Top 10 Best Powerpuff Girls Characters

The Top Ten
1 Bubbles Bubbles is the deuteragonist in the animated television series The Powerpuff Girls, along with her sisters Blossom and Buttercup. She was created in 1992 by Craig McCraken for Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls . She has blonde hair in two pigtails, blue eyes, blue dress with a black belt, and white ...read more.

Bubbles is adorable and sweet, she deserves to be in No.1, she deserves love. Buttercup and Blossom are cool too, but they are sometimes rude towards Bubbles. You all say Bubbles is also rude towards Buttercup, it's because she's only doing it to defend herself and toughen up. Bubbles is a crybaby but aren't we all as well? Bubbles is relatable, stop hating on her, your just hating on her because you are just like her. I Love Bubbles Very Much, I loved Buttercup when I was 4-5 years old, now that I'm already here, I pretty much relate to Bubbles. Bubbles deserves better and lots of love. I'm glad that she's No.1, she is sweet, cute, caring and lovable.

Basic take, but Bubbles is my favorite character. She's just so cute, funny, adorable, goofy, and enjoyable. She really lights up the show, it wouldn't be the same without her :)

I am really close to having Bubbles become one of my least favorite characters in the show. I liked her, but since she gets way too much undeserved attention and is the least likable of the trio, I am liking her less and less every time. She cries a lot and plays the victim, and she is kinda annoying sometimes. She is definitely the least likable out of the three. And so overrated, she gets too much attention that she makes better characters like Blossom and Buttercup underrated, I see her everywhere when it comes to PPG and not Blossom and Buttercup. She is only liked for being cute, I am sorry to say.

Bubbles is in my opinion the most relatable character in the series. Bubbles exactly represents my inner kid. There are characters that come close to that but Bubbles hits the nail right on the head. A lot of my favorite episodes of this show are Bubbles episodes like Neighbor Hood, Octi Evil, Bubblevicious (who could forget about that episode, legend), Octi Gone, City of Nutsville, Mime For A Change, All Chalked Up, and Stray Bullet. Buttercup is a very close second and while it was the little Mary Sue Dirt Bag of the trio at first, put an end to that real fast. Also you know what I love about Octi Evil? I love it because it's very personal to me. The other two girls in this episode remind me of my parents. I've grown up with them being divorced from when I was 3 or 4 to nowadays when I'm a teenager. A rough time. I can connect with Bubbles and her struggle in this episode. Bubbles you can never be replaced.

2 Buttercup Buttercup is the one of the three main characters in the show The Powerpuff Girls. She was first created by Craig McCracken in 1992. She has short raven hair and green eyes with a green dress. She is known as the "toughest fighter" for her tomboyish attitude, being aggressive, and her love for fighting ...read more.

What can I say about her that hasn't already been said! She's the best of the three! I also think her name kinda fits her: Originally when I thought of the word buttercup I thought it was a type of candy, but it was actually just a kind of flower and was not edible. As for her: Buttercup may look like a sweet little girl and her name may make it sound that way. But she's really the tough one, and has a very firey personality

I admire this character because I see more than just a tomboy acting tough, I see a neglected girl who's hiding her sensitive side and just wishes to be special.

With the least amount of episodes centered on her, Buttercup just seems like an ignored character by the creators. Her only unique power is that she can curl her tongue, and her name was given to her just because it started with a 'B'. I feel that her rough attitude is there as a way to bottle up her pain from others seeing this.

She's still just a girl in the end with feelings and emotions that wish to be attend for, but being overshadowed by her sisters and others is what drives her passion for being the spiciest of the girls.

