NFL Players Most Likely to Win the ''Madden Player of the Game'' Award in the Giants vs Redskins Game in Week 12 of 2017 Season
In our final bout of Thanksgiving, there is a battle between two of the lesser teams in the NFC East division. While there are no real implications, the Giants came off of one of the biggest upsets of the season, beating the Chiefs, while the Redskins have played tough but have come up short in their last two losses. Who prevails in the least viewed of the three games on Thursday?

Kirk Cousins

Cousins began his NFL career with the Washington Redskins and has become known for his consistent passing statistics and leadership... read more
In a battle of the two tough-as-nails quarterbacks, I'm definitely going to side with Captain Kirk because I LIKE THAT! He gives his team a chance and does not quit, keeping on going and turning the gears into the high-level player he is.

Eli Manning
Elisha Nelson "Eli" Manning, born January 3, 1981, is a former American football quarterback. He played his entire 16-season career for the New York Giants in the National Football League. Manning is also known as the younger brother of former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.
With the unknown possibilities of Eli potentially leaving, things in New York are already cooked for the season. Now, how will Eli respond with the final 6 games remaining?

Samaje Perine
The one match-up to look forward to at all really is the running backs, and I'm going to lean toward Perine considering, sure, the Skins have a beat-up O-line, but they get the job done enough to still put points on the board.
-
Orleans Darkwa
Nobody expected anything from the running backs in New York, but toward the midpoint of the season, a man named Orleans Darkwa was able to run behind an incredibly bad O-line to the point that the Giants can be capable of potential upset wins, which happened last week.

Vernon Davis
Vernon Leonard Davis, born January 31, 1984, is a former American football tight end. He played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, and Washington Redskins. Davis was selected to two Pro Bowls and won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos before announcing his retirement in 2020.
The one key to this game is probably going to be the tight end position, and it's uncertain if Jordan Reed is going to play or not. Then rely on veteran Vernon Davis, who is not a bad backup to have around. He can make plays when you give him an opportunity.

Evan Engram
This rookie has been the best of the class so far. He reminds me of Jeremy Shockey from the little he has shown. He has good flashes. With no Odell, Sterling, nor Marshall, Engram is the showcase receiver by default.

D. J. Swearinger
In terms of who has the slightly better secondary, shockingly, the Redskins have a pretty impressive backfield squad. For being very depleted, they keep on fighting as a team. D.J. was one guy who was definitely worth the money to get when, in reality, it's shocking to say since this team is cursed when it comes to getting quality players who usually decline when they go to Washington to play.

Landon Collins
Landon Collins is an American football safety who last played for the Washington Commanders, formerly known as the Washington Football Team. He was released in March 2023 and is currently a free agent. Collins is known for his physical style of play and leadership in the secondary.
Collins has had a very bad year. He's now coming off his best performance of the season. Will that be enough for a Thanksgiving feast on Washington?

Josh Norman
Joshua Ricardo Norman (born December 15, 1987) is an American professional football cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He played college football at Coastal Carolina and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Norman has also played... read more
While he has had a hard time staying active on the field, when he is in, he can be a difference-maker for that Redskins defense.

Janoris Jenkins
He's had a very disappointing year, but maybe he'll treat this game like how it should have been from the beginning of the year, if that can continue from here with a lost season.
