The other half of the main duo. Unlike Barley, Ian lacks confidence in himself and tries to avoid trouble whenever possible. That is until he is able to revive half of his father, which sets in motion his and Barley's journey to find the other stone and finish the spell to bring their father back for one day. Ian, despite caring for his older brother, does get annoyed by how impulsive Barley can be but comes to realize that, despite not knowing much about his father, Barley has always been the one who was there for him.

Ian's older brother, voiced by Chris Pratt, who's the more adventurous of the two and longs for a magical quest, which he and Ian get when he discovers Ian is able to do magic after reviving half of their father. Adventurous, impulsive, and always there for Ian, even after their father died.

Aka the Manticore, a former warrior now reduced to a businesswoman at her tavern, which has now become a family food restaurant. When Barley and Ian show up for her help in getting the map to a gem that will help them finish reviving their deceased father, Ian reminds her of who she used to be. She realizes how boring her life has become and has a massive breakdown and destroys the restaurant and the map. She eventually teams up with Ian and Barley's mother when she realizes she forgot to warn the brothers about the curse.

At first, she was going to give it to them for a reasonable price until Manticore reveals how valuable it is, and she jacks up the price as she laughs at them, not caring about the predicament Laurel's sons are in. Thankfully, she gets what's coming as Corey knocks her out with her scorpion tail while Manticore and Laurel make off with the sword.
