Top Ten Worst NFL Teams of Week 1, 2019
We all knew there would be bad teams this season. Here, we’re looking at the top ten worst NFL teams of Week 1, 2019.Just how? We knew the Dolphins would be terrible, but did we know they would be THIS terrible? They lost 59-10 in a game in which they didn't even look like they were trying. Things are getting so bad that players are requesting trades. Most notably, 2018 first-round pick Minkah Fitzpatrick wants out. Despite the staggering loss, I don't even think this will be their worst game this season. Trust me, I think it will get worse. The tank moves on.
Horrendous game by the Buccaneers, who had a bunch of opportunities to win it. Jameis Winston was terrible as always. Maybe it's time to move on from him, possibly.
They only scored a field goal in a big loss to the Patriots. Almost everyone on the team struggled in the loss. There are a lot of questions surrounding the team. Is Ben Roethlisberger done? Is JuJu a viable number one receiver? Has the defense improved at all? Will the kicking game improve? Time will tell, but for now, Antonio Brown is laughing.
After an offseason of hype, the Browns disappointed all their bandwagon fans but didn't surprise their real fans one bit. While I don't think these are the same old Browns we have known for years, they sure looked like it against the Titans. Baker Mayfield needs to step up and be a good leader.
I expected a lot more from the Falcons against the Vikings, but I gave up on them after their first two offensive drives. Blocked punt and interception. With the Falcons playing like this, and the Panthers and Buccaneers also losing, they are basically giving the Saints the NFC South for free.
Ah yes, the same old Jets. The same injury-filled Jets. It was a close one against the Bills, but after a string of injuries, they lost by a point. While that's not bad, the Jets still played pretty poorly during the second half. Now Sam Darnold will be out for a few weeks, and C.J. Mosley and Le'Veon Bell are both injured. Not a good start to the season.
I was honestly surprised that the Raiders beat them. Joe Flacco showed just how average he is, and now the Broncos are last in the AFC West. I feel that Denver is in a rebuild.
They let the Cowboys walk all over them, which really isn't that surprising. Saquon deserves better.
The Cardinals were pretty terrible in the first half of their tie against the Lions but really came through in the second half. Kyler Murray has looked decent so far. Let's see what happens in the coming weeks.
Well, the Lions once again gave up a lead and still could not win the game in overtime, ending up in a tie with the Cardinals. Not a great start to the season.
