Pančevo is a beautiful, modern, and rich city. It is the 6th largest city in Serbia and the 3rd largest city in Vojvodina, with around 100,000 people living there. Pančevo has one of the largest industrial sectors in Serbia (and had a prominent role in the former Yugoslavia as well). The city is located along two rivers: the Tamiš and the Danube.
The population is predominantly Orthodox Christian (51%, mostly Serbs), with a significant Catholic minority (40%, mostly Hungarians). Here's a more detailed breakdown of the demographics:

The city features a sports center with pitches for basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, handball, futsal, cricket, and baseball. There is also an indoor sports hall with courts for basketball, handball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and indoor swimming pools. Pančevo has 2 soccer academies (Dinamo and Železničar).
The largest soccer stadium is Gradski Stadion, with 16,000 seats (home of Dinamo). Omoljica
Omoljica is a big village near Pančevo. Omoljica has nearly 10,000 people and the Nadel River. You should visit the city centre, cinema, and the Starčevačko-Omoljički Bridge, which is the "crossbar" between the villages of Omoljica and Starčevo.
Or you can just go and relax in the forest or on the quay near the Nadel River.

Sibnica is a very small village between Belgrade and Pančevo. About 88 people live in Sibnica. You should visit it if you love fishing, and there are some fishing festivals with delicious food. Sibnica is 5 km from Pančevo and 10 km from Belgrade.
