Possibly one of the best superhero cartoons of the 90's heavily drawing inspiration from anime with amazing story lines, a very dark town.

A really great show that's not afraid to pull any punches with very smart writing.

3 Spongebob Squarepants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

This should be number 1.

4 Animaniacs Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs is an American animated comedy television series produced by Amblin Television label in collaboration with Warner Bros.

Tiny Toon Adventures was good Animaniacs was even better.

Animaniacs is my favorite cartoon as if now. (Hopefully I won’t lose interest in it. I need to save my interest for the reboot)

Before Spongebob there was Rocko's Modern Life a show that was best known for its wacky and sometime very provocative humor about a wallaby facing the challenges of everyday life.

While the first season hasn't held up as well over the years it was still a really good first season about a young kid named Ash traveling with friends Brock and Misty as they travel all over the Kanto region battling Gym Leaders and having all sorts adventures along the way and the intro was pretty awesome.
