Top Ten Worst Roller Coasters

The Top Ten
  1. Mind Eraser - Six Flags America

How about that roller coaster some nutter made that would kill you if you went on it. I know obviously no one would be able to vote and the ride is probably illegal for anyone to ride on.

    Euthanasia Rollercoaster.

Well I went on this and I came of with a bloody nose! That was a piece of crap!

The one at Elitch Gardens in Denver is very uncomfortable. It violently jerks your head around.

  2. Manhattan Express - New York, New York Hotel & Casino

Ok so, I went on this and I had so many headaches for the two weeks after I got off this piece of crap! I went on it alone and, yeah, this coaster is actually overrated! Not that it gets any love but, it deserves less than it actually gets, if that even makes sense! I cried on it and, it hurt so much and I actually fractured a slight part of my skull on it! Togo should let Intamin make their rides good. If it was smooth, it would be a great ride and apart that the inversions do not even make sense, if it was smooth, I would be okay with it

    So... Yeah

Of course Togo makes rough and painful rides, but with one that is 203 feet tall, I'd find it hard to ride.

  3. Hurler - Kings Dominion

Most painful wooden coaster I've ever been on

  4. Anaconda - Kings Dominion

My anaconda don't want none unless this coaster's gone, hun.

(to be honest, this ain't the worst coaster, but holy hell its close.)

This was my 2nd looped roller coaster, so I mean I really like this one. Ye, it's rough but I am tough so that's ok.

It's so rough, I feel like I'm gonna be slammed against the tracks.

  5. Corkscrew - Cedar Point

It was very painful so people with spine issues shouldn't go on the corkscrew at cedar point! It was one of the 2 roller coasters at cedar point!

This coaster seems like it sucks, but I hope they keep it because it's an important part of the park's history. It's also great for photos.

Main reason why I hate Arrow. I've been riding this for years now, and I still don't like it today.

  6. Green Lantern: First Flight (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

  7. Mean Streak - Cedar Point

I grayed out on the ride from the sheer pain it caused and I had to take ibuprofen like candy the night that I rode it. I'm glad I rode it because of the nostalgia and that it is being redesigned now, I can at least say I experienced the original. Would I ride it again if I had the chance? NO

Awful... Yes woodies are supposed to be rough but this thing is painfully rough to the point where I sprained my rib... On top of that the pacing is bad, and the MCBR kills any chance for speed or airtime. This ride is awful. Go on Blue Streak it is a much better coaster with more airtime.

  8. Ninja - Six Flags Over Georgia

I've never ridden this coaster, however Six flags over Georgia is my "home park" and I go to this park at least once a year and I never get on. I have friends who got on this thing and one of my friends felt like she got a concussion and my cousin said that this ride gave him a massive headache. Good thing I never ride this thing and I love rollercoasters. If you were to ask me what the worst and roughest rollercoaster I ever been on would be the Mindbender at the same park. Messed up my back for a few weeks.

I don't normally hate coasters, but Ninja, man that thing sucks. I actually had to come up with a brace position just to be able to tolerate riding it. Why is Six Flags tearing down the amphitheater for the new water park when they could easily tear down this disgrace to coasterkind.

  9. Tatsu - Six Flags Magic Mountain

I've never been there andi just voted to say to whoever said this is awesome that this is supposed to be the WORST not best roller coasters.

Ya know what? Now that I think of it, it has a VERY close layout to manta at seaworld Orlando so saying this sucks is saying that sucks

This shouldn't even be on the list, let alone number 1! In my opinion, this list should be dominated by vekoma's, but to see b&m's and intamins on this list just baffles me!

  10. Wicked Twister - Cedar Point

You are an obveious troll for putting of such great roller coasters. Wicked Twister is one of the best rides at Cedar Point. Also WHY IS THE MILIENNIUM FORCE EVEN ON THIS LIST, IT IS THE GREASTEST RIDE EVER.

I guess it's ok for people who are scared of real coasters. No stomach drop, no inversions, no airtime and being blinded by the sun = lame

The worst coaster my web friends ever rode!

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    Incredicoaster - Disneyland

The new theme sucks it's just a terrible cash-grab that replaced California Screamin' and it's part of Disney's park retheme into Pixar Pier for money.

Only go if you want thrills.

  13. ?

Goliath - Six Flags New England

  14. The Contenders
  15. Kong - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

It shakes you so hard you have a million bruises on your head from it shaking around!

