Clemont
Clemont is a character from Pokémon XY, created by Nintendo and Game Freak. He is the Gym Leader of Lumiose City and specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. Clemont is known for his intelligence and inventive skills.

Clemont is the humor we've all been looking for. Also, we'd have an excuse for another Kalos region season. Also, Clemont can cook.
Clemont should be higher on this list. He can actually cook, which is something Ash never learned, and he is a way better hero than Ash ever was. Clemont would be a good replacement for Ash in many ways, but we have already seen Clemont and we already know him, so it wouldn't make sense for him to replace Ash. I think if Ash truly leaves the whole series, the editors should make a completely new character that we've never met to replace Ash.

She is better than him.

Drew
He is one of those few minor characters that got better with development as the plot progressed. He was so annoying at first, but that was also a part of his character.
I don't want him to become the regular main character, but a few episodes on him where he catches Pokémon, battles some rivals, and fights against the odds would be nice. It would also be nice to feature him as a team partner for May.
Robert, Drew, Solidad, Virgil, and Dawn are my choices.
And to that Contestshipper, stop bringing May everywhere with Drew. Sure, Drew protects May and they have that two-sided thing for each other, but I think Drew should concentrate on his goal. He is ten years old. He needs to be a Top Coordinator first.

Alain
Better than Red.
