Top Ten Strongest Mega Evolved Pokemon

The Top Ten
1 Rayquaza Rayquaza (pronounced "ray-quay-zah") is a Dragon/Flying type Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It serves as the mascot in the game Pokémon Emerald. Rayquaza can mega evolve into Mega Rayquaza provided that it does not have a Z-Crystal and it knows the move... read more

This is literally the battle between Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo X.

Alright, Mewtwo, Mega Evolve! Use Psystrike!
(Rayquaza survives with half health left.)
Rayquaza, Mega Evolve! Use Dragon Ascent!
Mewtwo fainted. Rayquaza wins round one.

Alright, now Mega Rayquaza vs. Mega Mewtwo Y.
Mewtwo, Mega Evolve! Now use Psystrike!
Rayquaza survived!
Haha, my Rayquaza has a Life Orb! Use Dragon Ascent!
Mewtwo fainted.

Look, when you have a Pokémon that is classified as stronger than the Uber tier (the tier for overpowered Pokémon in competitive), you know you have something going on. Rayquaza is the strongest Pokémon of all time due to three factors:

1. Being the only Pokémon that can Mega Evolve and use a Z-Move.
2. Having its own competitive tier for being so strong.
3. Wrecking Groudon and Kyogre on a daily basis.

2 Mewtwo X/Y

Mewtwo is stronger than Mega Rayquaza and Mega Arceus. He can be upgraded to Mega Mewtwo X, making him capable of infinite damage, and Mega Mewtwo Y, where he becomes even stronger than Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku!

This is the most powerful Mewtwo form. He can beat 680 in the power of 680 galaxies. He is now 680 multiplied by 680 more powerful than every fictional character. This is Mega Mewtwo X's power!

Mewtwo can use new Pokémon moves with these Mega Evolutions. Mega Mewtwo X: Power Blaster and Dragon Dance. Mega Mewtwo Y: Judgment, Core Enforcer, and Ice Burn!

3 Charizard X/Y

Charizard is the best non-legendary Pokémon. I mean, it defeated Mewtwo.

In another list on the same website, they were at the top. I agree with that list. My Charizard X has defeated most of the mega Pokémon and even Mewtwo in Pokémon Origins.

Charizard is obviously the best non-legendary Mega, even beating normal Mewtwo.

4 Groudon Groudon, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
5 Kyogre Kyogre, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Kyogre has always been strong, even beating Mega Metagross as Primal Kyogre.

6 Latios Latios, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
7 Latias Latias, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
8 Blaziken Blaziken, known in Japan as Bashāmo, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

He's the first starter Pokémon of my life.

Oh wait, my favorite is actually Ho-Oh. I didn't know Ho-Oh was a fire type.

He is just awesome. My second-favorite fire type. Moltres comes first.

9 Garchomp

Criminally underrated! Rayquaza should spend 48 hours in the freezer. End of story. Forget Rayquaza and Mewtwo - hail Garchomp!

Cool and extreme scythes or swords.

Probably my favorite non-legendary dragon type, and it can mega evolve.

10 Blastoise
The Contenders
11 Metagross
12 Lucario Lucario is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Lucario first appeared as a central character in the film Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and later appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and subsequent sequels, also appearing... read more
13 Salamence

How is this not even on the list!? Sure, it's not legendary, but still, it's so powerful it doesn't need to be. Use Dragon Dance a few times and OHKO everything else.

One of the most used megas in VGC. Stats don't lie. Aerilate Dragon Dance Double-Edge is insane. One of the top dogs in Ubers.

14 Sceptile Sceptile, known in Japan as Jukain, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I can't decide between this and Mega Gengar. Both are pretty cool in their own ways.

15 Gengar Gengar, known in Japan by the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Gengar is a really cool Pokémon. I like its ability to let anything pass through it. In the movie Volcanion, its mega evolution really demonstrates its strength, but it's being controlled by the villain, Alva.

I love Gengar. I typically love Ghost types.

16 Gardevoir Gardevoir is a third-generation Pokémon species originally introduced as a Psychic type creature in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
17 Gyrados Gyarados is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It evolves from one of the weakest Pokemon, Magikarp. But Gyarados has a high attack power (as of gen VII, mega Gyarados is ranking #19 for highest attack stat & would rank #10 if legendary Pokemon aren't included), and... read more
18 Swampert Swampert, known in Japan as Laglarge, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
19 Mega Gallade

Similar to Garchomp but with blades instead of scythes.

20 Mawile
21 Scizor Scizor, known in Japan as Hassam, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Bug - Steel type, and was first introduced in the Gen 2 games (Gold and Silver) in 1999.

My favorite, and I love its design because it looks like a robot lobster. I like robots, so I like Scizor.

22 Absol Absol is a fictional creature in the Pokémon franchise. It was first introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It later gained a Mega Evolution in Pokemon X and Y and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Cool looking with its hair and wings.

23 Alakazam Alakazam is a Psychic-type Pokemon that was first introduced in Game Freak's Pokemon Red & Green (Blue for outside of Japan) version. Alakazam is the final evolution of the Abra line. It evolves from Kadabra when traded. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it evolves from Kadabra when given a Linking Cord... read more

He can use his psychic powers to destroy or get rid of anything standing in his way!

24 Houndoom

My favorite! Maybe not the strongest, but it deserves to be here.
