Bands Falsely Accused of Having a Bad SingerEliHbk

While Jonathon Davis doesn't have an objectively good voice, the tone of the band works really well with his off putting vocals - kempokid
Jonathan Davis does have a good eerie voice.
I'm a pretty big fan of NIN, and I won't go around saying Reznor has the best voice of all time but it certainly fits the band well. - cjWriter1997
I don't think Reznor's voice is that bad. Sure it may not sound that great nowadays but it was good in the 90s. - Aragorn98
His voice fits the band well - kempokid
Reznor's good - EliHbk
M Shadows doesn't sound very good, especially in the early albums, very whiny. - kempokid
I'll be honest M. Shadows has one of the worst voices I've ever heard in rock music. Even rivaling Hinder his voice is so damn whiny that it hurts.
This list is gonna be a hub for internet fights I'm sure - TwilightKitsune
All these bands shouldn't be on this list except NIN. - Alpha101
Woo, this list really stirs the pot, I love it! - EliHbk
I have to say something, NICKELBUTT SUCKS!V 6 Comments
Depends on which vocalist you're talking about (The band had two different vocalists from different time periods). If you ask me, Howard is better, or at least in clean singing, though both Howard and Jesse are adequate in their own right. - CrimsonShark
Not falsely accused in this case. The singer is very weak and whiny.
That is very debatable. If whining is your thing then sure. - cjWriter1997
I hate Patrick Stump's vocals they're overly whiny and obnoxious.
He kinda sounds like he has a head cold and it gets worse with every word, and kinda reminds me of spongebob singing - EliHbk
SCUSE ME PATRICK IS AMAZING
As a death metal band, other people may get disturbed by the unusual vocals but that's their style and that's the people's thoughts so I shouldn't mess with that - Neonco31
No, now see, they have a really sht vocalist. The cookie monster should have sticked to sesame street - SoldierOfFortune
I hate Death Metal vocalists Corpsegrinder is no exception. He sounds like he's choking on syrup. Plus his growls are godawful.
Uum... I am far from hating them, after 2011 they actually made decent pop/emo music with occasional highlights ("Where's My Wonderland". Please listen to it.) but yeah, Dahvie remains a very limited vocalist and in the beginning of his career he was constantly out of breath. He learned how to use his voice though, in a Marilyn Manson-esque way, and he is one of the few emo/scene vocalists whose screams don't sound like growling or shrieking, but actually like screaming out of emotional pain. But still, technically he isn't that good of a singer. As for Jayy von Monroe (until 2016) and Fallon Vendetta (since 2017), they can sing. Jayy's solo music simply is pop that's not in the slightest edgy, and you will notice he actually has a wider vocal range and more emotion than your average pop star (he uses falsetto vocals on some of his solo songs, but has growled in some older BOTDF songs). Fallon still needs a studio performance focusing on her singing (so far she's more about rapping, ...more - Martin_Canine
Both vocalists went on to be pretty good - EliHbk
Andy's a singer I like but I see why people wouldn't - EliHbk
I think Jeff Magnum's voice is pretty good. I don't get the hate - AllPurposePotato
Because Bryan Stars sounds shrill, unconvincing and rather monotonic. It also doesn't help with the songs that he makes, which worsens the reputation of an already-controversial YouTube celebrity. - CrimsonShark
