Top 10 Most Disappointing Teams of the 2022 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Has there been a team with a worse Super Bowl hangover than the Rams? I can't think of one that comes to mind or even comes close. The Rams really bought that Super Bowl ring and now it's like they don't care. They can't intentionally tank either since they mortgaged their draft picks to get a lot of their players for that ring. Matthew Stafford reverted back to Detroit form. Cooper Kupp was the highlight of the offense, when he was healthy that is. And everyone else is so checked out they're honestly pathetic to watch.

2 Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

Broncos Country, how's that ride treating you? Are you ready for it to end yet? All off-season long we heard the "Let's Ride" phrase. We thought all the Broncos needed was a quarterback. We thought chef Russ would cook and save the day. Little did we realize Nathaniel Hackett was in over his head and should be fired after this season for some of the questionable decisions he made. Broncos even paid Russ before even seeing him play a game and turns out he would massively underperform most games. The offense couldn't score a touchdown like they were allergic to the end zone or something Your offense was so non existent until the KC game like you were thinking it would make a difference now when it's too late. It says something when you're like the 3rd team eliminated from the playoffs after signing a big name quarterback to a massive contract. Broncos Country, you tried.

3 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

Lol Pack Lol. What you're experiencing is your window of contention slamming shut and it's glorious to see. I know I'm a Bears fan but at least I know my team is bad. We have no expectations. The Packers tried to make this their last dance but look what happened. You lose to the Giants, Jets, Commanders, Lions; all winnable games. Heck, the Detroit Lions are ahead of you in the standings. I still know plenty of Packers fans who foolishly believe they can make the playoffs this season. Davante must have been a bigger part of the team than we thought. Just admit it's the end of an era. Offense is inconsistent, defense is inconsistent, nothing is going right, and nobody feels sorry for you.

4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

This team got humiliated on national television by the 49ers. Led by Brock Purdy. They should have to apologize to all of America for having to witness that game. It was so bad Fox pulled the game off air to put on Sam Darnold and Geno Smith. Yes, this is our reality. Tom Brady is nearing his end. Looks like Father Time will always remain undefeated because Tom Brady certainly looks washed. This team is inconsistent and shaky as hell. Who are the Bucs really? They should be dominating with how awful their division is, but instead they're playing just as bad. If they make it in the playoffs it'll be because they won their awful division, and it'll be a quick one and done in the playoffs.

5 Arizona Cardinals The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football franchise based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The Cardinals… where to even start? How about that Kyler Murray extension? They had that clause that he had to study game film so many hours a week. What is he a High Schooler? They also extended their GM and Kliff Kingsbury for no apparent reason seeing as neither one has accomplished anything. Kingsbury is the king of collapsing late in the season, and well, they have lost 5 of their last 6. They are a total clown show and Kyler Murray being out for the season should be the final straw. Better luck next year. Maybe the whole team should be required to study film each week.

6 Las Vegas Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger... read more

If only the Raiders were smart and kept Rich Bisaccia around, but that would be too logical for this franchise. Instead they hire Josh McDaniels, a former Patriots coordinator, because they are such great head coaches! Hell, he had a failed stint as Denver's coach. But who cares? They were supposed to be competitive and maybe win the division! Unfortunately Davante Adams will not solve all your problems. The defense is still a massive liability. Josh Jacobs is fairly decent otherwise the team itself is inconsistent. Did I mention Josh McDaniels is a hack? They blew a 20-0 lead to the Cardinals, failed to show up against New Orleans, blew a 17-0 lead to Jacksonville, lost to the Colts... the Colts led by Jeff Saturday... and then blew a 16-3 lead to the Rams on their last leg led by Baker Mayfield who had been on the team only 48 hours. It's a surprise they're still technically in the playoff hunt at this point.

7 Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

I didn't have high expectations for the Colts or anything, but they still managed to be a huge disappointment. Matt Ryan looks awful like he's on the tail end of his career. Jonathan Taylor, who many expected to have a big year, has failed to meet expectations. It got so bad Frank Reich was fired in the middle of the year, and Matt Ryan looked so bad he was temporarily replaced by Sam Ehlinger. They hired Jeff Saturday as their interim coach; an ESPN analyst who had no coaching experience. He beat the Raiders but since then he hasn't won a game. But can you blame him? He's set up to fail.

8 Cleveland Browns The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League as a member team of the American Football Conference North division... read more

Cleveland is currently 5-8. All off-season we were told Baker was the problem! He was holding the team back. They had a new quarterback in their hands. One who had other talents mainly in "massages". Deshaun Watson, once a highly regarded quarterback, got into some controversy off the field. So he was suspended for majority of the season. He only just came back a week or two ago and he looked horrible. Defense has looked inconsistent and the team as a whole either underperforms or fails to show up.

9 New England Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

I didn't have high expectations for the Patriots, but it's like for a while they were in last place in the AFC East. Yes they were behind the Jets. The offense is mediocre at best. How Matt Patricia is still employed is beyond me. The defense is okay but not quite as good as they have been. You can tell they are not the same team, are clearly miles behind where the Bills are, and the Dolphins simply leapfrogged them in the standings. They might make it in the playoffs but they probably won't go anywhere.

10 Los Angeles Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in Los Angeles. The Chargers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

To be fair the Chargers have had a ton of injuries to deal with. Herbert had injured ribs for most of the season, and they're still in the playoff race as of week 15. But, they were supposed to give Kansas City a run for their money. Instead they continued to get in their own way. I thought they were supposed to have a good defense, but their defense surprisingly still sucks. KC is on pace to win the division again while the Chargers will be lucky to make a wild card.

The Contenders
11 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.
12 Carolina Panthers The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League.
