is in charge of the warriors called Claymores. Too bad it stops after season 1. I'll have to read the manga.
