Top 10 Best Battlebots
Few machines turn controlled destruction into entertainment quite like a BattleBot. You watch armored robots slam, slice, flip, and launch each other across the arena, all while their builders hope months of engineering survive the next few seconds. Behind every shower of sparks is a mix of clever design, driving skill, durability, and just enough mechanical insanity to make the whole thing fun.
As you compare the greatest BattleBots, raw weapon strength only tells part of the story. You also have to consider reliability, tournament success, memorable fights, and the ability to keep functioning after absorbing punishment that would turn your lawn mower into modern art.

Tombstone
It is the king of horizontal spinners, and it won a championship in season 2 and made the top 16 every time it has competed.
I love Tombstone! I have since the first time I saw it!
Tombstone's weapon is simply too powerful.

Son of Whyachi
-
Bite Force
Bite Force is the best BattleBot ever, going 26-1, making the top 16 in 2016, and making the finals and winning the championship in 2015, 2018, and 2019.

Vlad the Impaler
Vlad the Impaler is the best lifter. It won 2 Giant Nuts and went 19-5.

Riptide

Hazard
One of the best horizontal spinners because it ripped the batteries out of a robot, beat robots like Little Drummer Boy, T-Wrex, Heavy Metal Noise, and El Diablo, and also is the third best on this list statistically because it won 3 Giant Nuts consecutively.
-
Blacksmith
-
Ziggo
The best lightweight in the world. It won championships, ripped apart most of the robots it's fought against, and its self-righter actually works!
-
Icewave
-
Minotaur
Powerful bot.
-
Witch Doctor
One of my picks for most improved bot, Witch Doctor hadn't gotten farther than the top 8, but then 2019 rolled around. Witch Doctor dominated, went 4-0, made the top 16 as the #2 seed, and won against Blacksmith, SawBlaze, and Death Roll before losing to Bite Force. Also, it beat Tombstone at the Re event.
-
Warhead
Iron Scrap and Deep Sea Shark with Kraken look awesome. I like Warhead more, though.
-
Biohazard
It is the face of Comedy Central BattleBots. It has won 4 championships and two more in Robot Wars in 1996 and 1997. It is better than Bite Force statistically, can get underneath almost anything, and rams people into the wall. I know that sounds weak, but does 38-5 sound weak to you?
-
Minion
The best Christian Carlberg build yet, won 2 Giant Nuts, was the #1-seeded super heavyweight in BattleBots, and went 14-5.
