Top Ten Best of All Things British
I'm an American who really likes Britpop. Is an American like me knowing who Supergrass, Ash, and Kula Shaker are show how much I love music from the UK? But my favorite band of all time would have to be Oasis, who are also part of the Britpop genre, and the one who got me into music from the UK. Overall, I just really like the music that comes out of the UK, and I hope it keeps giving the world more great music artists.
I'm Canadian & I Love mostly all Music so I'm not Blind to good music!
I heard what the Brits have given the World in Music The whole British Invasion is still one of my fave music eras!
The Beatles, Rolling Stones...You know what? I'm not going to list any more because you already know about Great British music.
Robbie Williams comes from this country and he is amazing.
Now I don't know if this is what makes The British the best but hopefully I can go there and taste their tea!
There is something magical about sipping a nice cup of English tea.
Yes. I love tea so much!
Can't live without it

Ugh, I find London awful. I'll never live there. It's way too busy and crowded for me. Every queue is a mile long and the accents... The awful cockney accents... No offense.
I really wish I lived in the UK. Wish I could've been born there too. I love that country!
What a beautiful place
Very friendly, polite, cracking sense of humour, intelligent...
It is so funny those Americans are so full of themselves but they do not realise that the lightbulb (Arc lamp), Baseball (Rounders), and the internet were invented by the British. Ah those funny Yanks.
The internet. Google the rest (which you will find on said internet). There are far too many world-changing inventions to go into.
Well, not the internet but certainly the World Wide Web.
Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, William Shakespere, Charles Dickens, Catherine Cookson. And don't even get me started on British comedy writers. Good God, we'd be here forever, darling!
Please don't forget C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Oh, and Charlotte Bronte and Mary Shelley. These British authors I cannot do without.
Monty Python, Blackadder, Bottom, Shaun of the Dead - all examples of excellent British comedies.
The list of successful Great British comedies is endless...and I have other things to do.
Mr Bean is so cute, he is my childhood friend.

Watching English cricket on a Summer's day; the sound of polite applause as a plane drones overhead. Just wonderful.
And it's even more wonderful if that plane's a Spitfire or a Hurricane...

Wow! I just adore fat greasy chips, floating in vinegar and smothered in salt... I'm so hungry right now.

Do I really need a reason?
I love the British accent.

Thank you to whoever added this. I love my weekly hour of escapism into an era I absolutely adore.
The boy that lived
How unpredictable- no need to make a nice cuppa and grabbing a pair of walkers crips just to watch some nice ITV, the weather itself is enough entertainment!
Very unpredictable. Yes us Brits love a jolly good moan about it, but we secretly love it. A conversation-starter at least!
Ah british weather one minute its sunny the other minute pouring with rain
Replace cricket with football. Brits love football MUCH MORE than cricket. I woukd know... I live here
How is this higher than Rowan Atkinson? I think one direction should be replaced with The Beatles!
I hate to admit it, but I find Louis Tomlinson of 1D nice looking. What's the matter with me?!
Has the world evolved to lose hearing?

You lot across the pond are too lucky. We don't have nice weather often. It's just vanished into a myth. But on the rare occasion when we do have nice weather it makes front page news and we have a 2-hour episode of The One Show on a Thursday at 7 o'clock.
"One
One
One
One
One!"
"Hello and welcome to The One Show with Matt Baker and Alex Jones. Now we will waste 2 hours of this episode on talking about the nice weather we've been having recently!"

How is this not higher!
