Top 10 Film Directors Who are Terrible People

Pretty much what it says on the tin, beyond how this list isn't limited to whether the filmmakers in question are good or bad at their profession, but rather whether they are terrible as general human beings.
The Top Ten
1 Roman Polanski Roman Polanski is a French-Polish film directer, best known for Repulsion (1965), Rosemary's Baby (1968), and Chinatown (1974). Child rapist who has avoided punishment for over 40 years... but the man knows how to direct a good movie. Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown, The Pianist... this man has made many brilliant films.

This man should be HANGED for what he did there is NO excuse for he did to that child whatsoever.

3 Stanley Kubrick Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, and photographer. He is frequently cited as one of the greatest and most influential directors in cinematic history. He died at the age of 71.

The way he treated Shelley Duvall on in The Shining was pretty deplorable. Not to mention how he screwed Sidney Lumet over among other things doesn't help his reputation.

Stanley Kubrick is a great director but an awful person.

4 Uwe Boll Uwe Boll is a German-born Canadian filmmaker and restaurateur, whose work includes several films adapted from video games.

He can't take criticism for his garbage movies, in fact I'd like to see him take on an MMA Fighter that talks about his trash movies. Not to mention he has insane fanboys

Tax-dodging pansy who can't take criticism and wanted to fight his critics. What a clown.

He's the Donald Trump of Movies in fact he's also a Trump Supporter.

5 Spike Lee

Whingey politically correct doofus who likes to pull out the race card whenever he can, even if it disregards history (like his moaning over the film Flags Of Our Feathers) and nearly put an innocent family in danger after releasing their home address, thinking it was George Zimmerman. Clint Eastwood was right. This cretin should learn to 'shut his face'.

His movies are awful, don't care for his personality.

6 Frank Miller

Racist, sexist and utterly nasty human being who whinges about how America doesn't do enough to fight their enemies, all the while not being arsed to fight on the frontlines himself. Grant Morrison was right about this stupid clown.

7 Mel Gibson Mel Colmcille Gerard Gibson AO is an American actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his action hero roles, namely his breakout role as Max Rockatansky in the first three films in the Mad Max post-apocalyptic action series, and as Martin Riggs in the Lethal Weapon buddy cop film series.

I loved his performances as an actor, and it was very sad to realize he is racist

Beyond ruining modern cinema and letting his ego ruin many of his films, he is also an unstomachable person too. His pompous and arsey behaviour in his interviews makes him extremely unlikable, while his political views are those of a deranged millionaire moron. His claim that cops are killers at a Black Lives Matter event left a sour taste in the mouth, since most cops aren't so and are paid a pittance of what this guy makes to protect all the millions he has.

Tarantino can be pretty pompous, but by golly is he far from a terrible person. And ruining modern cinema? Since when?

10 Alfred Hitchcock Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock, was an English-American film director and producer, at times referred to as "The Master of Suspense".

Don't forget this guy. He told the actress from "Tye Birds" that he would use mechanical birds, and eventually attacked her with real birds. Also user, Tarantino didn't ruin modern cinema and is actually a chill guy

This little botch is such a great director why did he have to be such a creep
