It breaks my heart not to see London at its rightful place. Beautiful, historical, charming, elegant. London is welcoming, with friendly, intelligent, funny individuals. It's the only place I can truly call home.

It captured my heart the very first time my parents took me to visit at the age of seven. I now work in central London and adore every second I spend there. I even travel back on weekends just to be 'home' again.

I would love to live and settle down there. It's the capital of England, Great Britain, and yes, the world!

Edinburgh is one of the best cities in the world (in my opinion). It has amazing attractions and monuments, and Edinburgh Castle is outstanding. It often holds a show called the 'Edinburgh Tattoo', and it is amazing.

If you are ever looking for a day out, visit Edinburgh!

The most beautiful city in the UK. London has the size, but Edinburgh is more of a looker.

Beautiful city. Kind locals and great shopping. Very clean and safe, even in the festival season.

3 Manchester

My family, the Hollingworths, is from there. We even have a little part of it named Hollingworth. My family was the first family in America in 1607 Jamestown and started their journey from Manchester. I have never been to England, but I bet Manchester is the best.

I'm from Manchester, and I'm so glad I live here! It is amazingly homey and cozy!

Only one word is needed to prove that Manchester is one of the greatest cities in the world, not just the UK: Oasis. That is all.

4 Liverpool Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough in Merseyside, England. As of 2018, the population is approximately 494,814.

Amazing city! By far the best place in the UK. Probably the best city for music in the world and has loads of tourist attractions.

Really a beautiful city with free WiFi and a vibrant environment.

Best by far. Just see it at night.

Most underrated but up-and-coming city in the country.

It is a fantastic city - vibrant, interesting, and a lot bigger than you think if you explore it.

Glasgow rules. True Scots live here!

9 York

I've been here. It's such a beautiful city. The downtown area consists of beautiful medieval architecture. The main showpiece is definitely the cathedral.

The entrance to it is just grand, and the inside has a beautiful nave. Views from the cathedral's tower are stunning. York also has a couple of interesting ruins, such as the ruins of an abbey located near the river. York is also a great city as it has a large train museum.

I love York so much. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful, peaceful city. I love it!

10 Bristol

Bristol has become a lovely city to live in. Okay, the buses could be run better, but it is now a relaxing, diverse city with plenty of things to do for the whole family.

As with any city, it has things that could be improved, but I know that whatever I am going to do in my day, it's going to be a good day out, whether it is family-oriented or just adult entertainment. There are all kinds of festivals with a great atmosphere.

We have the benefit of easy access to other nearby places like Clifton, Weston Super Mare, Gloucestershire, or Bath, or crossing the bridge to Wales for a complete change, depending on how we feel. As Bristol is now, I am very happy to be here.

The Peace Gardens are the most beautiful thing in the evening.

13 Brighton
14 Bath

The most beautiful city in the world, without a doubt.

Best city in the world, hands down.

15 Cambridge
16 Southampton

Great history, great shopping, great green space, and great nightlife. However, it needs to make better use of tourists and advertise what's on more, as it is the busiest cruise port in Europe.

It is surrounded by nice places like Winchester and the New Forest as well.

17 Hull
18 Cardiff

Beautiful coastal city. I felt totally safe walking around here as opposed to my home city, Birmingham.

19 Chichester

I love Chichester. It's my home. Also, there are beautiful buildings like the cathedral.

Great and wonderful place. Only that the trams are so slow. Heck, the old ones are faster than the modern ones.

22 Dundee
23 Oxford
24 Belfast Belfast is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, the second-largest city in Ireland after Dublin, and is situated around the River Lagan, which runs through the city.

Very nice city. It has a great history and has easy connections to other areas. Beautiful surroundings as well.
