Top Ten Wings of Fire Characters Who Need a Book

1. Kinkajou

   

   Kinkajou is bouncy, snarky, fierce, bright, immature, mischievous, and quick to anger in difficult situations. She smiles often, but can become dangerous when her friends are threatened. According to Carnelian, she is noisy and talks all day. She looks at problems as something she can solve, instead of thinking "everything is hopeless". She runs straight toward danger without thinking first and is annoyed when she misses the action and heroism. Kinkajou wants to be a dragon others will notice and remember and does not like the idea of being unimportant. According to her, she has spent nearly her whole life waking up dragons who would rather be sleeping than talking to her.

2. Anemone

   

   I feel like her character is already nicely developed but if we could… not exactly replace turtle's book because I liked that, but have it switch between their perspectives like the legends? I mean they were in the same places and stuff and it would be pretty cool to see her perspectives on the fight, when she makes the broom attack moon, etcetera. She DEFINITELY deserves a book and also so we can see how she feels about tamarin! Anemarin forever!

   HECK YEAH I LOVE ANEMONE! I would absolutely love a winglet in her perspective, and maybe it would show her life living in the harness and the way her mindset was changed during the events of the second arc, and how she felt when she killed whirlpool, and how she felt about darkstalker and so on. She is my favorite character, and I don't want anything more than a own book for anemone that shows her life and fear of insanity. Maybe it would show how complex I think she is.

3. Lynx

   

   Lynx is so kind and trustworthy I hope she has safe travels to pantala.

   Does Lynx Have A Crush on Snowfall?We need to find out!

   Lynx seriously needs more backstory. I know we’ll see more of her in The Dangerous Gift, but she needs her own book.

4. Orca

   

   There should be a Winglet about Orca! It could be called something like Animus or Challenger and we could see what made Orca become so evil and secretive. And we could get to know other dead characters like Gill and we could see how Orca made the statue and so many cool things!

   I think Orca is a very interesting dragon. Why did she challenge Queen Coral so young? What was life like being an animus? Did her soul turn to stone? Why did she build that enchanted statue? If she had her own book, I bet those questions most of us have could be answered.

5. Tamarin

   

   I'd think it'd be quite interesting to have a little look into miss Tamarin's life. Such as how hard life was when she is blind, stuff like that, except, in my personal opinion, I think it'd be just a tiny bit boring given she is blind, and can't see a thing, but if you are thinking back to Jayfeather from the Warriors series that is completely different, given he has powers and can practically see, at least while he has his powers. Anyways, I think Tamarins story would be exciting and a little boring in my opinion.

   - Casting Shadows (NightSand Hybrid)

   I would like to see how Tamarin lives and her point of view because she is blind. I would love to see what she does differently than other dragons at Jade Mountain.

6. Sky

   

   I hope Sky gets his own book and a cover with the correct color palette, please and thank you.

   Also, Sky, I love Sweet he, and I hope that he can meet his sister soon.

   I also love his best friend relationship with Wren.

   I get that Wren didn't know Skywings when she found Sky, but oh well. He may not be able to breathe fire, but he sure has a lot of heart.

   He has a terrible name. I mean sky of the sky wings is like silk of the silkwings, or sea of the seawings. Sounds stupid right? Also he is sad because he canot breath fire why is that that's so stupid there are more important things to be sad about Sky of the Sky wings.

7. Umber

   

   We already know what makes most of the other people here tick, like Kinkajou and Anemone and Luna, so I find that a book for them is unnecessary as they're already so progressed. Giving Umber a book would be good because it could expand on what could be a great character

   I think it would be interesting knowing what it would be like growing up with Clay's sibs, and maybe we could get a chance to meet Crane sometime, as well.

   Umber is cute, funny, and determined. He NEEDS his own book because he's awesome.

8. Chameleon

   

   He's just a really complex character, why is he so obsessed with that scroll, how did he get a hold of it when he was just a ordinary RainWing, (mostly) how did Scarlet find him, when did he meet Kestrel, why didn't he just take off with the scroll when Scarlet confronted him? I have like a million more questions, but yeah. This is big.

   He shared a good understanding with Peril and functional relationship. He can be nice, a sense of humour, somewhat fashion sense. But he is too crazy about treasure and that's a negative.

