Top 10 Best NBA Free Agents in 2019

This Free Agency class has just been amazing. It is probably the best we have had in years. We have a bunch of superstars, second-tier stars, and really good role players. Only players from the 2019 free agent class are allowed.
The Top Ten
1 Kevin Durant Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Nets. He was MVP of the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals.

Durant is an amazing player who has been trending on social media. NBA analysts have been guessing where he'll go ever since he re-signed with Golden State last year. He can go anywhere because almost every team has the cap space to sign him. I'm curious if his recent injury will affect his stock.

I really don't think this injury will be a problem. It's unfortunate, but he's going to recover, and I believe many teams know that. It will ultimately depend on what he wants to do.

2 Kawhi Leonard Kawhi Anthony Leonard is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and the Clippers.

Kawhi has solidified himself as one of the greatest ever, hitting one of the best shots in NBA history. He's one of my all-time favorite players. The playoffs are still happening as I write this. If the Raptors win the Finals, he'll rise to the top spot.

Throughout the playoffs, he's proven himself to be a legitimate player. He's a leader, and if Toronto wins the Finals, it will largely be thanks to him. I guarantee a bunch of teams will offer him substantial deals.

3 Kyrie Irving Kyrie Andrew Irving is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and the Nets.

Kyrie has had an unsuccessful stint with the Celtics. It's time for him to leave. In my opinion, he is the best point guard in the league.

4 Klay Thompson Klay Alexander Thompson is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

The days of Klay Thompson not receiving proper recognition are long gone. He's an assassin in the clutch. If he leaves, it won't be due to money (remember, a player's current team can offer more to their free agents than other teams can). The Warriors organization understands that Thompson is a key component to their success, and the league has become guard-driven.

Your observation of Klay being a top two-way player is spot on, and I can't see the Dubs letting him go. It would be an admission of the dynasty ending. Either way, Klay will soon become very wealthy, but he will leave only if he wants to. I believe he loves the Bay Area and will stay to continue the dynasty. While it's clear that another team will eventually overtake the Warriors, perhaps Klay staying in the Bay will delay that by another two or three years.

5 Jimmy Butler Jimmy Butler III is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association. Born in Houston, Butler grew up in Tomball, Texas, and attended college at Marquette University.

Butler is an excellent two-way player. He makes clutch shots and will be valuable to any team he joins.

6 Tobias Harris Tobias John Harris is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association.

Tobias Harris has demonstrated star potential. I foresee him earning a lot of money, and he should excel next year.

7 Kemba Walker Kemba Hudley Walker is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. He had previously played for the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets from 2011 to 2019, and the Boston Celtics from 2019-2021. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder after... read more

Kemba had a huge season. His team didn't make the playoffs, but he was fantastic. He should secure a substantial payday next year.

8 DeMarcus Cousins DeMarcus Amir Cousins is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association.

He is coming off another injury, and Boogie is probably quite upset. I think next season, he will play with determination and try to earn his money.

9 Kristaps Porzingis Kristaps Porzingis is a Latvian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association. He is 7 ft 3 in tall, and plays both the power forward and center positions.

Porzingis is another player coming off an injury. The Mavs will likely match any offer because they traded for him.

10 Khris Middleton

Khris Middleton had a great season. He's a knockdown scorer and should be highly valued.

The Contenders
11 D'Angelo Russell D'Angelo Danté Russell is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball League.

I'm very intrigued by D'Lo. He will probably re-sign with the Nets.

12 Patrick Beverley

A highly sought-after free agent who can contribute to any team.

13 Enes Kanter
14 Al Horford Alfred Joel Horford Reynoso is a Dominican professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association.
15 Nikola Vucevic
16 J.J. Redick

This would be a smart signing for any team struggling with three-point shooting. I'm looking at you, Timberwolves.

17 Marcus Morris
18 Terry Rozier
19 Aron Baynes
20 Julius Randle Julius Deion Randle is an American professional basketball player for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association.
21 Marc Gasol Marc Gasol Sáez is a Spanish professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association.
22 Brook Lopez Brook Robert Lopez is an American professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association.
23 Malcolm Brogdon
24 Derrick Rose Derrick Martell Rose is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association.
25 Bojan Bogdanovic
