The Top Ten
1 Miami Heat The Miami Heat is an American professional basketball team based in Miami, Florida. The Heat compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Southeast Division.

Not only do we have a solid veteran who has a height advantage over others at 6'10 for a forward, but he can definitely free up the Heat on both defense and offense. Not only that, but the man can and will shoot the three without hesitation.

The Heat's lineup also permits them to rotate players through different positions, whereas a lot of other teams can't do the same. For example, LeBron James can play either the 1st, 2nd, or 4th position. Wade can play the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, etc. Lakers beware.

For one, LeBron is a beast, and so is Dwyane. They're teaming up and always looking out for each other. Everyone thinks the Pacers will beat Miami, but the Bulls just lost by a couple of points, and we both know Miami is way better than the Bulls. So, in the end, Miami will win. They're on their 14th winning streak. Go LeBron! I hope Miami wins - LeBron, Wade, and Bosh deserve it. Good luck, Heat.

2 Los Angeles Lakers The Los Angeles Lakers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles. The Lakers compete in the National Basketball Association, as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division.

Head coach: Frank Vogel

They will win because they have Kobe, Dwight, Pau, Artest, and Steve Nash. Dwight will get a monster number of rebounds. Gasol is one of the best big-man post players. Artest is the best Lakers defender. Nash has tons of assists and is not selfish with the ball. And last but certainly not least, Kobe Bryant will be next year's scoring champion.

The Lakers have become the instant favorite to win the Championship in 2013 with the additions of veteran Steve Nash and number one center Dwight Howard. Add that to the duo of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol, and you've got a pretty good chance at winning it all. And this is coming from a Celtics fan, by the way.

3 Boston Celtics The Boston Celtics are an American professional basketball team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They are specifically known for honing infamous players such as Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Paul Pierce, and more. They are also known for having the most championships in NBA History, with 17 total.

The Celtics still have Rajon Rondo, the best assister in 2011-12, and Paul Pierce, a great scorer and three-point shooter. Garnett, who is kind of old but still great. Ray Allen, who is on the Heat now, but he is old. And Doc Rivers, one of the best coaches.

The Celtics also have Jason Terry and Courtney Lee. Just imagine that bench, including Jeff Green and Avery Bradley, too! I'm a die-hard Celtics fan, and I think #18 will RISE this season.

The Celtics have and will always be a great team. So what if they don't have Ray Allen? Rajon Rondo will take his place.

4 Oklahoma City Thunder The Oklahoma City Thunder are an American professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Durant and Westbrook. One of the best scorers in the league, with frequent 40+ point games. Ibaka, the best blocker in the league. Perkins, stable manning the center. And Harden, the best 6th man in the league. Plus, they are young and explosive, which can surprise teams like the Lakers.

At the end of the season, they got 1st in their conference. Kevin Durant is doing better compared to last season. Serge Ibaka, the best blocker in the NBA, is going to play.

They're a good team with more than 10 years left. Fighting against more veteran teams, they can win it this time.

5 San Antonio Spurs The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team based in San Antonio, Texas. The Spurs compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Southwest Division.

Deepest team in the league! Their bench can beat half of the NBA's starting lineups! Timmy is the best PF in NBA history, and Manu is the greatest sixth man in history! Tony is taking the reins!

Um, only the Miami Heat beat them at the end. They were supposed to win, but the Heat beat them, and this should have been at least TWO!

The bench almost beat Miami, and Miami needed a miracle shot to win.

6 New York Knicks The New York Knickerbockers, commonly referred to as the Knicks, are an American professional basketball team based in the borough of Manhattan, in New York City.

The Lakers are off to a rough start, but the Knicks have only lost one game! I love the Knicks!

They are going all the way! Let's do it! Amar'e and Carmelo are going to bring home the NBA championship.

The Knicks are going to win it all! Miami better look out because the Knicks are coming!

7 Los Angeles Clippers The Los Angeles Clippers, often abbreviated as the LA Clippers, are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles.

The Clippers have the best team this year. I think they're going to surprise everybody and get the championship this year.

I think the Clippers are really going to take it this year! GO CLIPPERS!

The Clippers are the best team in the league right now because of CP3 and BG.

The way that Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are playing, I think they have a chance to go to the Finals if they can beat experienced teams.

Hey, the Golden State Warriors beat LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

16 Brooklyn Nets The Brooklyn Nets are an American professional basketball team based in the borough of Brooklyn, in New York City. The Nets compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
