Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, and photographer. He is frequently cited as one of the greatest and most influential directors in cinematic history. He died at the age of 71. The way he treated Shelley Duvall on in The Shining was pretty deplorable. Not to mention how he screwed Sidney Lumet over among other things doesn't help his reputation.

His pompous and arsey behaviour in his interviews makes him extremely unlikable, while his political views are those of a deranged millionaire moron. His claim that cops are killers at a Black Lives Matter event left a sour taste in the mouth, since most cops aren't so and are paid a pittance of what this guy makes to protect all the millions he has.
