Top 10 Things from the 2000s We'd Like to Forget

I grew up a 2000s kid, and I gotta say I honestly enjoyed them as a kid. There were a lot of good things but every decade has its crap that we'd like to forget the most. If you don't remember any of these things then good cause they're not worth remembering due to how awful they truly were.
The Top Ten
1 Fred Figglehorn Fred Figglehorn is a fictional character created and portrayed by American actor Lucas Cruikshank. He rose to prominence in the early days of YouTube. In 2013, Cruikshank retired the character because he could no longer do the Fred voice. There was also a Fred movie trilogy that lasted from 2010 to 2012.

I'll never understand people. How did this talentless hack get so popular? Even as a kid I thought his voice was incredibly obnoxious. Thank god people have finally grown up and realized that he's so atrocious.

Don't even get me started on that awful Nickelodeon show they made with him starring as himself...

2 High School Musical

Glad to see this trite gone - it never even caught on that much at my school, despite us getting forced to do a bunch of cheerleading routines to its songs once.

Its popularity and relevance has since faded away heavily. I doubt I'm going to come across someone who wants to talk about High School Musical.

Again, don't need to explain this one.

3 Soulja Boy DeAndre Cortez Way (born July 28, 1990), known professionally as Soulja Boy Tell 'Em or simply Soulja Boy, is an American rapper and record producer. In September 2007, his debut single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" peaked at number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The single was initially self-published to the internet, and later became a number-one hit in the United States for seven non-consecutive weeks starting in September 2007. On August 17, Way was listed at number 18 on the Forbes list of Hip-Hop Cash Kings of 2010 for earning $7 million that year.

Well technically his popularity still remains alive cause of memes (unfortunately), but yeah people still don't care about him anymore and I really hope he never makes a comeback.

4 Twilight

Twilight's popularity died out some time after the final film's release. We've all moved on now. I mean, what is to talk about in Twilight anymore?

*kisses leg* you know what I am going to say next

I don't need to explain this one..

Every love story is better.

5 Transformers
6 Axel F - Crazy Frog

I'll admit, I actually used to like this crap as a kid (excuse me while I go crucify myself for even liking this musical abomination in the first place).

7 The Black Eyed Peas The Black Eyed Peas is an American hip hop group, consisting of rappers will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and singer Fergie.

Nah, they were actually decent at first.

8 Beyblade
9 Gummy Bear Song - Gummy Bear

I can't believe I actually liked this song back when I was kid, this song sucks!

Just as bad as Crazy Frog, though I personally don't think it's worse.

10 CN Real

Stuart Snyder is a saint compared to Christina Miller these days, to be honest. But, that doesn't mean we can excuse this stain on Cartoon Network's history. Geez, I can see it was trying to be experimental, but this is supposed to be CARTOON Network. The live-action shows weren't even good in the slightest, if I may add.

The Contenders
11 Bubba Sparxxx Warren Anderson Mathis, better known as Bubba Sparxxx, is an American rapper. His singles include "Deliverance", "Ugly", and "Ms. New Booty", the latter of which peaked at No. 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Don't remember this guy? Good cause he's proof that the idiotic and talentless rappers we have today won't last forever (by that I mean they're eventually gonna fade into obscurity just like this guy did).

You were one of my favorite users Jason. How could you remind me this guy existed? (Jk we're still friends)

12 Sonic 06

Considering Sega literally asked to remove all copies of Sonic 06 and other Sonic games that were given mediocre scores on Metacritic from all retailer stores, it's safe to say we as the players aren't the only one who want to forget this former nadir of the Sonic franchise (the current nadir being Rise of Lyric). But, then there's the franchise's self-deprecating humor that knows that Sonic will never live it down with this game...

13 Bratz

Those sluts with a "passion for fashion" were everywhere in the 2000s! They had their own T.V. show, movies, video games, cosmetics, T.V./DVD players, walkie talkies, backpacks, bubble gum, PEZ dispensers, sleeping bags, chairs, t-shirts, ice cream bars, a perfume, balloons, a karaoke machine, cellphones, underwear, etc.! Everything you could think of was infected by the Bratz disease at some point or another! What were MGA Entertainment thinking when they green-lighted these big-lipped, giant-headed monstrosities for little girls? They were like a plague that infected every facet of our society...but the worst part is that we somehow tolerated it and they even became America's #1 doll line at one point!
Thank Arceus that their popularity has faded though.

14 Annoying Orange

Screw Annoying Orange. Screw the Cartoon Network show based off of him. And screw any lingering relevance of him in today's decade. Ugh, I can't believe they even had MERCHANDISE of him at a Justice department store when me and my family were shopping at the mall years ago.

15 Wii Shovelware Games

A few came out in the early 2010s as well, but many of the worst ones were from the 2000s.

16 Mega Man Star Force (Anime) Mega Man Star Force, known as Shooting Star Rockman in the original Japanese language version, is an anime and manga series based on the video game of the same name.

I can't believe I liked that anime when I was a little kid...

17 Son of the Mask

I actually liked this movie when I was little.

18 Linkin Park Linkin Park is an American alternative rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The current members include Mike Shinoda (vocals, keyboards, rhythm guitar), Brad Delson (guitar), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass), Joe Hahn (DJ), and Rob Bourdon (drums). Linkin Park is associated with a mixture of alternative rock, hip hop, and techno. Some of their influences include Nine Inch Nails, Deftones,... read more

I don't think LP is going to be forgotten soon. Due to its popularity and influence in the 2000s, my guess is the band's name and music is going to persevere for many years to come. The band's legacy is too big at this point and a lot of recent bands have stated it as one of their biggest influence. I'm not saying this as a fan by the way.

I get that Chester's death was tragic but like I said in a previous comment, it doesn't change the fact that the band is mediocre and overrated as hell. Nobody even likes these guys anymore so they should really just give up and move on with their lives.

19 The Cat in the Hat (2003)
20 Lammy's (Um Jammer Lammy) Fanbase
21 Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe
22 Tickle-U
23 9/11 Terror Attacks
24 Kid Rock Robert James Ritchie Sr., known professionally as Kid Rock, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, musician, record producer, activist, minister and actor.