She is my favorite, I feel very sorry for her being the most hated and treated like she is useless. She actually did so many good things to the team in fact the Powerpuff Girls would be weak if it weren't for her. Even Blossom, who is the smartest, called her a genius. She corrected Bubbles eye vision, Bubbles needs her vision or else how can she save the day and the team would be weakened. Buttercup does most of the work and is willing to help, not just sit there and be lazy. She was in fact the one who found an easier way to fight enemies, proven in the movie. She may bully and have insecurities, but I can relate to her in those situations. She also has no special power, which is not fair, and feels like she is not special, which makes me feel sorry for her. But guess what? She does not needed because she is gifted to be naturally strong. She is little bit of everything, from intelligence, to cuteness, to toughness, to happiness and more.

I love Buttercup because she stands out. Among the three she's the most relatable one. Bubbles is the girly-girl stereotype (that episode when she went evil was pretty cool though) and she's those rare girls that don't really exist. Blossom is the smart leader and again not many are just born that way, she's an ideal hard to reach.
Buttercup is however the most realistic of the three (in my opinion). She violent yes, but what kid wasn't? She's impatient and impulsive, like a million of other girls and boys. She wants to kick butt, and what kid doesn't want to kick the butts of the evil guys?
While each girl represents a stereotype, Buttercup comes off as a real person. It also helps that she's so badass and strong, making her my favorite character.

3 Blossom Blossom is the leader of The Powerpuff Girls and one of the three main protaganists of the show. She was created in 1992 by Craig McCracken. She has long, red hair up in a ponytail with a giant red bow, pink eyes, pink dress with black belt, and white socks with Mary Jane shoes. She is intelligent, ...read more.

I already liked her *before* she was canonically confirmed to be the most powerfully of the trio, but after watching "Stuck Up, Up, and Away" she became solidified as my favorite character in the show.

I can relate to this character in almost every way. We both have very good grades, we both love our siblings, we both CAN sometimes have problems with egos etc. In my opinion, even though I like the other sisters, I believe Blossom should be treated better by PPG fans. Even though she is pretty weird sometimes, without her (the mastermind), the PPG's would be weak. There needs to be Sugar, Spice, and Blossom (everything nice). Deserves to be treated better. You go, Blossom!

Blossom is the least liked character because she's vain, arrogant and headstrong. She is strict when it comes to morals and manners and seems to be very straight-laced, which is the character that not too many people are fond of.

That said, Blossom is the most underrated because it's easier to see this side of her rather than her more epic side in episodes. Just look at her in 'Stuck up, up and Away' when she beats the heck out of Princess after she defeats her sisters. Whereas Buttercup and Bubbles attacked her head on, Blossom let her come at her and proceeds to kick her butt. While being cute, it is quite obvious that her plans lead her sisters to victory. What makes Blossom epic is that not only does she have as much the brute force as her sisters, she is smart. She's the one that OUTSMARTS the villains on numerous occasions, which is bad ass, no? Don't forget the movie where she shows the girls how fighting was the only way to save Townsville from the monkeys. Buttercup ...more

Wish they focused more on Blossom because when you compare the girls' own episodes, she has the least amount of episodes about her. Geez, Buttercup and Bubbles usually get some slack if they make mistakes in Townsville but take a glimpse at an episode dedicated to Blossom and she'll be humiliated or yelled at. And don't say she deserves this, because she's flawed, not some boring Mary-Sue. She was the only one fit to be a leader and is naturally smart and a goody-two shoes, there's nothing wrong with that. Sure, she's bossy, because, well, that's just how she is. I love all of them but wow, she's really hated for silly reasons. And to some haters that say the team would be better without her, the Powerpuff Girls would never exist in the first place without her leadership. She's there for a reason, ugh. She's also human"she doubts herself when she's the leader, the blame falls on her when a plan doesn't work, and look at episodes about her. Personally, I find her situations the ...more

4 Mojo Jojo Mojo Jojo is a fictional character from the American animated television series, The Powerpuff Girls, created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network.

Of all the animated villains I know, this is one of them that is constantly being thwarted by his protagonistic counterpart. Mojo's honour of me liking Mojo over HIM is being echoed through his stunts, which include gathering all the bad guys to form a league of supervillains, to reverse engineering the Powerpuff DNA, and making evil twins of the Powerpuff Girls out of it.

