Nintendo Games With the Best Soundtrack

One of the main reasons I love Nintendo is because of their AMAZING soundtracks. Today, I'll be making a list with my absolute favorite soundtracks of Nintendo. Enjoy!
The Top Ten
Super Mario Galaxy

While Ocarina of Time and Metroid have good soundtracks and gameplay, they've been done plenty of times. In fact, almost every action game today is inspired by OOT. But Galaxy had never been done before and hasn't been matched since.

This was one of the first orchestrated Nintendo soundtracks, and it has not gotten old.

Super Mario Galaxy is, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the absolute best, soundtracks in the video game industry. Some of the tracks include Gusty Garden, Good Egg, Stardust Road (also known as Space Junk), and my favorite, the credits.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Out of all the Smash Bros. games in the series, this one is the best. I know Sm4sh had more tracks, but this is still the best one out of all of them.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda has had some good soundtracks since the beginning, but this game took the good tracks and amped them up. Some tracks include Saria's Song, Bolero of Fire, Gerudo Valley, and Song of Storms.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U

This game has a lot more music than Brawl. I know the Final Destination and Opening themes weren't as good as Brawl, but it's not cool to say they suck.

Every Smash Bros. game is epic. We enjoy the gameplay, not just the looks of the opening or music.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask also has tracks of its own and unique moments. Tracks include Final Hours, Song of Healing, and some remixed songs from Ocarina.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Like the first game, this had some original tracks of its own. Some of them were really enjoyable, such as Puzzle Plank, Sky Station, Fleet Glide, and Bowser's Galaxy Generator.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

This game started all the good music in Smash Bros.. Tracks include Final Destination, Temple Theme, Pokemon Main Theme, Pokemon Battle, and Boss Theme.

Mario Kart: Double Dash
Mario Kart 7
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

The Newcomers

? Pikmin
? Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team
The Contenders
Kid Icarus: Uprising

The songs contribute excellent pacing to each chapter. The final chapter certainly proves this.

Mario Kart 8
Mario Kart 64
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Another awesome orchestrated soundtrack! They really nailed it with the Wii, didn't they? It has some of the best songs in the Zelda series, such as "Skyloft," "The Sky," and many more.

The soundtrack does a great job of conveying emotion and setting the tone throughout the whole game. I might be biased toward Skyward Sword, but in my opinion, this soundtrack tops Galaxy any day, though only by a small margin. 9.5/10

Xenoblade Chronicles

How did I forget this!? The music in this game is epic, especially Gaur Plains and You Will Know Our Names.

Mother 3

Why this isn't higher amazes me. This continuation of the cult classic EarthBound greatly expands on its battle system with an amazing soundtrack, and that doesn't even include songs outside of battle.

One of the greatest soundtracks of all time, better than OOT in my opinion.

Mario Kart Wii
Super Mario 64

I think we can all agree this music started the good music trend in Nintendo. Some tracks include Bob-omb Battlefield, Dock Dock Bay, Bowser's Trap Theme, and the ending theme.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Trust me, guys. I know good music when I hear it. This, along with Galaxy, should be first and second.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddys Kong Quest
Undertale
Kirby's Adventure
Pokémon Platinum
Fire Emblem: Awakening
