Top 10 Best Formula One Tracks
Probably the most unique and prized F1 circuit ever. It poses a backbreaking challenge for the drivers to maintain immense attention and presence of mind.
The second sector is incredibly demanding, with Turn 12 (Tabac) through Turn 14 (Piscine) requiring a tremendous amount of control. A lapse in concentration can not only botch your lap times but also potentially throw you into the guardrails.
I also find the second-to-last turn leading to the pit lane to be very tricky, as it approaches very fast and there's very little room to adjust the car precisely in an attempt to corner it. But once you nail it, the satisfaction level goes through the roof.
Plenty of long straights for overtaking along with the occasional sharp turn to test drivers' skills. What's not to like?
Fast, flowing, dangerous, and deceptive: a true circuit and Formula One's best.
Historic Monza is truly the best.
The Newcomers
I find COTA to be the most dynamic mid-pace circuit. The overtaking opportunities present themselves in many sections, especially towards the end of the second sector.
The curve combinations right after the gorgeous elevated main straight delight both the eyes and the wheels.
Though the track demands a lot physically, it does create a lot of exciting racing. Overtakes don't necessarily mean that the race is more exciting. It's also about drivers' finesse overall.
Detroit at least doesn't kill drivers, but it does deserve at least an honorable mention. This is my opinion, so take it with a pinch of salt.