Mojo Jojo is an abseloutely unique character! From his exposed mutated brain, to having his own redundant and epic way of speaking and Japanese anime-esque megalomanic voice and personality, he is defenetly the best thing this show had to offer (though 5 year old girls who are also superhuman vigilantes is also a terrific idea). He is neutral in his actions, and doesn't take crap from no one.

Supervillain chimps with giant brains, you can't beat that.

I always liked Mojo Jojo. He is the most flawed villain, and is certainly the easiest to relate to.

Mojo Jojo is also very likeable, as long as you don't do that would piss him off, than he would beat the crap out of you.

Mojo Jojo is my favourite Powerpuff Girls villain. Weirdly enough, his voice is the best part about him. It sounds so evil but also kinda silly? I don't know. He kinda reminds me of Discord.

5 Him

Since Mojo Jojo has a lot of episodes which make him pretty harmless or at least not pure evil, this is a villain that perfectly fits this description. Him is evil incarnate, which makes sense since he's basically Satan. He torments the girls more psychologically than physically, and feeds off of hatred and pain. Of all the villains in the show, Him is by far the most evil AND the scariest. Just his voice alone is enough to creep you out. Don't get me wrong, I find Mojo Jojo more fun to watch, but if we're talking about who's the more sinister and threatening villain, it's definitely Him.

Best bad guy in the Powerpuff Girls. Mojo Jojo is lame, Princess Morbucks is just a spoilt brat, while HIM is the best. Every time I see his character on screen, I feel scared and excited. HIM is the best.

Him is a great example of the perfect villain. Funny, but still gets the job done. Chilling to the very bone! Nightmare inducing. Psychologically hypnotizing. And an amazing voice talent too!

While I do like Mojo Jojo, he seemed more for laughs and was pretty simple to defeat. Him is not.

Him is badass as HELL (which is where he comes from heh). There was even an episode where powerpuff girls couldn't defeat him. He is the only true intimidating character in this show (and oddly likeable). Love him and Aku

6 Professor Utonium

What an underrated character, though Buttercup is my fave, I had to talk about this one. He loves his girls SO unconditionally, no matter what they do. In the episode Knock It Of, his love saves the girls life. He does so much in the series yet gets NO love at all! He's Brave, caring, wise, and knows what is best for the girls.

He's so kind and funny. A brilliant father figure.

The best cartoon dad ever. Let's just ignore the reboot one, and apreciatte the original one.

7 Brick Brick is a fictional character from The Powerpuff Girls. He belongs to the group in the show called The Rowdyruff Boys. He is known to be the leader of The Rowdyruff Boys and for being mean to Boomer, his brother. He has red hair with bangs, but when he returned, his bangs were removed and his hair ...read more.

Brick is the best RRB. I noticed that Brick has a lot in common with Buttercup even though they are not the same counterpart, more than Blossom. The only thing that Blossom and Brick have in common is that they look the same and are both leaders. Brick and Buttercup are pretty much the most angriest, short tempered, and enraged, both are the most revengeful and competative, both like to solve things with fighting and like it as a hobby, both are mean to their blue members a lot( Brick to Boomer and Buttercup to Bubbles). They also don't like to be sensitive and they both think they are the strongest and the best. There are so many things in common with Brick and Buttercup.

He is awesome! I only like Buttercup better than Brick. Other than that, he is the second best character of the show. The way he talks is so funny, he makes me laugh. I like how he punches Boomer every time he talks.

I ship brick with buttercup. They both get angry easily, mean to their blue members, they both like to solve things with fighting, they are the strogest members in their group. They have a lot of things in common, not looks.

My favorite Rowdyruff Boy, he is so awesome! He is like the boy version of Buttercup, even though he is the boy version of Blossom, he acts more like Buttercup though.

