Best Pirates of the Caribbean Movies
The Pirates franchise, launched with The Curse of the Black Pearl back in 2003, delivered some of the most iconic characters, thrilling sea battles, and incredible fantasy worlds we'd ever seen on screen. These movies take you on a journey through cursed treasure hunts, legendary sea creatures, and alliances as shaky as a pirate's moral compass. And, of course, every adventure has been brought to life by the unforgettable Captain Jack Sparrow, whose antics are impossible not to enjoy, along with his memorable crew and rivals.
Was there really any doubt that this would be number 1? Supreme plotline, humor, story, action, and plot twists - this one definitely takes the cake.
Not saying that the others were bad, just that this one was something else entirely.
Nothing beats this original. This will always be the best movie of 2003, as well as the best Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The first ones are always the best, except for Terminator 2.

Davy Jones is by far the best antagonist in the franchise.

At World's End is the best out of all the movies! Should be #1!
Argh! This is clearly the best one! Glad On Stranger Tides is on 5 now though.
Jack is hilarious in this movie!

Love the new couple, Henry and Carina. Henry is so much like his father, wanting his dad home, even though fate doesn't seem to be working well for the Turner family.
The special effects are impressive in this movie, plus great performances by Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, and the actor who plays Salazar.
Another good spinoff, with a better villain and characters than On Stranger Tides.
It's a shame that they completely butchered Jack.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I love this movie. I'm so glad Elizabeth is gone. Jack is hilarious (as always), the mermaids are quite creepy, and Angelica is a great character.
I know this isn't the best Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but it doesn't deserve to be at the very bottom.
This is so over-hated. Sure, it wasn't as good as the first three, but it was still funny. Blackbeard was a pretty good villain.
I actually liked it. As long as Jack is in it, I'll watch it.
