Top Ten Best Rides at Thorpe Park
Welcome to Thorpe Park! Which is your favourite ride?
I love this ride so much. It was my first inverted rollercoaster when I was 10 and it was so intense! Yes, there is a little of gerstlauer's headbanging but the indoor section and that amazing drop straight into the second inversion makes it all worth it. I also like how it's the only big coaster in the park that doesn't have seatbelts on the restraints, really adds to the scariness of the whole ride in my opinion!
The biggest drop goes super high and vertical as you go up and then goes over the top and plummets down as it curves in and sweeps back up again and round! It's the most thrilling ride, and I highly recommend it!
Starts indoors as pitch black then goes outside and into a beyond vertical drop! Blades sweep past your head and a bunch of twists, loops and turns come into action. Absolutely love this ride. I recommend it
As an adrenaline junkie I adore rollercoasters. I thought Saw was amazing, went on it 5 times in a row. Definitely the best ride there. Wish there were slightly scarier rides to be completely honest

Accelerates so fast and has a unique feeling from all the other rides!... as though you have been yanked and you are being dragged through the entire track... You can't feel your legs either! Out of this world sensation! Before I went on it I wouldn't dream of going on it. Definitely make sure you ride it!
I'm eleven and I go to Thorpe Park every year with my cousins. My cousin and her fiance both used to work in Thorpe Park! I went on stealth and it is amazing! I didn't hold on and my arms felt like they were gonna snap off because of how fast the rollercoaster was going!
It's a great ride however I do not understand why it won? It is mainly just a way of showing off how manly or cool you are to your friends and lasts like 5 seconds, the freeking timer before the ride starts lasts longer than the ride! " ( not a hater is a GREAT ride xxx ) saw should have won!
My cousin was sitting next to me and closed her eyes throughout the whole ride. When she thought that the ride had finished, she opened her eyes to find that she was right at the top of the stealth and went WHOOSH when she went down!
The stealth is an amazing ride and makes u cry at the end!
When I was right at the end of the queue there was a malfunctioning problem and half the queue left. We thought that it will be ok so then when we were at the front of the queue, right about to go on, there was another malfunctioning problem... I got really freaked out. When we went on the ride I completely forgot everything and just let myself be free! It is an amazing ride and I really do recommend you to try it out even if u don't like scary rides. my cousin who is a total wimp hates scary rides but still went on the swarm and loved it! xx
When I was in the line for this I near enough had a panic attack because it looked scary, the ride started and I loved it, you go through a broken build board and under a plane, so that was great.
Went on this as my first time going upside down on a rollercoaster, it was so fun that I went on it 3 times in a row! Definitely my favourite ride at Thorpe Park!
First biggest Thorpe park ride I ever went to! It was amazing!
I love how it's shaped like a bee and the picture is taken just as you go past a massive billboard, I tucked my head so my picture didn't show:(
Watch out!
BEST RIDE EVER!

Very headbangy but the heartline rolls at the end and the vertical loops are great. Just remember to keep your head back and press it to one side of your restraint to minimise the headbashing or you will absolutely come out of the ride with a concussion!
Colossus derserves to be at the top of the list. It tends to be slammed because it's rough and bangs the head of the rider. However, this is only the case if you are sat on the back of the train. Colossus delivers fun packed, intense thrills throughout all of its ten inversions (let's not forget that it was the first in the world to have that number). It has rich, inventive theming, lots of inversions and even a little airtime! A real high point for Colossus is the heart line rolls, which conclude the rollercoaster, and provide a fun, adrenaline-filled ending to an iconic rollercoaster worldwide.
Whilst Colossus may not have the sheer height of Stealth, or the fear factor of Saw, it still has winding inversions, delivering thrills and builds up adrenaline that keeps riders talking about it for days on end.
Well Even though This ride is very Old and is a risky ride to face it is one of the greatest rides in Europe and is the best in Thorpe park It is a 10 inversion Roller coaster (Steel). It goes up side down 10 Times and is a record breaker please try this ride one thing the Ques can get up to 1 hour and 30 mintues as it's so popular!
Colossus lasts just the right amount if time and the thrill of the loops were amazing, the best ride.