And I SO do NOT agree with whoever ditched medusa! It th best ride ever!

    This should be above Smiler.

    Dead that.

  16. Time Warp - Canada's Wonderland

  17. Shockwave - Kings Dominion

Worst coaster I've ever ridden. So glad it's gone. This should be above Anaconda and in the top ten AT LEAST! Vote people!

  18. Son of Beast - King's Island

Ugh, nearly every coaster enthusiast will agree that the SoB is painful and belongs here. Hyper coasters, wooden terrain coasters, and looping coasters are great ride designs, and I guess the designers at RCCA thought it would be a great concept to combine the three, and ended up creating a real horribly executed beast. Luckily the loop was later removed, and now the ride just sits, not in operation unlike it's father, the Beast, an excellent ride.

This ride is the roughest. Pure roughness. With a LOOP! (2000-2006) But when I rode it, the loop was already taken down. I hated the ride. But I will admit, I am a little sad that they tore it down. I'll miss it, even though I hated it. They could've done an Iron Horse treatment, but oh well. Looking' forward to Banshee though

  19. Medusa - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Trolls be trolling. This ride is possibly the BEST B&M Floorless out there, maybe even one of the best B&Ms.

I mean look look at this crap this doesn't look anything like the X2.

I had a heart attack on this line.

  20. Ninja - Six Flags St. Louis

I have absolutely no reason why this rough Arrow Looper isn't higher. Nitro at SFGAdv and Tatsu - both of which are great B&Ms, are higher on this list, don't really know why. Ninja is rough and jerky and has horrible inversions. The corkscrew and helix at the end of the ride really kills it. SFStL should just demolish it because they could really put something cool in its place. By far my least favorite coaster at SFStL and one of the least favorites that I have ridden. Ninja should really be higher up.

Way too rough, it's an original Arrow Corkscrew model and it's probably the worst I've ridden. They tried adding VR but it still just gives me a headache, and I credit it with my choice back pain, as it popped my spine once when I was about 12 (its my home park and that was 9 years ago) and I've had back problems ever since. I get that it's historically significant but for the good of the people close the damn thing

  21. Sidewinder - Hershey Park

Another Vekoma copy. Like most boomerangs, it will gave you an intense headache, and it provides a quick, uncomfortable, and painful experience that is not worth waiting in line for.

This will probably be the last Hershey Park rollercoaster I'll ride; I've heard so many negative comments about it, including my dad's.

This ride busted my stomach it hurt for a week all because of this piece of crap ride

  22. Great American Scream Machine - Six Flags Great Adventure

Rough and painful, this proves to be a pile of junk. Most rides designed by Arrow are very rough, but this proves to be possibly their worst ride, rides like the Demon at Six Flags Great America is rougher, but unlike this ride, it is well themed and a very fun and exciting ride.

  23. Goudurix - Parc Asterix

There have been many coasters on this list that aren't supposed to be on here but thanks to Goudurix's pain, the list now has one coaster that is meant to be on here.

I'm glad I've never been on this! But I can tell it's the true worst coaster, not great rides like Nitro.

No roller coaster comes close to as bad as goudurix

  24. Wildcat - Lake Compounce

  25. Star Flyer - Star City

Look at this they think its giant but it's the smallest suspended roller coaster in the world and they think it an inverted.

But if you will ride on it it will make thrill..

  26. Wildcat - Hersheypark

Seriously? This coaster's one of my favorites. The roughness and speed make it fun. I'd ride it over and over, and the good part is there's usually a smaller line than that of other coasters.

This roller coaster is so rough and painful, when I got off, I had chest pain and a headache for the rest of the day.

What the heck?!?! I love this roller coaster

  27. Hurler - Carowinds

I road this a month ago and there's one small hill and your head gets jerked around slot but I love carowinds.

It's so jerky it's jerkier than beef jerky. Carowinds only bad ride.

Hurler At kings dominion is worse than the one at carowinds

  28. Nitro - Six Flags Great Adventure

Rated number 3 every year for best steel coaster.

Not sure why this is on the list.

    Bunch of trolls

Can you scream "Overrated"? You just described this thing. I got a bad ride on it, and it's nowhere near as forceful as Skyrush or any other Intamin hyper.

Nitro is my favorite coaster. It's so much better than El toro and also skyrush

  29. Coast Rider - Knotts Berry Farm

Who ever replaced a ride with this!
