  1. Percy Jackson

    Perseus "Percy" Jackson is a fictional character, the title character and narrator of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. He is a demigod, the son of Poseidon and a mortal woman named Sally Jackson. Percy first appears in the novel The Lightning Thief.

    I liked that he was pretty cool with the whole Jason thing. I mean, they both resented each other a little bit at least at one point, but Percy was cool about it. I haven't read The House of Hades yet, so I don't know about Jason.

    Percy didn't try to deny the tiny bit of resentment, and he didn't act rashly either. I respect him for that.

    And yes, I think flying isn't as cool as breathing underwater. (ever heard of Pegasi or even an airplane?) I'd love Percy's gifts. More than Jason's.

    but I also hate this Team Jason/Team Percy thing going on. Don't support it.

    Percy is obviously #1! He was the original narrator who has a talent of making you keep reading his adventures. No other character can beat him at that. He beated the god of war with barely any training at age 12. He even defeated Kronos himself! By far the best, and is very humble and kind. Always willing to sacrifice himself for his friends. I mean even the title of this poll says his name.

    He has gone through so much and is an amazing inspiration to everyone. Especially anyone struggling with mental illness. He is also adorable and so incredibly kind! After everything he has gone through, after all of the hate he has been given, he still puts his own life at risk to help other people, because that is just who he is. He us selfless and kind. He is also incredibly strong, physically and mentally. He can rival any of the 7 main demigods despite being considerably younger than them. He can rival any demigod, actually. He's also hot but that's besides the point. He has an amazing personality: funny, loving, protective, sarcastic, loyal, intelligent, independent, strategic, empathetic, modest, strong, and so much more. Nico definitely deserves Number 1 on this list.

  3. Leo Valdez

    Leo Valdez is a major character from the book series Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan. He is one of the seven demigods mentioned in the Prophecy of Seven. A Greek demigod and the son of Hephaestus, Leo possesses the ability to create and manipulate fire, a power known as pyrokinesis.

    He's got that sense of humor! He's brave in his own funny way. I love it when he swore on the Styx to come back to Calypso. Or when he said he was probably worth "like, 2 or 3 Franks? " I died. Or in trials of apollo when the dark prophecy was revealed he asked "What was that? Buy one prophecy, get three free? " I found that funny.

    Honestly my favorite. He gives you the FEELS! Frank and Jason are really awesome to, Frank was kind of like the klutz out of the seven but in the Blood of Olympus he really proved he could do it. Jason was a hero!

    Jason sacrificed his life to save his friends. He also has some amazing powers, like using lightning upon a person. He also grew up in a harsh enviroment, and learned to be a leader.

    Jason Grace does nothing. He's a lost cause that never really helped the 7 during their quest. Everyone else did something big... what did he do?

    I love Jason and Percy. Anyone who does not like ALL of the character does not deserve to be called a fan of this series.
