41 Blink 182 Blink 182 Blink-182 are a Pop Punk band formed in 1992. Original lineup were Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitar, Vocals) more.

Nothing special about this band yet so much love for blink

I hate Tom DeLonge. His voice is so bad.

42 Evanescence Evanescence Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.

Evanescence is basically just Amy Lee, she was the only member to be on 2 album covers and most people seem to only like Evanescence because of Amy's oh so amazing voice. I've seen so many people talk about how they love because Amy Lees vocals are so beautiful and she saved their life! Sorry but a band is more than just vocals and honestly she's a good singer but not as great as everyone seems to claim. Their lyrics and music is just pretty generic, there are better symphonic rock bands.

If there is something wrong with that band is that Amy Lee is the only member that gets credits. Evanescence is my favorite band, but I think the other members need more credits. - BlueDiamondFromNowhere

Evanescence is the best band ever

VERY underrated! If you voted for the eagles, name a song besides Hotel California

They're pretty overrated to be honest, I'm trying to like them but... I just can't

They need to be much higher on the list. They're not even rock, they're pop

I only like one song- My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).

Fall out boy is SOOO overrated, they only barely still play rock - Drum_Solo

47 All Time Low All Time Low more.

Never got the hype for this band. The same 3 chord pattern pop-punk that we've heard a thousand times over. Lost in Stereo, personally is the only song that kinda sticks out from the rest. But yeah, repetitive, necessarily bad but stuff we've heard a lot better before. - Sosbrad

48 Mötley Crüe Mötley Crüe Mötley Crüe was an American metal band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars. V 1 Comment

The group was formed in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson, shortly after Mustaine's dismissal from Metallica. They have released 15 studio albums, and their biggest hits are Symphony of Destruction, Holy more.

That comment makes no sense. Yeah Megadeth aren't Black Sabbath. So what? They're a completely different style of metal, and regardless, Megadeth are regarded as one of the all time greats of metal for a reason - they are.

People need to stop worshiping this band. They are no black sabbath

50 5 Seconds of Summer 5 Seconds of Summer 5 Seconds of Summer are an Australian pop-rock band from Sydney that formed in 2011. 51 Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire are a Canadian indie rock band based in Montreal, Quebec consisting of husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, along with Win's younger brother Will Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara.

It was fun the first time. And maybe even the second time. But now the joke feels exhausted. Move on, folks... Move on...

53 Korn Korn Korn is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original member, David more.

Honestly, I'm a fan of KoRn, but I can understand why they're considered overrated. They make good music, sure, really good music, but people who label KoRn as "the godfathers of nu-metal" and claim that their one of the best 90s metal bands really bug me. Lead singer Jonathan Davis even claimed in an interview that he hates the nu-metal genre, and never considered KoRn to be metal to begin with, and that his band was labelled as "nu-metal" simply because people didn't know what genre they fit into.

Ah, yes. The quintessential band from the late years of the 20th century and early years of 21st century for those posers (mainly teenagers) who felt they were so cool for listening to that music. What?! They're still active? Guess nobody cared anymore.

Why do people like this band so much? All they did was make Nu Metal which isn't even that good of music.

54 Anthrax Anthrax Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker.

Overrated? No, they are underrated - DoroExploro13

55 Daughtry Daughtry Daughtry is an American rock band formed and fronted by namesake Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2006.

one of the worst bands ever - how come Queen, Metallica and Led Zeppelin are on the list - best bands of all time - idolangelx13

Are Daughtry even rock? Most of the songs are just Kelly Clarkson-type songs (but sung from a male perspective) but engineered with loud rock guitars (their debut CD sounds too loud! ). What a sham.

56 Plain White T's
57 Pearl Jam Pearl Jam Pearl Jam is a Grunge Rock Band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band had comprised of Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament. more.

I don't think Pearl Jam is as good as people think. Their only good album, Ten, had a couple good ones on it. The rest of everything just isn't that good. I think the only one that is maybe a bit underrated is Mike McCready.

First of all, Ten is definitely NOT their only good album. It's their best, but apparently you haven't ventured past the mainstream stuff. Every song on Ten (except for Oceans) are some of the best songs of all time, but I see you're only judging the hits. Listen to more of their music and you'll see how painfully wrong you are. - Songsta41

Should be on number 1 of overrated bands. Can't stand the singers voice - ChatonNoir

58 Keane Keane Keane are an English rock band from Battle, East Sussex, formed in 1995. The group currently comprises Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes, Jesse Quin and Tom Chaplin.
59 Rise Against Rise Against Rise Against is an American melodic hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1999. The band's current line-up comprises vocalist/rhythm guitarist Tim McIlrath, lead guitarist Zach Blair, bassist Joe Principe and drummer Brandon Barnes.

Rise against should be no where near this list! They are not even close to being as popular as they should be!
Just because they have a ton of good songs doesn't mean they're overrated!

60 The Who The Who The Who is an English hard rock band formed in London, England in 1964 . The members are Roger Daltrey (lead singer), Pete Townshend (guitarist), John Entwistle (bassist), and Keith Moon (drums). The genres they were associated with happened to be rock, soft rock, hard rock, and soul rock. They are more.

The who is probably one of the most underrated rock bands far from overrated have any of you who voted even listened to a who song? good lyrics great drums great bass great guitar good voice All of the members were put on the greatest bassists, drummers, guitarists, and singers list of all time by rolling stones that must mean something

The who were totally unique and so exciting as a band. I think for creativeness they actually beat both the stones and the Beatles. They had a sick sense of humour, did powerful rock songs with great guitar riffs, they made bluesy stuff, epthey were inspired by Motown soul, they tried rock opera stuff... Very versatile and cool members and the worlds coolest drummer ever - ChatonNoir

The who is not overrated. Even if they are, they deserve all the credit they deserve and miles more. They practically invented the hard rock genre and were the biggest inspiration to classic rock today other than the Beatles.
