Top Ten Presidents Who Had Affairs

While we like to imagine our commander in chief as being moral, there are many instances where this, sadly, isn't true. Here are ten Presidents that had affairs.
The Top Ten
1 John F. Kennedy John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 29th, 1917-November 22, 1963) commonly referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination. The Cuban Missile Crisis, The Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, ...read more.

We knew this was coming. Kennedy slept with a countless amount of women during his presidency, claiming that if he didn't, he would get severe migraines. Even before his presidency, he was known to have involved himself in orgies as a Senator, and even slept with Marilyn Monroe. He was also alleged to have purposefully gotten a woman drunk, and... you know. Kennedy was no doubt the biggest skirt chaser as President.

Thank you for this list Alpha101 and I read a biography of him and it says that JFK slept with Marilyn Monroe but not other details that you listed but thanks

2 Bill Clinton William Jefferson Clinton (Born August 19th 1946) is an American politician who was the 42nd President of the United States. He previously served as governor of Arkansas. He became president after unseating incumbent president George H.W. Bush in 1992. He was re-elected in 1996 after defeating Senator ...read more.

Too bad Hillary didn't win the 2016 election, she would be in the top 3 of this list, beating even her husband!

Clinton infamously had sexual relations with his intern, which led to his impeachment. He is also been accused of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, and even flat out rape. While I should say that these accusations have never been proved in a court of law... come on. It's Clinton. There's got to be at least some truth to the claims.

He did not have sexual relations with that woman.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

3 Lyndon B. Johnson Lyndon Baines Johnson, often referred to as LBJ, was an American politician who served as the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969.

Johnson once claimed that he "Had more women by accident that Kennedy ever had on purpose." Yikes! Once he was having... relations with a coworker on a couch, and his wife walked in. Because of this incident, he had a button installed to warn him when his wife was near, so he could hide his acquaintance in a nearby closet.

4 Donald Trump Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman, television personality, politician, and the 45th President of the United States. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Trump received an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. In 1971, ...read more.

While it is rumored (who am I kidding, probably true) that he had an affair with Stormy Daniels, it is known that he has had affairs in the past. Like Clinton, he was also accused many times of sexual misconduct and assault.

He had an affair with a... I can't say it.

5 Warren Harding

Harding had an affair with a woman thirty one years younger than him. GROSS! He also fathered a child put of wedlock with said woman.

6 Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson was an American Founding Father who was principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and served as the 3rd President of the United States from 1801-1809. He was born on April 13, 1743, and died on July 4, 1826, on the same day 2nd United States President John Adams died.

Jefferson had a less than consensual affair with one of his slaves. He fathered five of her children.

7 Franklin D Roosevelt Franklin Delano Roosevelt, commonly known as FDR, was an American statesman and political leader who served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. A Democrat, he won a record four presidential elections and dominated his party for many years as a central figure in world events ...read more.

Yes, even FDR had an affair. His mistress was a woman named Lucy. His wife Eleanor found love letters between them, and threatened divorce unless he promised never to see her again. He did, but he didn't. She was even at his death bed. Awkward.

8 Dwight Eisenhower Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower was an American politician and general who served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe.

Ike had an affair with his personal driver during the war.

...and his personal driver was ... a female or male?

9 James Garfield James Abram Garfield was the 20th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1881, until his assassination later that year.

Garfield allegedly had affairs with a few women before gaining the Presidency.

10 Grover Cleveland Stephen Grover Cleveland was an American politician and lawyer who was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, the only president in American history to serve two non-consecutive terms in office.

11 George H.W. Bush George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 - November 30, 2018) was an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States under Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989.

Bush was also alleged to have an affair, but he and his family have constantly denied it. Although, the evidence is pretty convincing.