9. Swordtail

   

   Yes! Swordtail really should have his own book! I feel it should replace Snowfall's maybe? But I don't know. He just really needs a book! He only has a prolog where *SPOILERS* he is being controlled by Queen Wasp! I mean come on that sucks! Love you Swordtail, may have a crush on you, really need a book!

   Swordtail is a good example of a character that needs a book. Maybe it will be about him getting reunited with Luna and them with the representatives finding the abyss.

10. Kestrel

    

    I think Kestrel was just misunderstood. She actually seemed like she would be a good mother to Peril and her brother, but it was Queen Scarlet's fault she had to kill Perils brother and abandon Peril.

    I'd love to hear about Kestrel before she joined the Talons of Peace. Personally, I think that Kestrel is underrated. She was such a good character and some people just hate her because she was rude to the DoD. I would also love to learn about Kestrel x Chameleon - Laurel

    Kestral should and shouldn't have a book because she is a misunderstood but also dead

11. ?

    Crystal

    I think it would be interesting, in my opinion. Think about it. We'd get to see more of when Queen Glacier died and when she chose Snowfall to be queen instead of Mink (well of course she is too young) or Crystal herself.

    We'd get to read about when she meets with Gharial and runs away with him. We'd also get to see more of Sanctuary and maybe the hybrids there.

13. Mangrove

    

    Mangrove seems a lot different from other RainWings. Not exactly like Glory, but had kind of the same qualities. It would be interesting to learn his life story, how he met Orchid, and why he seemed a little different from other RainWings.

    How did the friendship between Mangrove and Orchid spark up? did they meet in the dragonet wingery? Or when the were older?

    Definitely! I really wanna know how him and Orchid got together

14. Queen Scarlet

    

    Oh my gosh, yes! I love Scarlet and I would love to see how she became evil or if she was just evil her whole life. Of course, we get Tailwind's perspective in the Guide to the Dragon World but Scarlet should get a Legends or Winglet book that describes what she was like on the inside and what SkyWing life used to be like. Also I would love to hear about her because she would be the only royal SkyWing protag! - Laurel

    If she had a backstory for her, it may help us better understand why she was like the way she was, keeping Glory as art, constantly wanting to watch battles, and much more short-tempered and violent than any other SkyWing.

15. Riptide

    

    I'm curious about his background, like the details, because we have a faint outline, but I want to know about Webs and Riptide's relationship before Webs left. And I'm curious about Webs's mate.

    I would like to understand better what it was like having a father in the Talons of Peace, joining the Talons of Peace himself, his queen thinking of him as a traitor, and who his mother may be.

    I want to know what it has been like growing up when the war is going on I'm wondering if Webs was a warrior so it was scary for Riptide.

16. Belladonna

    She has strange pale burn scars splattered across her talons and her forearms. Where are those from? (I think flamesilk) But how?

    What does she think?

    She be like SCREAM and she be like RAGE and she be like SUNDEW WHAT DID YOU DO NOW?!

17. Morrowseer

    

    That would be interesting! We could really know if he was actually a cold hearted monster his whole life, or if something happened out of our line of view and he is just misunderstood.

    Hmm lets see if he has any love in him at all. -firefly the nightwing

    If morrowseer had a winglet or something, we could get his backstory and see how he felt and how the prophecy came to be… plus his relationship with secretkeeper (shudder), but yeah that would be pretty interesting!

18. Addax

    It's not that bad, addax is the dragon who betrayed thorn to trade six claws dragonet for sunny. Addax then took sunny to the castle. Doesn't really deserve his own book, pretty insignificant.

    Didn't he serve in Burn's army? *Googles it intensely* oh yeah, that guy. The guy that took Sunny hostage and gave her to Smolder in the first place. Anyway, he's such a minor character and I want to know more about him. He had a scar, right? I want know how he got that and what it was like serving in Burn's army. - Laurel

    I think Addax would be a cool character and has a lot goo by for him

19. Nautilus

    Just BACKSTORIES for everyone! Also like who did nautilus have eggs with, how did he become the talons of peace's leader, etcetera.

    It would be fun to see Nautilus backstory and how he made it to the leader of the Talons of peace

    I am curious about how he became lead of the TOP