8 Boomer

I like him more than his counterpart, he is really funny for being dumb. And he sometimes can be so dumb that it is funny. He is bad, but he is entertaining, and treated bad by Brick.

He is cute and funny, why can't he be in the top ten.

I like Boomer he is my fave RowdyRuff Boy!

Boomer is soo cute and funny.

9 Butch

Butch is so amazing! I just love this character! Plus his hairs, they look so tough! I mostly like when he is twitching and when is he exited, even thought some people despise him for that, I find that unique and funny to watch.

WHAT?! How could you think he looks like Vegeta? There's just a small resemblance at their hairstyles, nothing else. Furthermore, along with the hairstyles, the title "Powerpuff Girls Z" clearly shows that the creator of Powerpuff Girls are copying Dragon Ball Z!

I prefer Butch in PPGZ over the original, his voice is cuter he looks much better in PPGZ. In the original, Butch has a weird voice and he is not very cute, he acts very weird as well, I prefer Brick. Though the original show is kinda better than PPGZ.

Butch became my absolute favourite PPG villain when I first heard of the Rowdyruff Boys. I even like the cowlick more than the colour.

10 Mayor of Townsville

He is hilarious! I love how sensitive he is!

Can you open my jar of pickles?

The Contenders
11 Ms. Sara Bellum

She was super smart and pretty much told the mayor what he should do. despite her gorgeous looks, that wasn't her strongest trait, it was her intelligence. Honestly she is way more of feminist icon than Wonder Woman.

She's so kind and nice. In the episode where the PPG were arrested, Miss Bellum was the only one who believed them.

I love her. I hate that she is not in the reboot.

12 Ms. Keane

The girls' sweet teacher

Must be the girls mom.

13 Ace
14 Sedusa

Sedusa is the master of planning and getting away. Of course the girls can always catch her.

She is seductively sexy

15 Brute

She's such a tomboy that when I first saw her I thought she was male!

Best PPNKG ever! She is so awesome. Buttercup and Brick rock as well.

16 Fuzzy Lumpkins Fuzzy Lumpkins is a fictional character from the American animated television series, The Powerpuff Girls, created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network.
17 The Boogie Man
18 Sapna Nehru
19 Brat

I love her she's so pretty!

20 Bunny

To think that impostor Bliss would disgrace Bunny by taking her place as the fourth Powerpuff Girl in the reboot. From then on and onwards, the reboot is only serving to make me appreciate more of the original series. And Bunny was one of the most memorable (and tragic) moments in the original. Sure, she was ugly and not perfect, but at the end of the day, when she would sacrifice herself to save her sisters who created her by setting right what was once wrong with the criminals, Bunny was truly a good sister, a good person, and most importantly, a Powerpuff Girl. One that we could never forget next to Bullet.

I love Bunny so much. I feel so bad for her.

Such a sad episode!

She really didn't deserve to be destroyed, but at least she saved the powerpuff girls

21 Robin

Her debut episode left both a heartbreaking and heartwarming impression on me. In her debut episode Superfriends, she moves in as a neighbor next to Professor Utonium and the Powerpuff Girls. Bubbles would quickly befriend her and introduce her to her sisters, quickly making all of them become the best of friends. They got to hang out and play around with each other for a while until The Mayor started using a signal in the sky to get The Powerpuff Girls to fight off monsters and crime. What follows is a rather tear-jerking but awesome song going along with a montage of Robin being left alone as the girls go off to fight crime and save the day every time they try and get together. I felt even more sorry for Robin when she had to look to that brat Princess Morbucks for friendship. It was even worse when Morbucks tried to manipulate her by forcing her to rob a grocery store and frame her just so the rich spoiled princess could become a Powerpuff Girl. Thankfully, the Powerpuff Girls are ...more

They deserve a friend. Congrats! she should be in more episodes!

22 Bullet

I almost cried during her episode.

23 Bliss

So unessecary! I hate the fact that the Professor had another daughter!

24 Snake

Snake deserves some love!

Snake is the best!
