His attacks are without a doubt the best-looking, and he could probably hold off Akainu if he had all his power. It was shown that his Vivre Card was burned to 1/10 of its original size, which means he only had 1/10 of his power when he fought Akainu.
That's why when they went head to head, he got burned. If he didn't get burned, Akainu wouldn't have had the chance to go after Luffy, and Ace wouldn't have had to save his brother by taking the blow and dying!
I can't even explain how much his character spoke to me, especially the ideas he brought up about family and whether he deserved life - it hit way too hard. You've got to be a beast to pull off that much impact in such little screen time. Besides, he's hot, literally.

He is one of the most original characters I have ever seen. He doesn't need any defining dark past or rivalry with the main character. He is unique and sadly doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Longest-tenured crew member, who is the strongest Straw Hat (besides Luffy). He has undying loyalty for his captain and crewmates. Also, he seems to get stronger during tough situations and complements Luffy the most in personality and strength.

Or what about when he saved Usopp from Jabra or Chopper from Queen? That was so badass! He always has the best entrances when he rescues people.
The best part is that there's so much more to Sanji's character, unlike Zoro, for example, who is a bit of a one-note character. Sanji can be vulnerable, dramatic, sweet, and silly, but he's also definitely one of the coolest characters out there. That makes him so interesting, in my opinion. Love him!
Monkey D. "Straw Hat" Luffy is a fictional character and the protagonist of the One Piece manga franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. He is funny. At needed times, he is a badass, or we can say, at all times. He loves his crew. On top of that, he will continue to pursue his dreams whatever the cost, which most of us can't do. He has a style that no one can copy.
As we all know, he will find One Piece, but that is not the main thing he wants. As Luffy said, he doesn't want to know where the One Piece is. He wants to enjoy the navigation and making friends. All that he cares about is the whole journey with his crewmates to the end. That is the thing everybody likes about him.
Law's abilities progressed so much after the two years when the Straw Hats were separated. He became a Warlord and totally destroyed the Marines from G5. His ability allows him to dismantle and rearrange anything. Seriously, you can tell he's badass just by looking at him.
Trafalgar Law should actually be further up this list. Looking at his backstory, anyone could understand his feelings and his stoic attitude.
He's such a badass. Hot, with a cool Devil Fruit, and Luffy's ally. Besides, his past was the best part of the Dressrosa arc. My favorite character ever.

''Red-Haired" Shanks is a fictional character in the One Piece franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. He is the captain of Red Hair Pirates and member of Yonko. He is also a former member of the legendary Roger Pirates, the only group to successfully conquer the Grand Line. I don't understand how he's not Number 1. Sure, he hasn't been shown a lot just yet, but there's still more to come from this epic character. He came to Marineford and stopped the war. That's epicness.
He's just so cool. I like how he comes off as a chill but weak pirate when we first meet him. Later, we find out he is one of the Four Emperors. That's crazy.
Shanks has by far the most style of all characters in this anime series. He has only one arm, a badass scar, and he's strong as hell.
Dracule "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk is a fictional character of the One Piece manga franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. Mihawk is a member of the Shichibukai and the first one to be revealed in the series. Everything about him is just so epic. When he made a move, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked to see how vast he is.
He looks cool and he's the strongest swordsman. Also, his ship or boat, or whatever it is called, looks badass enough.
Until Zoro surpasses him, he's the most badass in One Piece to date. Just see his appearances in the show. All badass.
I'm surprised that Dragon is at 12. He is one of the strongest characters and has great power, not to mention he's the most wanted man.

She's mysterious and dangerous.
He's so badass he grew a mustache, called it a beard, and nobody questioned it. Also, he went to war against Marine Headquarters at 72 years old and died standing after being stabbed 267 times, shot 562 times, and hit with 46 cannonballs, losing half of his head.
And all this without taking into account the injuries he accumulated over the years and that he was quite ill. But the most important thing is that all he did was for his family, which was his biggest dream since childhood.

In my opinion, the most badass anime character ever. If he were to stare down at you, puffing his cigarette with his unnaturally deep voice, would you be able to not feel intimidated? Not to mention that he saved Ace once, and he gets into fights with anyone and everyone that he thinks is looking down on him! Haha, Crocodile rules.

I think he has probably the coolest Devil Fruit I've ever seen, the Mythological Zoan Phoenix one. He's going to become one of the most powerful characters in all of One Piece.
Exactly, he's Whitebeard's right hand (now commander of the entire Whitebeard crew!), who has been shown to be able to fight on par with the admirals (and he has the Phoenix Zoan fruit!). Plus, his character is really cool, and the fact we didn't get to see much of him makes him mysterious too. I think he deserves a spot closer to the top.

Still, my hands-down favorite character in One Piece. He reflects my personality a lot, and I can't wait to see him back in the anime. I know that he will play a big role eventually. He's one of the only marines that sees the corruption in it too.

"Charismatic devil," "Heavenly Demon" - I just can't hate this guy. He got gamma knifed, Leo bazookaed, and took a few punches from Gear 4th and 2nd, and still managed to get up. One hell of a demon.

No sharp teeth to show that she's angry, but in episode 367, it shows a devil in her to show that she's angry. When she's scared, she sweats and doesn't poke her tongue out. I think she's the coolest by doing those things.

She's actually a really realistic character, if you ask me. Not your everyday thief, though. I kinda get why people hate her because she's a thief, but that's why I like her. Both Robin and Nami are cool.
