Okabe is #1, Kurisu is #2. I vote Okabe because you can't have Kurisu without Okabe, and, of course, Okabe is the best.

Honestly, Okabe is possibly one of the greatest main characters of all time. He might not be the smartest character ever - if that were the case, I would have voted for Kurisu (while she is my second favorite) - but Okabe is just enjoyable to watch.

He starts out as ridiculous and bombastic but eventually becomes very deep and serious after "that"...

She is beautiful and smart, plus she has the important role of a main character.
