21 Those Once Loyal - Bolt Thrower
22 Individual Thought Patterns - Death
23 Monolith of Inhumanity - Cattle Decapitation
24 Dawn of Possession - Immolation
25 None So Vile - Cryptopsy
26 Close to a World Below - Immolation

This is a true death metal classic! Immolation are thrashing with such an intensity in 8 songs of pure brutality throughout this album. The typical atonal and dissonant riffs of Immolation give this an extra awesome death metal tone! - Flav

27 Spiritual Healing - Death
28 Gotsu Totsu Kotsu - Where Warriors Once Dreamed a Dream Gotsu Totsu Kotsu - Where Warriors Once Dreamed a Dream Gotsu Totsu Kotsu is a Death Metal band from Tokyo/Kantō, Japan. Formed in 2000, they released 3 full-length albums so far, which all had success in the underground scene, but are still very little known in the metal community. Their band name comes from the name of an ancient samurai, which they also more.

36 Nespithe - Demilich
37 Effigy of the Forgotten - Suffocation

Superb album and my favorite from suffocation

38 De Profundis - Vader

This is an incredibly sick album. Best of Vader and one of the best in death/thrash metal.

39 Elvenefris - Lykathea Aflame

Album rules hard! This is excellent technical/progressive brutal death metal with a slight touch of Nile and Opeth.

40 An Anatomy Of The Beast - Intestine Baalism An Anatomy Of The Beast - Intestine Baalism

On of the greatest hidden gems in death metal, coming from Japan, which is not that popular for death metal, I guess. This is really awesome old-school death metal with a twist of melody in it. While it definitely isn't Melodic Death Metal, it is something between Melodeath and Old-School Death (more on the Old-School Death side).
It's a very unique and awesome record, that I highly recommend. Check it out! - Flav
