Top 10 Six Flags Magic Mountain Roller Coasters
These Roller coasters at 6FMM are to me the 10 bestX2 is not only the best roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but it's also the best roller coaster in the world. The ride is unique in that the train's seats rotate 360 degrees both forwards and backwards independently of the main chassis. It's been known to be the most intense, insane, and extreme roller coaster in the world. Closing your eyes on the ride will not make the fear go away!
I agree! This roller coaster, X2, is unforgettable - in a good way! The way the seats flip around, the backward motion, and the funky music (Tip: It's best to ride in the inside seat, back row, left side) make it very intense. You don't know what to expect, and it's just the best ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Probably the best in the world.
A great roller coaster with smooth track (which X2 doesn't have) and fun airtime hills and inversions. This coaster is both long and exciting. With the racing element, it's even better!
It's not even completed yet, and it's already my favorite ride in the park.
How is X2 better than this? This is the best coaster I've been on, and X2 is not even in my top ten.
Tatsu is amazing! It was one of my first roller coasters, along with Batman, Apocalypse, Revolution, and Colossus. Tatsu has long lines, but it's worth the wait. It's a great ride! If you haven't gone on it yet, you really should. The loop is one of the scariest parts, but it's awesome!
The ride looks intimidating, but it isn't as bad as it seems. The first time I almost bailed out, but I didn't, and it was really worth it.
X2 is a little bumpy, but all pretzel loops are amazing. With Tatsu, each element of the ride gets better and better, saving the best part for the end.
This was my first "extreme" roller coaster ever. (Until then, the scariest thing I rode was Space Mountain at Disneyland.) I still remember that sixth-grade field trip, me and my buddies going on it, and that huge loop. It was one of the best moments of my life.
I thank this roller coaster for teaching me not to be afraid. This ride is amazing, thrilling, and exciting. A must-ride for anyone visiting Magic Mountain.
This was my first ever roller coaster. Pretty extreme. When I got off, my dad said that was a hell of a first roller coaster.
Goliath is a monster roller coaster known for its massive first drop. I think the roller coaster is amazing and fast. I highly recommend that ride. Before I went to Six Flags (my first time), that was the only ride I really wanted to go on! I didn't care much about the rest.
So ride it! It might be scary for some people, but after you go on it, you'll change your mind and have a lot of fun on this 3-minute ride.
Fun Fact: It takes about 35-50 seconds to get to the top of Goliath. It's over 220 feet high!
I don't think this ride hurts. If anything, the stand-up position is unique and provides an amazing sensation. It's long, smooth, imposing, and loud.
This ride is definitely a must-do for any thrill seeker! It does hurt your neck, but it's worth it!
Even though it's only about 30 seconds long, I still find it to be a thrilling monster! You launch out of the station at nearly 100 MPH, rocket up 415 feet of track, and then plummet backward into the station.
Wow, what a rush! I love it!
I love this ride, but I never get to go on it because the line is always packed.
I vote for this because it is one of the fastest and tallest in the world.
Feels like you are flying because you are suspended under the track! I loved this ride, and I recommend it for all thrill seekers!
This may seem like a standard B&M floorless coaster, but something about this ride will make all the riders scream!
I love the entire coaster collection at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but Scream! is truly a monstrous experience for me.
It isn't that scary. It's like Gold Rusher but three times more intense. It is really fast and moves you around a lot, though.
Underrated GCI. Every time I ride, it goes up in my rankings. It's such a fast, out-of-control ride that it's probably in my top four at the park.
Super fast with great floater airtime!
The Newcomers
The inversion king of the park! Almost every single element of the ride is full of inversions and drops.
I love this and recommend it to anyone who enjoys speed, twists, and inversions.
It's the best roller coaster in the world, and it's a legend!
I can't even begin to tell you how unprepared I was for this ride. I loved it, but I never knew the cars flipped upside down so many times! I thought it would just lean you forward and back again. Still, I loved it!
I recommend it for all thrill seekers.
A unique ride for everyone! You don't expect the loop because you're surrounded by trees most of the time, until you're staring straight down at it right before the drop!
Believe me, I've never experienced a better rush in all my ride experiences!
The New Revolution is fine, but take out the VR headsets. They are pretty pointless.
This may not be the most extreme coaster here, but it is one of the most unique rides I have ever experienced!
