This is the most beautiful band ever. And Dave Grohl (maybe you know him from Nirvana) is the president of this band. THEY ROCKS!

165KeaneKeane are an English rock band from Battle, East Sussex, formed in 1995. The group currently comprises Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes, Jesse Quin and Tom Chaplin.

Keane are so underrated and are truly amazing... They simply are the best band with the best musicians and Tom's voice is absolutely outstanding..

166Nothingface
167The Chameleons
168The Psychedelic Furs
169Skid RowSkid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They were very successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their first two albums certified multi-platinum.

Sebastian Bach has one of the best voices in history. Their songs were really touching, not only the ballads, but the rebellious ones also.

170Jethro TullJethro Tull were a British rock group, formed in Luton, Bedfordshire, in December 1967. Initially playing blues rock, the band soon developed its sound to incorporate elements of British folk music and hard rock to forge a progressive rock signature.
171RadioheadRadiohead are an English rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Colin Greenwoood (bass guitar), Phil Selway (drums), and Ed O'Brien (guitar).

Radiohead encompasses everything a band should be. They are experimental, unique and have an huge range of amazing songs that they don't get much credit for - in Rainbows, for example. This album is undoubtedly one of their best, and I could listen to it all day.

However even though this is the case, I don't think they're underrated as such. OK Computer was a MASSIVE hit album and they had quite a good career and are still going.
I'd say they're one of the best and most influential rock bands in the world but not the most underrated. I think in the 130 - 150 spot is good for them - SMU2WG

172KansasKansas is an American rock band that became popular in the 1970s initially on album-oriented rock charts and later with hit singles such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind".

Tremendous catalog with a large number of songs that are much better than their long list of hits. Also, great live performers who are able to connect with their audience either in an arena or a small outdoor venue. They define underrated.

Best classic progressive rock and roll band ever. Amazing live, they don't miss! ~ If you haven't seen them, you must as a bucket list item! Songs that matter, lyrics that hit home, musical talent over the top. Someone described it best, its like 6 Beethovens on the stage at once!

173Children of BodomChildren Of Bodom is a melodic death metal band from Espoo, Finland. Formed in 1993, the group currently consists of Alexi Laiho, Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, Jaska Raatikainen and Daniel Freyberg.
174Status Quo

Oh my god. If you see how much their records are worth the you'll see. You look at Pink Floyd and they sold MILLIONS of albums yet they are worth $50-$100. Status quo? $1 dollar bin. So underrated it's not even funny. Better than acdc. Listen to roll over lay down. A fantastic band that has been lost in time. Please listen to this band.

175Dinosaur Jr.

So underrated they're not even high on the underrated list. I firmly believe Dino is up there among the greatest rock bands of all time. They invented their own unique sound and no one has done it quite as well as them since.

Half these bands are over rated. Radio head, and Megadeth for sure. Nirvana is over rated too

176Black Stone Cherry
177BostonBoston is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, that achieved their most notable successes during the 1970s and 1980s.

Boston is known for songs like More than a Feeling and Peace of Mind, but they have a bunch of really good songs! Rock and Roll Band, Smokin', Something About You, etc.

They have some really good songs and their guitar and organ combination rocks

178My Chemical RomanceMy Chemical Romance was an American rock band from Jersey City, New Jersey, active from 2001 to 2013. For much of their career, the band consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way, and drummer Bob Bryar.

Underrated? Please show me an emo teen who doesn't worship them!

Everyone thinks there depressive emo and suicidal but there understanding supportive punk and one of the most underrated bands ever

My Chemica Romance is really underrated. Of course not between ''emo teens'' but both in chart success and in our rock culture. They're really amazing and I can say without a doubt that they write the exceptionally deep lyrics. When people get over all the ''they're ungrateful, suicidial emos'', they could actually enjoy their amazing music. They'de my favourite rock band forever.

179The Velvet UndergroundThe Velvet Underground was an American rock band, active between 1964 and 1973, formed in New York City.

Best band ever in my eyes. Not only did they sell like garbage within their own time, but they later would be recognized for being so influential. It simply took 30 years for the rest of the world to catch up to what they were doing. Overall great band and everyone should give them a listen. I'm listening to them while I write this. Overall better then these other bands, really. Highly experimental, intelligent, meaningful music here. Listen to their 1967 album, The Velvet Underground and Nico, to start things off then pick up the other ones too. Great great stuff. I'm 17 years old, and I know this stuff is top shelf.

Muse and other overrated crappy "rock" bands over Velvet Underground? What kind of reality this is? Those kids obviously don't even know what underrated means!

Agreed, very underrated. Solid rock. Lou Reed was a pioneer. Still it's hard to listen to him extol the virtues of drug abuse.

One of the most important band ever. Without them no punk - ChatonNoir

180YesYes are an English rock band formed in 1968 by bassist Chris Squire and singer Jon Anderson. They first achieved success in the 1970s with a progressive, art and symphonic style of rock music.

Pioneering Progressive Rock Band, very musical. They deserve better, no doubt. Check out "Yours is No Disgrace"
