Top 10 Best Regions in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
You know, places in the game that you would actually live there and be happy.Akkala and Faron are my favorite regions of the game. I can't pick which one. Lots of my memories with this game come from Akkala's visuals. It also holds the Rist Peninsula shrine quest, the Lomei Labyrinth, and the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.
The lake is amazing, the leaves are colorful, it's where Tarrey Town and the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab are located, and it is a great place to kill guardians for weapons.
I love the Akkala region. The land shape is just so cool and feels like a nice place to be. I'm surprised it's number one, but I'm not complaining.
This region has some of, if not the best, visuals in the game. Sometimes I slow down on my journey and just watch the sunrise. It is that good.
Although it doesn't have a divine beast or that many good shrine quests, which holds down its worth, when you get the tower, you are able to see Eventide Island. Technically, this means the Eventide Island shrine quest is in the Faron region, which, in my opinion, has the best shrine quest in the game.
Very lush and green, if you can avoid the thunder.
It's not that it's the most beautiful or anything, but it's just so serene. Every time I start a new game, I think back to the very first time I played. I was so excited to see everything the game had to offer.

Everything about the Great Plateau is so peaceful.
The Great Plateau is a perfect first world. 5/5.
Once you get the snow boots and learn how to shield surf, this region is much better.
It's a hot place, but Death Mountain is beautiful to look at. You can take some nice screenshots from various viewpoints.
Besides the guardians, the landscape is full of ruins and has the castle, which makes it interesting to explore. The interior looks amazing, especially if you're curious about what Hyrule might have looked like before Calamity Ganon in BotW.
If it wasn't for the guardians that took over this place, it would be quite a peaceful area of the game.
This region is the reason why I have good weapons so early in the game.
It's the home to the most memorable divine beast. The scenery you get to see on your way to Zora's Domain is just so gorgeous.
So pretty! I love Zora's Domain and occasionally waste my time just walking around and looking at all the water.
I really like the music for Zora's Domain, Mipha, and Sidon, and the attack on the divine beast song. The landscape is so beautiful, and it's really peaceful.
By far the best area in the game. Such a cool and unique vibe, as well as a ton of really good content and memorable experiences, like sneaking through the Yiga Clan Hideout and conquering the electric brainteasers of Vah Naboris.
Sneaking into Gerudo Town using the clothes of a woman and doing the many amazing side quests within its walls is great. I love this area.
At first, it seems boring, but when you explore more, you'll find out it's actually filled with loads of interesting places.
Lost Woods is a creepy place, but Korok Forest is still a charming place.
Honestly, I really like the music in the Korok Forest. The Thyphlo Ruins were a really creative idea.
The Newcomers
Yeah, with the insane psychos that don't let boys into the city.
It's peaceful and calm and right by the water. It's safe and where I'd live. This should be first.
Why is this so low on the list? It feels very lively and safe.
Hateno is a nice, peaceful area.
I honestly think this region is underrated because it has so much to offer. Lake Hylia is a very beautiful lake, especially when Farosh the Dragon flies around it.
There is also the Bridge of Hylia, Taobob Grasslands where Ganondorf's horse lives, a couple of beaches, a tropical forest with the Zonai Ruins, and the Spring of Courage.
What do people not like about this region? I think it's beautiful.