Very underrated B&M Invert, love the pre-lift section and the interlocking corkscrews, best coaster at the park in my opinion.
Before I went on this I was shaking but I decided that if I didn't go on it I would have missed out so I went on it anyway. Now it is my favourite ride at Thorpe Park and I go on it every time I go there, I thoroughly recommend it as it is not as terrifying as it seems and it is definitely worth it.
I have been on all of the rides about 10 times or so, but some of them do get boring. Swarm after riding it this amount if times only appeals to me backwards however nemesis never gets old. The dop, the backflip, the cave.. The numerous amount of corkscrews.. Wow its incredible, bonus that it normally has a short queue
Well, it was my first time on the looping ones. I got told that Nemesis is the best ride for starters. I was VERY scared to start, but when I got on I loved the theme song and the background. I LOVED it all. Its probably the best ride in the UK.
The best ride ever at Thorpe park on a really hot day. Normal waiting times are 2 hours + but when I went no waiting time. The splash was epic was thoroughly soaked by the wave a good ride for junior thrillseekers
It's like a giant tsunami coming closer to you whilst you coming back down you get wet not just you but everyone waiting in the line, walking past and on the ride!
Why is this so low? this is the greatest thorpe park ride ever for junior thrill seekers. there is only one dip and although it is quite high, it is worth the wait. at the end, you get soaked to the bone, so it is a great ride for a really hot day. the only thing wrong about it is that it isn't in my bedroom... or my garden...? nah, my bedroom.
Why is tidal wave so low its great!
In my opinion, X might looks like the best enclosed coaster that's not in Disney parks. It uses lasers and strobes during the ride, which are basic but still makes the ride more fun. And it also has a nightclub-ish theme (formerly an intelligent computer virus). Sadly it's being rethemed to the Walking Dead in 2018, which means the spectacular strobes and lasers probably might be removed.
I didn't like x no way out but when it turned to x it was better because it went forward and it was like a roller coaster going through a night club. A good ride for kids and adults.
Whys X so low give it some help its great you can rave in the line while waiting and its got strobe lighting! Although in my opinion Saw- the ride is the BEST!
Backwards in the dark. Uh oh.
Rush is totally awesome, it is like an insane pirate ship ride but twice the speed and triple the intensity! It is astounding and a great fun ride to definitely ride on the day!
It's quite fast and adrenaline pumping but is definitely a very good sky swing.
Rush is awesome! So cool!
Favourite Flat ride here
It is so awesome it is like you are flying but going upside down instead
Its scary however its even more scary when the guy controlling the ride decides to let the timer go "5... 4... 3... WOOOSh" DOWN! It was funny and scary because normally it goes down to "1..." then we plummet. who ever did that is a genius xxx
You can't hear the countdown from the top and it's very scary.
Lasts around 10 seconds but still worth doing. The contents of your stomach will flip
Scares me more than all the coasters, to be honest.
It's uncomfortable and horrible. Other people might like it but it's not for me.
Slammer is by far my favourite non-rollercoaster ride its epic!
Brakes down too much
Mitch loved this thing
It's a good ride
But like his shows, lots of hype, but the buzz is just not their,Alton towers ghost train is better, than this load of tosh!
Amazing ride! The walk, run to the actual ride is great as you feel like zombies are going to jump out at you! When you get on the carriage can hold about 16 people on it but I was with my mum and two friends and although there were other people in our group they made us 4 go by ourselves which made it much scarier especially when you exit the ride and there are zombies chasing you, the less people there are the more the zombies focus on you! '
Pile of poo. Wasted an hour queuing for this tripe. Don't bother.
Fun for people who can't go on many rides because of motion sickness!
Great ride, it has small lengthed queue and very speedy. It's definitely a underrated ride.
I went on this and there was a fat guy and his small child next to us and I got soaked
Loggers Leap is awesome, a really high fun ride with a great splash at the end. Like Tidal Wave but through better scenery. EPIC!
Saw is amazing.I went on it first in the front then at the back. The back is definitely the best because you don't see anything!
It is perfect for the little adventurer's as they love to splash around and play in the water
